Oh my gosh I don't even know where to begin. I absolutely love Dr.Friel. I hate it that I can't go in and actually talk to him and everything is translated through the assistance. So communication is hard enough a third parties even worse as everyone knows. I mean the teeth cleaning is that incredible low price. Regular vet bills are hardly in my budget. They take so much time explaining their prices are so good they care about their clients thank you Mike for all your help and all you're explaining and understanding the other day. I couldn't be happier. Thank you very much!

I WASN'T EVEN ALOWED TO TALK TO THE VET ABOUT MY RESCUE PUPPY'S FIRST EVER EXAM! I brought my new 15wk old rescue pup in for his first vet appointment to Westbrook Animal Hospital because they were able to get me the quickest appointment around (this should have been a warning sign). As a first time puppy owner with lots of anxiety, I thought an earlier appointment and a chance to talk to a Vet about my puppy and my concerns would help put me at ease. When we checked in, I asked if I would get to speak with the vet during or after the appointment to talk about my puppy and ask some questions that I had but I was denied even a "hello" from the vet who saw my puppy, Timothy Friel. I expressed to the technician, multiple times, that I was concerned and worried about my pup, and that I wanted to speak with the vet about my dog's first ever examination. But again, I was only able to talk to the technician. I wasn't even told ANYTHING about the examination. Nothing about his change in weight since I got him, his energy level, I wasn't able to ask about the scar on his ear... you know, things that you talk to your vet about, NOTHING. When I asked about feeding and how much to give my pup the tech told me "Oh, just feed him until he stops eating". No talk about a routine, no helpful hints for first time owners, no helpful advice. Maybe this place is good if you just need to get a shot and don't want to know anything about your pup, but if you care about your furry friend and want to speak to a professional about how his or her exam/appointment went, then I urge you to not waste your time or money here and find another Vet. One that will provide you with helpful information and will take the time to address your concerns, as a vet should. I'll definitely be avoiding this place in the future and you should too.

I had a cat that stopped eating and was vomiting. I called on a Saturday and they let me bring her over. They stayed past closing noon time to help my cat and she was back to good old self by evening and keeping me company in the gardens the next morning. I am so grateful I found this vet as unfortunately both of my previous vets had passed away and I was looking for the same level of care and found it at Westbrook Animal Hospital. The staff are very helpful too. I understand how difficult it is to be as accommodating as they are, so am patient and thankful when working with them. I trust them completely. And my cat does too!

Beautiful facility run by people whp truly care for the wellbeing of the animal who are brought to them. Each gets a lot of tlc before being released to the adoption floor.
