We have been with Stoneledge Vet Hospital for many years and we are as careful as any pet parents can possibly be about who we put our trust in to take really good care of our fur babies. Dr Mike and all of his staff go above and beyond every time. We feel very lucky to have them for our beloved pet family members. Everyone is always very helpful, easy to talk to, understanding and empathetic. We highly recommend all these wonderful people and thank them greatly for always being there whenever we need them

The only people I’ve trusted to manage my pups health and complex allergy issues. Despite her frequent visits for shots and skin issues she still CANNOT wait to visit her favorite techs and Dr. Mike. All smiles and tail wags from beginning to the end of the visit. She gets just as excited to visit the office as she does when you mention the p - a - r - k.

We have a large breed dog who gets very nervous at the vet, and Dr Chadbourne is the only vet he will allow to handle him. She’s excellent with him, and has made bringing him in for routine appointments and urgent care a much easier and calmer experience. It’s evident that she truly cares about her patients and their people!

I've had great experiences so far.

Brought our dog in after another vet preformed a leg amputation and was unable to educate us on how to handle recovery and after recovery life. After meeting with Dr. Mike we learned our brief after care instructions were not good and had been over stressing our big guy. After a few more visits we learned of some serious health issues including excessive scar tissue, a floating lymph node, and a kidney infection.

I am so glad I switched here last year. The level of care and commitment they show to pets is amazing. I went through the heartbreak of saying goodbye to a loved cat & they were with me every step of the way. Compassion, determination, and going the extra mile. My other furbabies go here as well now. Dr. Mike always goes above and beyond, always is willing to hear and listen to me. He is a one of a kind vet who really puts the pets first and clearly loves animals. The staff and techs are also beyond wonderful. The compassion they showed me and my boy as we had to say goodbye, is not something I will forget. Janelle and Sarah not only welcome me warmly on visits, but are excited about my pets. I am happy that Stoneledge will be an essential part of my pet family.

These people will always be considered family. Dr. Mike is the kindest most compassionate person I know.

Dr. Alden Chadbourne is the best! I have an eight year old, male Bernese Mountain Dog. Large breeds have their share of issues and any time I've had a question or concern, Dr. Alden has been quick to help with the right combination of expertise and compassion. Plus, the vet techs always make us feel loved. We feel lucky to have found this place!

Brought my adopted kitten in for her initial visit and was told by the ARL (and highlighted clearly in her paperwork) that she only needed a distemper shot and the first check-up was free since it is waived by the ARL. Stoneledge staff were nothing but kind over the phone with regards to my cat until I questioned the charge of services, as they were much higher than I expected for just a distemper shot. When they went to check with Dr. Chadbourne, they told me they had made an "oversight" and accidentally gave my kitten a rabies vaccination. She was not due for a rabies vaccination (had one 9/17/20) and I made it consistently clear that the only shot she needed was for distemper. They attempted to charge me for both vaccinations until I pointed out the "oversight" which was not an oversight but rather neglect for my animal's care. I made it abundantly clear through verbal communication multiple times that she only needed distemper, and they had all of her paperwork where it was highlighted in bold when she had her last rabies shot and when she was due again. Utter negligence and still charged me for the distemper, refusing to give my cat back until I paid. I am not confident whatsoever that my cat was taken care of properly and I would not recommend taking your animal here if you care about your pet’s health/safety and your finances -- as Stoneledge seems to care for neither. -- UPDATE -- I contacted them to get a refund and my exam voucher back. They were willing to give the voucher back for her exam, but not the distemper, and said there was nothing more they could do for her. Dr. Chadbourne first tried to blame the Animal Refuge League for having confusing paperwork (despite everything being highlighted and clear as day). When I mentioned this, she then pivoted to saying her vet tech told her my kitten was due for a rabies vaccine and she took the tech's word for it and hadn't seen the papers. Which is it? The lack of transparency and accountability is disappointing to say the least and there is clear miscommunication between staff that could be fatal for animals having such procedures. Don't trust this hospital -- take your pet somewhere else.

My pets have been seeing Dr. Mike for many years with my 2 boy cats and my rescue German Shepherd. He and all his staff were equally wonderfully with each pet. My dog was nervous and afraid of men, yet Dr. Mike won him over. All of these lived to be between 14 and 16 years of age and I can not tell you how wonderful all participants in the euthanasia process were. Now I have a new rescue, a 5 yr old cat. And she too is now seeing Dr. Mike.
