KAH has always done a excellent job in taking care of my pets which includes 3 dogs and 2 cats. I had to have one of my dogs put down and Dr. Moffit came to our home and he was excellent. I can not say enough good things about him. He has been our vet and I can't imagine one being so caring, empathetic and knowledgeable. Thank you Dr. Moffit Shayne Going

They took care of my daughters pet awesomely! But wish they would do a face to face at end of visit this over the phone thing is very impersonal And it feels like you can’t get all your questions asked or answered.

Everyone here always goes above and beyond for our pets. I've been going here for over 20 years and have always been happy with their service! They are genuinely loving and caring to all their patients. We even adopted our dog here and the process went very smoothly. We are so in love with our rescue! Thank you KAH for all you do!

Dr. Duckett was wonderful with my fearful cat. He gave us plenty of time. I've always loved Kittery Animal Hospital for my cats.

Bring my car here and they are so friendly and helpful. My only complaint is the very cute adoptable animals they often have available and how hard it is to not want to take them home!

Thank you so much for taking care of my Kitty's tumor excision. I really appreciate the kind, professional and loving staff. It's a wonderful fact that you can email pictures of your fuzzy family member to make sure that all is going well with their recovery. You're the Best. Thank you again!!! ❤❤❤

I can’t wait until we can accompany our pets inside but other than that I have zero complaints. I love how my rottweiler wasn’t/isn’t judged and automatically deemed aggressive because of her breed. She was treated just like any other dog from day 1, which is exactly the opposite of what happened at our old vet. She was muzzled at her first visit and the everyone was clearly scared of her before even interacting with her, which lead to her receiving inadequate care due to their unjustified fear of her but luckily that is what prompted us to give KAH a try and we have found our vet for life!! Thank you all for everything you do, from friendly receptionists to the amazing vet techs and of course the incredibly knowledgeable vets whom display great patience to ensure your pet is comfortable every step of the way (my big girl is a big baby and jumped up in my lap, scared of the vet but he didn’t rush he gently took is time earning her trust until she was comfortable to proceed)! If you’re “bully breed” is being judged/mistreated by your current vet I strongly recommend visiting Kittery Animal Hospital!

I am new to the Kittery/Portsmouth area and only here seasonally, but am here with 5 dogs. I initially contacted Kittery Animal Hospital when looking for nail trims for a couple of my dogs. The were very responsive, available, easy to work with and accommodating. (The cost for the nail trim was higher than what I had been paying, but I have not compared it to anywhere else in this area.) I returned later in the month with a dog that was just not acting normally ... he was lethargic and "not himself". Dr Moffat was very clear, honest and detailed in the explanation of (and obstacles to) his findings. He took the extra time to reach out to his friend - an expert in the anatomy we were dealing with. We worked through all of the possible causes and options for actions (including going to another facility and bringing in an expert surgeon). We chose an initial surgery that allowed greater discovery with the hopes of possibly avoiding a more intensive surgery... and, in the capable hands of Dr. Moffat, Alex and the entire staff, this worked wonderfully for us. Our dog did not have to stay overnight, and responded well to the initial surgery. His follow-up appointment brought more understanding of his condition and with an antibiotic and ongoing adjustment to his diet, he is is now back to his happy, energetic self! As an aside - this same dog got spooked on the 5th of July and ran away (the first time we've ever experienced this terror!). He was found by neighbors and the Kittery PD and brought to Creature Comforts overnight. It was pure luck that he made it to a familiar place during this time of distress. I am forever grateful for the loving assistance this vet office/boarding facility have shown to my dogs! With so many choices within this area - I feel fortunate to have found the Kittery Animal Hospital!

Adopted my little boy Ragnar from here, and they are his "primeowry" care physicians. They have been nothing but awesome, courteous, kind, and helpful.

My recent visit at KAH was excellent for my senior Lab. She was treated very well, and I received excellent feedback from Dr. Duckett regarding her conditions. Thank you so much and my Lab loved getting the squeak toy at the end !

The level of care and compassion from everyone at Kittery Animal Hospital has been unsurpassed. My two Beagles became their patients in 2006, and they have treated them for numerous health issues and life threatening diseases. I would never go anywhere else for the care of my pets.

Kittery Animal Hospital is the BEST! I truly sense the care is genuine, The medical team and the staff are sensitive and compassionate, especially when needing to put our Loved Furry Friends down. I trusted my son's pediatrician...and that's how I feel here. I've been with Scott Moffat for a long time and wouldn't want anyone else. Linda N-T

Not a big fan of not going in with Lightning but I understand it. Other than that KAH is the best!

Very efficient at coming out to car to get the pet. But I feel that it would be better to let the owner with mask on to bring pet into the office.

I recently returned to KAH after adopting an older Lab who had undergone treatment for thyroid cancer the year before. Everyone at KAH was totally responsive about getting my new dog in quickly to be examined for symptoms of an ear infection. Dr. Moffat was very diligent in looking over all of my dog's previous records, diagnosing his current status and informative about our options for continued overall care. I never felt rushed or dismissed by him regarding my concerns, and left knowing my new dog was in the good care I had always provided for my previous dogs and cats.. I would highly recommend Kittery Animal Hospital as the best vet care anyone could provide for their pets.

My Mikah absolutely loves this place.. we call it camp kittery for his boarding . They take him on a minutes notice. Great and loving place to board your furbabies and my boy is a handful..

I didn't care for drive up service only because I wanted to be with my fur baby while she got her exam and rabies shot. Due to Covidv19 I say they are professional caring and understanding. I reccomend Kittery Animal Hospital to other fur parents because they offer reliable responsive services. Thankyou Dr. Beckett for taking care of my fur baby.

KAH has introduced me to my new cat Otis. They have called several times to check that Otis is doing OK in his new home and adjusting well in a new place. Their followup with their concern and care has been greatly appreciated by me and Otis. Thank you KAH!

I have used this practice for over 5 years and had wonderful experiences up until my recent encounter. We moved to Germany and the health certificate vet tech was rude, condescending and very unhelpful. I had previously gone in the summer and was told we should be good for our travel. Called and after awhile the tech called back and i found we had a lot more to do. Revaccinate the cats and get one a new microchip. Over $600 later, rescheduled new hiring date in Germany and the tech then tells me no vet will be available during the required health certificate window. Had to transfer to Broadview in Dover to get health certificates for our flights. I have always recommended the clinic and have received quality care until then. Very disappointing. Thank goodness Broadview was willing to help and this time i was only out $300.

Not a thing. I was in such a scramble with my move and they were nothing but helpful and concerned for my cat (he has vaccine reactions). It was such a relief to know my cats were in good hands while trying to deal with everything else. Thank you so much!
