This team is great! Just moved to the area and had to rush our dog there after she got into mouse poison--they were responsive, incredibly kind and empathetic and, although they don't see this often, they researched and confirmed every step along the way to be sure our dog got the best are they could administer. They did not hesitate to help us and explained everything in real detail. I so appreciate their help and professionalism. We will become regular customers

Nice staff very professional but always super expensive. I don’t mind paying for quality when it comes to my animal but I think this vet takes it a little over the top. The first couple of times going just went a annual visit and once for an allergy and I was astonished at the prices for both. The allergy visit was a planned visit and after seeing my dog for about 10 minutes and giving a allergy medicine (was not a extreme allergy dog was just scratching more than usual turned out to just be seasonal allergies) I was given and bill of over $150. But this last visit now has me looking for a new vet. My dog cracked her dewclaw nail and was bleeding so I decided to take her in. Again after seeing my dog for all of 10 minutes they pulled the claw off and just put some quick stop on it and gave her a shot of antibiotic I was met with a $254 bill! Ridiculous I was thankful the vet was able to take her in right away but charging a patient that’s already yours a emergency fee it’s super sad Especially when it’s during the week in the middle of the day. I was given a discount however I was also charged $15 for a plastic cone I did not need and was not asked if I needed it as I have a better one for my dog at home so it kind of canceled out the discount that was only $18 anyways. I also don’t appreciate always being pushed heartworm preventative when I tell them over and over again I get my dogs medicine and vaccines a shot clinic just around the corner for Half the price of what they charge if not more. I have also provided them with these records. Time to find a new vet for a shirt

Avoid this place at all costs. The health and well-being of your animal relies on YOU the owner to make good decisions. This place is a joke. Thanks to another vet in the area who was able to use lab results from your clinic and effectively treat my dog. Something you couldn’t do and sent my animal home to suffer for 72hrs (after pushing some BS food you sell in house) before I made a better decision. Shameful.

Charge a lot for every service. Cat need a booster or vaccine series, or biweekly antibiotic shot? You pay for a full visit while other vets in the area allow their vet techs to do them, saving your time and money. Nail trim while on an annual wellness visit? They charge separately for this too.

Called for emergency for our dog. They said bring him in. We get there they said what's wrong, we tell them, they said he seems to be in a lot of pain (he was), they said it will cost $350, we said we only have 50 right now but we can go to the bank in the morning to pay the rest, they refused to see your baby boy until we had all the money. They're in it for the money not the love for the animals

Worst experience ever. After a life and death emergency with my pet, I was not only charged 50% in excess of the quoted surgery, aftercare and meds, I was treated terribly and denied meds and instructions after having paid for them. They required I pay in full before treating her, so when I went to pick her up the following afternoon understanding I owed only for what meds she would take home with her, I was surprised by an additional, very large bill, which was never explained. When I explained I was shocked, confused and couldn’t afford the whole amount that day, The vet himself (Walsh) tore the bag of prescriptions, medical food and aftercare instructions from my hand, wouldn’t let me leave without payment, and threatened to call the police. I was humiliated and exhausted. This same vet had given me the option the day before, of euthanasia (and a $600 bill) or a Very expensive surgery, meds for life and probably more surgery later. I had less than an hour to decide and pay, on a tight budget, 2 weeks before Christmas. I was taken advantage of at a vulnerable time, but was desperate to save my cats life and didnt have another option. I have never been treated so terribly by a business, and as a nurse, am shocked to have had this experience at a place that calls itself a hospital. One of the vet techs was very kind, I wish I remembered her name; still, I would leave no stars if I could.

Way to expensive was told its 150 dollars just to walk through the door really turned me off from wanting to take my pet there seemed they was more concerned with money then my pet

I was absolutely very Impressed with this animal clinic. My cat had an emergency and ALL the staff was so kind and caring, treated my cat so good. They explained everything they were going to do, explained the different choices to help her, explained prices and called the next day to check on my cat after she was home. ❤

Every time you go in to the facility, they are always trying to sell you multiple things! Every time! And we had a small bump removed from our dog and the stitches they put in came undone! We followed everything they asked of us: the donut around his head, no exercise, etc. We went in to try and get him stitched back up(after $1k from the bump removal) and they wanted another 500. We tried to work with them but they wouldn't budge and didn't offer us a payment plan or anything. The lady at the front desk came in and talked down to us and then when I went to get the money from the bank, she told my girlfriend that she is going to raise the price because she said it was after hours(despite being there at 5 when they close at 6). Highly disrespectful to those on a budget; even if you have money, be aware of what they try to sell you. I honestly wouldn't give them any stars.

We spend a few months a year in Maine with our 14 year old Lab. Cooper has had many trips to Bath Animal Hospital. The latest was with a episode of pancreatitis. We thought we were going to loose him. All the staff were excellent. It was one of the hardest things having him for 3 days at the clinic. Cooper made great progress. He has been treated for growths on his eyelids, ulcers on his eyes and weakness in his back legs and pain control. The vets and staff have made it possible for us to enjoy Cooper more each day. Thanks to all the love and care to our loving dog.
