We have been taking our animals to LRAH for almost 10 years now & Everytime they have handled my animals situations with great care whether it was just a simple check up , a surgery or having to say goodbye to a furry friend . The prices are reasonable for the services provided & the staff is patient , caring , listen to all my concerns & answer all my questions ! I will forever take my pets to LRAH !

I've been coming here for 25 + and the staff and doctors are just the best. They are not just doctors but true caring people not only for us but for our furry kids. They show compassion and recommend to all my friends and family.

Even though you do have to make your appointments over 2 months out cuz they're so busy and short-staffed I had a emergency situation and they were able to get me right in and treat my cat for a big open wound when I left I felt so much better about my cat's well-being. Unfortunately my mr. Diesel was not too happy about the trip. LOL.

I like the way the staff at the Lisbon Road Animal Hospital treat me and my animals. Recently one of my cats was sick and they got us in to be seen asap! I am always able to get answers to my questions. They take time with me and my cats and let me decide what the best affordable care options are available. It is a warm and friendly atmosphere.

It's no easy task being responsible for our "fur-babies", but the whole team at Lisbon Road Animal Hospital does it with such grace and professionalism, they make it look easy. We have been taking out dogs there for years and years and I have never had any issues. They are always so kind and they even seem to remember our pups names just when we walk through the door. I don't envy the hard jobs they have some days when pets are sick or dying....I know I couldn't do it. It's nice to know there are still so many good human beings around. Thank you all. Rob

Over the past decades this hospital has treated my 2 ferrets,1 cat and 7dogs. Although staff has changed throughout the years, the care, compassion and professionalism remained the same. The hospital grows and has the greatest and latest. The rehabilitation services, has come to the aid of 3 of my dogs with back issues. The vets provide alternatives in treatments and are compassionate when the time arrives for our companions to cross that Bridge. I definitely recommend them for your companions treatment.

While I love Dr. Clark and have used him for many many years. His office staff lacks compassion, friendliness, and courtesy. They are very rude on the phone. It is very disappointing. Although I will continue to have Dr. Clark, and only Dr. Clark, care for my pet, I would not recommend the facility to any pet owner. The unprofessionalism and rudeness in the office personnel is disappointing. I would rather pay extra and go to the emergency clinic. The emergency clinic staff are more friendly and able meet the needs of my pet. While I had heard stories about their unprofessionalism, I had never thought much about it. Now that I have a pet in need of urgent care, I have seen the terrible side of the staff members first hand.

Our cat, Andromeda, loved the attention and pets form the staff. They are very professional and caring.

When all other Vets in the area, aren't "seeing new patients", these people took us in and helped my dear Tucker. They are super professional and love animals. So glad to have them!

My first time there and they were the best, my little old man really enjoyed them, definitely would recommend them

Was in for a visit today. As an animal lover I give my animals the best care possible. As we all know we spend a lot of money to do so. I was taken in 20 minutes late. That was fine I figured they might have had an emergency. The two who was with me and my dog were kind and caring. After the visit when checking out the girl who took care of the bill was rude and very short with me. There was no smile or have a good day. I find her customer service was one of the worse I have ever had. So suggest for the office front. Someone might have had gotten bad news or lost there beloved pet. A smile can help.

Our family has been using this veterinarian practice for many years. My husband's grandfather started this practice. Doc Gallagher. Our family purchased a new puppy. He unfortunately came with a UTI. He was treated at an emergency clinic. I brought him to this office and he still had his UTI. After 4 rounds of the same antibiotics and the vet telling us he needed a bladder procedure that will cost 500.00 dollars we declined. The puppy showed no signs of a UTI. After spending hundreds of dollars to cure a UTI in our puppy we decided to let him be antibiotic free for awhile. We brought him to a different veterinarian to have him neutered and brought a urine sample. Needless to say our puppy was UTI free. Whether he fought it off himself or it was a miracle...I will not be bringing my pets back to this veterinarian practice. It's sad because it used to be the bet vet practice.

Loved it good people and good place

They have always been wonderful to me and my sister's pets. They were so respectful and kind while I tried to swallow down my grief. The young woman who was the nurse assisting the dr was absolutely so sweet and patient. I was grieving my spouse who I lost 3 years ago on April 18th simultaneously and did end up saying that out loud. I'm sure this threw her off of her normal way of presenting information to me about my kitty's options. For me, this just gave evidence to her natural abilities in compassion. I truly wish I could remember her name. She was lovely and kind even when my kitty was too scared to be nice to her. I truly admire and appreciate that there are people like her in this world and even though I was confused when leaving, I just want it to be known that going through that yesterday was horrible, but if I didnt have someone like her there with her sweetness and genuine kindness in her eyes, I wouldn't know what to do. Soon, once I have found myself a new kitty, I will be so glad to introduce him/her to the staff here. Hands down, the best animal clinic in Maine.

I have been bringing my cat here for a few years, service was ok. Had an appointment for 11:40, arrived on time only to find a sign telling me to call from my car to let them know I was there, which they didn't tell me when I made my appointment. Didn't have my phone so I had to drive back home (5 min away) to call to let them know I was there and was told I had to reschedule 3 weeks later. Didn't bother to offer to call me if someone else cancelled. Didn't bother to mention the walk in clinic in Freeport (I found out about them from another vet). Not happy at all, won't be returning.

Very nice staff, they always get me in quickly and take great care of my pets

They listened to me, got me in quickly with my cat and were very professional. The staff were knowledgeable and gave me lots of information and the reasons why things were happening. They didn’t push anything on me but made solid recommendations. I highly recommend, they were amazing with my skittish kitty. You can tell they love animals.
