The techs are so caring and gentle with my pup who tends to get very nervous at the vet. The vet was fantastic and took the time to explain things to me. He also noticed some medical things that hadn't been picked up by previous vets. All in all, would highly recommend.

THERE is NO OPTION for NO STAR. My dog had a heart murmur (PRE-CONDITION KNOWN to PAH, even to the attending vet) and I brought him in because he had rapid, short, labored breaths (chest cavity HEAVING w/each breath he took); VISIBLE to the NAKED EYES. Vet didn't bring in a stethoscope to listen to his heart or lungs, even after she commented, "Wow! He's breathing hard!" Vet looked at his mouth and said, "He looks anemic. He hasn't had a blood test. He needs one." Vet needed for me to leave him for 1/2 day, so that they could "diagnose" his symptoms; send the xrays to outside source for reading. UNBEKNOWNST to me, PAH took my dog outside into THE COLD FOR HIS URINE and STARTED TREATING him W/O my consent and WITHOUT giving me the DIAGNOSIS. My dog was already with CONGESTIVE HEART FAILURE by the time he had arrived...I found this out after days of research, since PAH never did provide AND could NOT DIAGNOSE his symptoms...Vet thought that he was ANEMIC which is why she wanted the blood test. DIdn't they go to VETERINARY SCHOOL?? PRE-CONDITION is a heart murmur due to a left MVD...I had to let him sleep before he was subjected to more pain and suffering.

Great hospital and care for our animals. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

I have been taking my 3 dogs to PAH for many years. They offer the highest quality service and care for each of my pups. They treat my dogs as if they were their own. I am always amazed at the responsiveness of PAH. No matter when you reach out via email they always respond within a few hours. Most impressively even on the weekends. They are always professional and take an individual interest in every pet. Additionally, they are very knowledgeable regarding a variety of ailments. They understand how your pet is seen as a family member. They even intentionally personally follow up with you after a diagnostic condition no matter how serious. This builds instant trust and confidence in the Vet services. I have never experienced such a consistent quality Vet as PAH. Bravo!

We have had several pets cared for at PAHVET over many years. Staff are dedicated and professional from the front desk to the Vets. They listen to owners, have superior follow up and truly care about what they do. We live several towns away from Kittery and make the drive to PAHVET because we want our pets to have the best possible care. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!

The staff is amazing! They are so very friendly and compassionate, and they check up regularly on their patients. I've never experienced this level of care and communication from any vets we've used in the past - they are the best! Our puppy is so excited to see Samantha every time we go, that she never wants to leave!

Absolutely love this vet. I've only known it during covid, but their practices are great. It's a little odd to drop off your animal in the vestibule, but it's also cute it feels like you're dropping the kid off at school or something ???? I had an emergency with my cat last week and I was able to bring her in immediately. She was in and out in less than a half hour and since you can't go in with your animal you wait in your car I was very pleased to see my cat hanging out in the window and it was very reassuring to see her in there. The vets calls you and discusses what's going on and they also follow up via email which I very much appreciated Cannot say enough great things about this vet.

Love the team here! From front desk to the veterinarians it is obvious that everyone loves their job!
