Pontchartrain Animal Hospital Slidell, Louisiana

I started taking my baby Pepper to them on the 27th of December do to my vet being too booked even though we had a medical emergency. We were seen by Dr. Conner and Dr. Kobe and I can not say enough about them. When I say the entire staff accommodated us and made us feel loved I mean it. They went above and beyond for my beautiful boy and you could tell he liked them too. We needed to be seen multiple times on an emergency basis and they got him in everytime. Every single person that Pepper saw I truly believe cared for him..and comforted him. However we did find out that he had prostate cancer and he wasn't going to make it much longer. He fought so hard to stay with me. I do NOT like change especially when it come to my babies because they are all I have, but the team here truly made me feel better. We had to take Pepper in this morning to say goodbye. Dr. Kobe helped. Worst day of my life. But they gave me extra time with my baby and for that I'm so very appreciative. I loved my sweet boy and will continue to use them with my other, Anna. Thank you once again for being so lenient and so kind...I needed it. Pepper needed it.

Amazing care. Came in with an acute injury. Staff was comprehensive, caring, compassionate. Communicated with specialists quickly. Fees very reasonable. Highly recommend.

I was in a hard place and had to put my Sasha to sleep, her body was shutting down. It was one of the hardest things I've had to do, the compassion that was shown to me and my daughters by Dr Kobe and the staff at Ponchartrain Animal Hospital was amazing. Thank you all! ????

The wait was long, but the office was very busy. The workers, including the veterinarian, were polite and professional. The vet informed us of prices before administering treatment. Office/waiting area was clean, as well as the outside area.

We have 6 Dogs, The people here are wonderful!! Loving, caring and exceptionally kind. We trust them with the care of all our babies!!

So grateful for care and concern that the doctors and staff there have for me and my precious pets. This week was the hardest as we had to say goodbye to Cali after 18 or more months of special care and the last month especially. Thank you, Dr Brown, and everyone else on the staff who showed her such compassion- from front desk to techs to staff passing through telling her “hello” and saying how much they enjoyed her “talking”. So grateful for each one of you.

5 star place. Made appointment and got in same day. Was shocked 1st time I ever brought 9 yr old dog to vet and it was a little over 100. Took back a week later and only 25.00 No sign on building cause they dont need it. Quick inexpensive diagnoses and treated. Definately take your pet there. Never took my dog to get groomed but these people I like, so gonna try grooming and will follow up on review.

Big changes in Dr’s. How does service seem to others now?

PAH is the most amazing, caring vet I have ever been too! Anytime I have any issues with my baby they care for her like she were their own. They are also so kind and very thorough in ensuring I understand what is going on and what the plan of care is. I would HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend them!

We took our dogs there for years but recently we took our dog there and was told she had fluid on her lungs and was given medicine. After she was not getting better we were told to up the medication. She then stopped eating and was given an appetite stimulant. She was brought to them 2 times and really no blood work was done or serious evaluation. It really felt like they just wanted to hurry up and get her out. After she could barely walk we took her to another veterinarian and they ran test on her and we were told her kidney were shutting down and she was throwing blood clots. We were never told any of this less than a week before when we brought her there. We had to put her down. The new vet said they might have been able to save her if we would have caught it earlier. I will never take a pet back to Pontchartrain Vet.

Sam had a wonderful visit today at Pontchartrain Animal Hospital....He got his Pro Heart shot and toe nails trimmed and we were in and out of there in a matter of 15 minutes. They were very sweet... very professional and very caring

Our first visit and the staff welcomed us with open arms. My sweet Toxie girl loved everyone there. This is a very kind and loving vet clinic.
