Very kind & empathetic. They helped us through a difficult time with professionalism & grace.

The veterinarian technician were very nice and came to the car to care for my pet in a timely manner and were very polite. The veterinarian that saw my dog completed exam and any treatment in a reasonable amount of time considering it being Christmas day.

Thank you for making our final minutes with our dog as good as can be expected. Everyone was super understanding. Rough day, but a good experience with the Vet techs and the Vet. Thank you.

Had a scare with my beagle over the holiday weekend. We are new to the area and haven't found a vet, yet! So truly grateful and thankful for these amazing people who are available to care for our beloved fur friends. So very professional and, although it was a long afternoon, I'd wait a million times longer knowing my dog was being cared for so well. Amazing service, thorough, professional staff and absolutely thankful for the Sunday hours.

This past weekend I had to bring my 6 year old dog here. After x-rays, blood work, and other testing.... We realized there was some serious issues going on. We ended up having to put our girl down ????. Even with me being worked up, the staff here was extremely compassionate and respectful. They took so much time listening to me, and they explained everything to me in detail the whole time. It was one of the hardest decisions I have had to make, and they were right there with me to explain all results and options to me. I can't thank them enough for helping me through this difficult time.

Well..if it was not for these guys my pet would not be alive..the only critism is that the price is very high

wouldn’t take a girls dog in because she wasn’t critical enough so when she took the dog back they said she was too far gone. They then told her they would cremate her and later called the girl saying they had lost her! Disgusting

Because of covid you must sit inside your vehicle & CALL THEM. They will get everything necessary over the phone & then come get the pet when they're ready for them. They called me after the examination to let me know what his status was & the next steps that he recommends. Told me the estimated cost & we went from there. They brought my kitty out, I paid the bill with the expected total & received some pain meds & instructions on dose & aftercare including the things I unfair had to declined due to cost ???????? But off to home we went until ges ready to say goodbye to us with his 7 yr old human best friend included. The doctor was very respectful & sympathetic about my situation.

They can help in a true emergency, always treated my babies with care and respect. This is not an inexpensive service. The euthanasia costs are reasonable but other services are much pricier then a daytime vet.

I had to rush my rotti puppy there for emergency help they rushed out grabbed my puppy and saved his life the staff was very kind and heartfelt the practice it's self is pricey but my little guy is still with me and back to normal

Severely understaffed. This is mismanagement lacking contingency skills. After calling ahead and driving there in the 6-hr wait-time (after a 2-hr drive) we drove another 2-hrs to a better managed facility where we received proper care.

Had a possible dog emergency this morning on our trip from Bar Harbor to New Jersey. Traveling with two golden retrievers. The younger one may have ingested a double dose of her medication. Called on our way through Brewer they suggested we come in. We met the veterinary technician outside their office she took all the information including our call the ASPCA medical hotline. After talking with us and consulting with the veterinarian our options were presented to us as either stay for observation or continue on our drive with the knowledge that a emergency veterinary clinic was also available in Scarborough. Our dog had presented with no outward symptoms of over medication. So we chose to monitor her and decide if we needed to stop in Scarborough. The office in Brewer provided us with outstanding service, kindness, understanding and information. I would highly recommend their office. Thank you so much.

I had a scare with my dog in the middle of the night, who appeared to have swallowed a metal object and it was unclear whether or not this metal object was sharp. He was trying to vomit. I called at around 1:30 AM, looking for guidance. Amy answered and very professionally gave me some options and instructions. I asked some questions about logistics and pricing, and she was able to helpfully answer those as well. I didn't end up needing to take my dog there, but I was very impressed with the professionalism and thoroughness I got over the phone, especially at such a stressful time for me. Thank you!

The vet was incredible. He was very caring and considerate during a really rough time with our dog.

The staff here are absolutely amazing...Kind, compassionate, considerate, and empathetic. They helped make one of the hardest decisions a pet parent has to make during an emergency situation. Thank you for your kindness and understanding.

While I feel that my regular vet for my pet is very good at what they do I also feel that it would have taken longer to diagnose my pet's problems if it hadn't been for Eastern Maine emergency veterinary service.

Your better off going somewhere else. I can't believe how Rude the receptionist is. No thanks I will take my business elsewhere.
