Fur-Babies Playpen Slidell, Louisiana

I have had my Pomeranian groomed. They do the best work,I have tried all the groomer's in Slidell and none of them have ever done an out standing job like they have. Love their work and I am so glad to see them reopening again I don't care how far it is it's worth the trip to see my baby look so good and when I get her back she's not stressed out, because she's been there 4 or 5 hour's. Thanks for taking care of my baby.

I was referred to Fur-Babies by my aunt Joann Parker. She and her husband was “Ecstatic” after bringing Coco(their fur baby)and seeing how well groomed she was. I had my dog stay here about 2 years ago when they had opened at this location. I paid more so my dog would be comfortable and not be in a smaller kennel for a week while I was on vacation. I called everyday trying to speak with someone and see how he was doing. Not once did someone call me back until the very last day of my trip. The person on the phone notified me that they had a "power outage" and thats why I may have not been able to reach them. This was in August and it was extremely hot. I immediately called a family member to pick up my dog. He was drenched and looked exhausted and dehydrated from the heat. Who knows how long he was in that condition. The owner was also extremely rude. I would highly suggest finding another location for your pets. Response to owners comment: I have had my dog stay there. I have photos and I can send a payment record as well. I'd be glad to post those if you'd like. Funny how every poor review is "not in your system"... how odd. I'm posting now after 2 years because for one I forgot to post a review and I had a friend with a poor experience with you as well recently. I just wish I would've known she was having her babies stay with you beforehand so I could've warned her.

Since moving to Slidell, Furr Babies is the only place I take my spoiled baby Derby. I feel very confident leaving him while I travel.. I love the idea of the Suites. It's his home away from home.. So thank you Furr Babies for treating Mr Derby as your own. We will definitely be back again..

Love Fur Babies! Always give my dog a “great cut”! And they place him in his own room and not a kennel! Staff is wonderful and always accommodating!

First time using them today and I'm completely satisfied with my experience!

I have 2 50-60 lbs older dog's. I always get the master suite for them due to their size and I prefer them to be able to room together. I'm always nervous about leaving them at kennels but its unavoidable because life happens. The staff here (family owned and operated) is absolutely amazing. I've never had a problem, and shortly after my son was born they were able to squeeze them in at the last minute for a night so that my husband and I could room in with our newborn before taking him home. (My son was in the NICU for the first 4 days of his life so we were unable to have him in my room before I was discharged) I will say that if you have larger dogs like mine and they are younger they may not take them because larger younger dogs tend to be destructive. Both of my dogs are 10 years old.

I took my daughters dog for a full grooming with nail clipping and all i picked him up put him in the car with nails that was very jaggard and sharp not smooth at all he shook all the cut hair flew all over the car he didn't smell as though he had been bathe i not to goning there again

Took my little fur baby to Fur Babies yesterday to be groomed ! When my husband saw her he was in awe at how clean and beautiful she looked.She was so clean that she was glowing. I am looking forward to Coco's next visit ! She has finally found a place that treats her like royalty because she is indeed a QUEEN ! Thanks for taking care of my fur baby Fur Babies !

I’m publicly apologizing for the bad review really didn’t have a problem with the grooming of the dog shouldn’t handle the mix up with the scheduling this way but I had to alter my schedule and the schedule of my son to make that appointment and was under a lot of pressure at work but it’s still not an excuse it was not Christ like and I do publicly apologize. I’m Sorry.

My pups and I absolutely love furbabies! Michelle and Brett are awesome and take care of our babies when boarding or just getting a bath. Makes me feel very comfortable that my pups get excited to go in the door there, unlike the vet. (Lol) Highly recommend Furbabies Play Pen!

Excellent service, very clean, friendly staff. My dashchund has had several back surgeries and needs extra TLC. One owner held her in his arms while the other owner gently trimmed her nails. We will be back!

My dog loves going to Fur Babies Playpen. She gets to relax in her own suite at night and also play with the other dogs during the day. We bring her every year while we are on vacation.

Fur-Babies Playpen is the only place that we trust to watch our dog while we are out of town. Top-notch facility! They even have Sunday pick ups!

They truly care for your pet, True animal lovers who take the time and effort to make sure that your pet is groomed and cared for with love, My small dog who happens to be very timid never minds going to here, You can trust them with your loved pet.

The best groomer/boarder in Slidell and super affordable.

I bring two dogs there for grooming and de-shedding. They are the best! I have never had a bad experience and have been bringing my dogs there for a long time. Even when I'm having a bad day, they are nice. Highly recommend Fur Babies. My opinion...the best in Slidell.
