My pup and I love Paw Spa! The groomers do an excellent job of making my shaggy girl look like a lady. I can't say enough nice things about them.

I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone as there level of unprofessionalism is reprehensible. They don’t answer their phones and are just dismissive via text. Additionally, they don’t follow instructions, they just do what they want. Since we couldn’t get anyone on the phone, we texted them the info of how we want our poodle to be groomed. We were very specific on not cutting her bun and they chopped it off. I texted them yesterday requesting a phone call, they ignored my text which is why I’m leaving this review. It was my first and last time using them. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET THERE. They are not professional or skillful.

Just moved to the area and took my Blue Heeler to Pet Spa. He’s very nervous whenever he goes to the groomer but Pet Spa did an excellent job and my boy was very happy and clean. Everyone in the shop is extremely nice and professional, I will definitely be returning.

I’ve taken my 10 year old dog named Bunny here for the third time and it’s always a wonderful experience! Reasonably priced with well trained and passionate staff that truly care about giving you pups a clean and healthy look ????

Our DemiTasse is so comfortable with the team. I leave, no “arias.” They really listen to what you want and ask questions. When done Demi looked just perfect. Thanks

Me and my friend took her Pomeranian here. We got here at around 8:50 am, our appointment was only supposed to be 30 minutes. By 12 pm my friend was called back because her Pomeranian was having a seizure. No explanation from the groomer on why he was having a seizure... He is currently in the vet with a bad liver due to a toxin they can't trace.

Have taken our dog here several times. They do an amazing job and my dog (who is usually anxious) absolutely adores everyone who works there. She went in a while back for a nail trim and was actually happily wagging her tail & was calm for the groomer! For comparison, when I try and trim her nails at home it's practically World War 3 ????. Very greatful for Paw Spa's amazing staff!

Our labradoodle Hank struggles with anxiety and hates going to the groomers, but every time he goes to Paw Spa he returns much more relaxed than any other place we've tried! Diamond is especially great--as soon as she met Hank she made him feel welcome. We will be back!!

Just took my dog in for a fancy bath and nail trim. She enjoyed it, looks fantastic and the staff was incredibly nice. If you need regular grooming, check them out.

Such a great service! I love that Toki and all other pups get to roam freely or hang out by the window. Our rescue has anxiety and hates crates or enclosed spaces. I love bringing her here because I know that she will be well taken care of. She always smells so good after her grooming but most importantly, the products they use do not irritate her skin. The haircut is always so cute on her!

Today was the first time my dogs were groomed here. I’ve taken them to many groomers in ten years, and not all groomers can groom Westies well. Their groomer today did a great job, though! Very professional/nice staff, & I love how they look! My dogs even received a compliment as soon as we stepped out of the building! :) We will be back.

We have two puppy mill rescues, a Westie and a Shih Tzu. Paw Spa has done an excellent job at dealing with their “unique” personalities. We have been using them for several months now and very pleased with their work. The pups come home looking great and always happy. The staff is hard working with excellent communication. Booking is easy and we are given a 30 minute advance notice when grooming is completed. Cari always takes her time we are truly grateful. Ping and Finley have never looked better!

I have been taking my mini-poodle to groomers for about 10 years and Paw Spa was one of the best cuts and best values I have received for my pup. Highly recommend.

I took my cute scruffy new puppy in and he came back looking like a top model. I recently adopted a 2yr old rescue stray who is the sweetest dog in the world but probably never had a proper bath before (I’m in the before shot with him). I called and explained his situation and they fit him in for a bath as quickly as they could. He went from being slightly yellow with fur that felt like straw (and the smell…) to a beautiful white shining fluff ball! He’s clearly so much more comfortable and I love cuddling him even more than ever! The team was beyond kind to him and it’s clear they all love animals. I’ll be bringing him (and his big sister) back forever. Thank you so much!

The services at Paws is of great value. The staff is caring of your pets. I’m very satisfied with Bear’s hair cut. Gabby is awesome.

Honestly I have nothing bad to say about this business. From when I booked the appointment to picking my baby from the appointment, they took the time to explain and give me suggestions on what I can do which I’ve never had from a groomer EVER. My dog hates getting groomed to the point where he needs a sedation and they were so kind and informative. I’m making it my mission to go back and I won’t go anywhere else! Truly phenomenal!!!!!!!

My 14 year old flat-coated retiever mix, Eleanor, was in serious need of grooming and the place she usually goes was booked 7 weeks out. When searching for an alternative I came across the Paw Spa and decided to give it a try. It was FANTASTIC! Eleanor came out looking and smelling fantastic and her cut was perfect. I also love that they send you a text 30 minutes before your pup is finished- meaning no dogs are waiting around and that your dog is getting 100% of the attention during their appointment. More importantly, it's clear just how much care, thought, and time have been put into this business and to making each dog's experience positive. Eleanor was never scared to go to the groomer before, but she also wasn't excited about it- always super ready to go home when I'd pick her up. When I got her from Paw Spa she came happily trotting out to the reception area, so relaxed and happy that I had a tough time getting her to leave, and that's why she'll only go there from now on. Yes- it is on the more expensive side and definitely nicer than any human salon I've ever been to, but you absolutely get what you pay for and Eleanor's happiness is worth every penny.

The Paw Spa VA is absolutely amazing! They are responsive, professional, and friendly. I am in love with my fur baby Bali’s new haircut. I am so happy to have found a reliable dog groomer in the Old Town area!

I took my baby to get groomed after a few months. I am from Annapolis but my brother lives near the area and let me tell you it was worth the drive. The groomer listened to me and even did more of what I was expecting. I love how my baby looks (THANK YOU SO MUCH ????❤️) I’ll definitely keep coming back here. Also, I love how you can communicate by text and send pictures of what you’d like. Great service!

Our pup was there back in March/beginning of April. Loved the customer service. Especially how they communicated with me during her stay. Unfortunately they cut my dogs undercoat. Now the coat is uneven and will never be the same again. We will not be returning.

Absolutely the worst! Gave me an estimate of 3 hours when I dropped my puppy off, I emphasized that it was his first time and I didn't want him to stay long. They were dismissive saying that I could take him back if I wasn't comfortable.....so much for me bringing him back the second time (the first time I did take him back, coz I made an error while booking his appointment online). They said they would call once he was ready. I promptly showed up after 3 hours and mentioned that I did not get call/text, they charged my credit card and went back to get my puppy. The groomer shows up and says that he would need another hour and half, when I showed my annoyance they asked if I would like to take him back (in retrospect I should have). I should have known then that they are not compassionate or considerate folks. They were definitely not apologetic. Kept my puppy for over 5 hours eventhough we made an appointment in person. During COVID times they are not at all concerned about customers shuttling back and forth to their location. As I left the place the owner calls me and said that I brought bad energy coz I was upset and slammed the door (for which I apologized)...I wonder why? What about ruining your customer's energy? Now the worst part, they did not pay any attention to my request on how I wanted him trimmed. They completely messed up the haircut (they pretty much shaved him), my puppy has cuts on his legs and private area. This is what I got for my time and money.
