I don't know if this is a recent issue, but lately this Petsmart has been awful. The lines are always long and finding someone to help you is impossible. If you place an online order it takes them hours to fill it (and half the time they get your order wrong). I've had bad experience after bad experience here. I would suggest taking your money (and time) elsewhere.

I have a ball python which I purchased last weekend and I recently got a fancy corn snake, which is a hatchling. I stopped into the petsmart in Springfield yesterday with some questions about the proper size mice for my snakes, especially the fancy corn snake, since he's so small. I also had some questions about heat lamps, heat mats, and how to help my python shed due to him shedding in pieces. I'd been to other petsmarts, which were not very knowledgeable about snakes, which was a little frustrating, but last night I met Kenny at the Springfield location and he was amazing!!! Kenny was very kind and patient with me and answered all my questions. He was funny as well. I will definitely be returning to this location. If there are any new snake owners out there, I would recommend this location. I left feeling more confident about caring for my snakes.Thanks again Kenny! You rock!!

I took my dog in for a grooming appointment twice now. The first time we arrived and were told the groomer called out, and they would call to reschedule us. It never happened, and I ended up reaching out myself the next time for another appointment. This time we show up and the poor groomer had no idea she had him! The communication seems to be off and it seems to really be frustrating for the groomers themselves as well. The ladies at the salon have been very sweet and the service itself has always been great, but how communication is handled is troublesome and hurts customers who need their dogs taken care of.

A lot of product offerings, however many chew toys and other small items were out of stock (understandably, it was two days before Christmas). Staff was helpful.

Service is awful, cancelling appointment that I made months in advance. They are not willing to help you out at all. Go to PETCO.

1. We used the pet hotel for 3 of our dogs. It's real nice, and the staff that helped were very professional. 2. When I called to ask them if our dogs were ready to come pick up early the were very polite and said we could come get them. When I talked to the first person, who was not part of the hotel staff they were rude and short and should be fired. I called back to ask about picking up our dogs food container and seemed like I was greeted by the same rude and offensive girl! She needs to find a new job or learn how to properly speak to paying costumers! She has no clue how to be kind!

Brought my moms dog up 1st time there at the grooming dept, and was pleasantly happy. The young lady that I made the appt with was courtess and professional . The groomer Bobbie was also very good. I was very happy with the service she proved me.

Good store. The salesman at the fish department was great! Knowledgeable and friendly. Helped us find what we needed for our toddler’s first aquarium. The cashier was not at all polite nor friendly. He was rushing me through check out and seemed bothered that my Pet Smart points were connected to a previous phone number and not my current one. So I asked him to check both numbers. Other than that we were happy with our visit and our new pet.

Visited store to purchase cat nail trimmers. Store makes it easy to find items since they have clear category markers cat, dog, fish etc.

As much as I love petsmart it was very disappointing trying to sign my puppy up for the Puppy Play Date..for a store who is all about pets I find it a bit discriminatory and odd they don't allow any Bully breeds to attend puppy play date as if they can't be probably trained and as if a 3 month American bully would harm anyone. Pathetic. I personally don't agree with this and do not feel comfortable ever supporting this franchise again.

Stopped in when I got off work to kill some time.. Clean, nice selection of fish. The young lady that helped me yesterday was awesome.. I hope she got off in time so her and her sister could get into something. She seemed rather excited

Booked an appointment for my puppy to be groomed at 2:30 pm this past Monday. Just got a phone call an hour before the appt that they have to cancel it. Searched EVERY PetSmart in the DMV to even find this appointment slot available. (Even explained to the manager that I am traveling to this location) You all have MULTIPLE groomers for a reason even managers sometimes have to jump on the floor to help their team out. Lack of sympathy for the customer or even to squeeze my appointment in at the end of the day NOTHING. Honestly, if you can’t meet the needs of your store and obligations to appts I am sure you all cut corners.

Stopped trusting curbside. Last time I waited for ten min in my car. Ended up going inside and standing in line to be helped. Just order online and go in. Or have delivered to your house if you don't need it today.

Outstanding place to take your dogs for daycare or overnight stays. I met Miral (manager) and Rocio (associate) during check in and check out. Both were very kind and great to communicate with. Their knowledge of the facility and dog behavior, after asking several questions, made me feel super comfortable in leaving my dogs over night. You can see into the playground area where all the dogs were. The floors were clean, crates were in good condition, and play toys looked free of any hazards. Highly recommended.

This store have a serious problem with customer service. They give a fouls and inaccurate information to a client and they don’t care about our opinions. I’ll never shop at a pet smart store in the USA so my friends and family’s. We are very disappointed with the service.
