My pet pooch, Okra, always goes to the Metairie, LA location, but due to hurricane Ida and us staying in Slidell right now, their Slidell LA location welcomed. Everything went smoothly. Thanks Slidell Banfield Vet location!

Very rude couldn't get an associate to answer a simple question! I went on a Saturday & they were busy but she could of least acknowledge that I was trying to get her attention!

Since there is no emergency veterinarian in Slidell, I was thrilled to be able to bring our cat to Banfield last Sunday as a walk-in. Dr. Fox and Dr. Cameron are truly wonderful vets who seem to love Lily Rose/Lil Girl as much as we do. The only "problem" with Banfield is they can't keep pets overnight. I understand why, but that would have made it so much easier on Lil Girl/Lily Rose than having to bring her back on successive days...

This place has sweet front desk personnel. Sometimes they may tell you different info. Front desk/doctor regarding pet care which can be annoying, but we like the value of care.

First time bringing our dog to this location. We were happy with our prior Banfield location but we moved closer to this location. We are VERY happy with this location. The staff here is so friendly and helpful.

The staff at the location are wonderful! However they have unethical business practices. Contract renews without notification. Collections practices are outrageous. Brought my dog here for 4 years, will never set foot in a pet smart ever again!

Banfield is committing Fraud. Do not send your pets to them. I cancelled my contract with them before my next renewal. They claim they never received my cancellation and continued to pull money monthly out of my account. After talking to someone from Banfield, they refused to stop automatic drafts from my account so I stopped payment on my end. They proceeded to call me every other day to collect money. Banfield continued to assure my that I never cancelled and that I wanted to renew my contract. I never signed anything stating I wanted to renew. My dog never received any type of service during this "phantom" contract year. They refused to understand my perspective and sent me to collections. I am so disappointed at how powerless the people are and how powerful corporations are. It is their word against ours. How do the small people get back at these large corporations. Oh, and by the way, the collections agency simply referred me back to Banfield to hash it back out with them.

They have a great team of veterans, vet technicians and staff there. They're caring and love your babies. I'm proud to bring my baby girl Princess Mayah to them and love them like family.

They get a 3 because I went in with my lovely childog and everything look fine but they did not examine him because he had a patch on his leg I called they was supposed to call me back still none until this day ... so to be fair I don’t believe especially since cov19 that these animals are getting te right care because no one can see behind the door anytime my baby was not examined correctly now we are treating him

I absolutely LOVE this Banfield!!! I followed Dr. Cross from the private practice he worked for to Banfield. I have also visited the Covington, LA and Harahan, LA locations and received the same outstanding service.

This is the customer service person at Banfield I'm Slidell Louisiana who is rudely trying to enforce social distancing inside the store. She isn't wearing a mask. After I said something to her about it, she continued talking to another customer in line who also wasn't wearing a mask. This is the moment I pulled out my phone and took the photo. She didn't put a mask on until a doctor came out of the treatment area, whispered something into her ear, and walked away. She immediately put a mask on. Thank you Ms. Pam for coming out and taking care of me so I didn't have to speak to the other lady again.

Dr fox is very smart and helpful. She is well qualified and you can feel safe trusting your babies with her. She will go out of her way to help you understand anything and everything going on with your pets diagnosis.

I love this Pet Hospital my first experience was so awesome and now they are taking care of my dog todo dr. Cross and his staff are highly professional and they have a big heart and a love for Animals I would highly recommend them to anyone.

The doctors are very knowledgeable, kind and caring. Their main objective is to make sure that your fur baby is taken well care of! I love that they are ALL animal lovers!!! The staff is amazing, always helpful, willing to do whatever it takes and with a smile. Definitely a five Star plus!! I will never go anywhere else!!

I live in San Diego but come home to the New Orleans area quite a bit. My dog has been under the Banfield plan for a few years and under vet care at a Banfield in San Diego. My little pal has been through the ringer this year with health conditions. I have had to take her to this location couple of times. One for a routine med check up and another an emergency. Dr. Fox and Dr. Cross are both amazing! Very thorough, accommodating, and overall great vets. Thank you for all you’ve done!

So..I am a banefield transfer from the closed one on Airport Rd. My vet that I loved transferred there but I am meeting the other vets and I am very pleased. They went over the top for my baby Rosie and had her feeling all better! They might have gone overkill with her tummy ache but she was back on her feet in hours so I cannot really complain and it was at a decent price. I am an optimum wellness plan member so I do get discounts. UPDATE!!! I have another furbaby, Snape! He is a cat unlike his canine sister and he is on the plan too and he loves the vet techs and the vets there! They keep him all nice and healthy so he can catch the lizards outside and climb on his cat tree.

STAY AWAY! The Pet Wellness Plan they offer is a scam! They will take your money then refuse to provide you with the services it says the plan provides. I have a contract stating that I'm to pay $21.95 a month for 12 months. In return, they are to provide 2 exams per year plus 2 fecals, 1 round of vaccinations and 1 bloodwork (also unlimited office visits, whatever that means). *There were other things listed but we'll just stick to the main bits. We had 1 exam, vaccinations and bloodwork at my cats first appt. When I called with an emergency several months later, I was told I would have to pay out of pocket to have her seen, but then later I got emails telling me she was due another exam and it was free(?) We had another emergency at the end of our plan, which we had paid in full before she was seen. We were told the exam was covered under our plan but we'd have to pay out of pocket for bloodwork, for which I was quoted around $100. They said they could renew our plan early and it would cover the bloodwork they wanted to do. We opted to do that and they had us leave her so they could do the exam and observe her. When we picked her up we had to pay another $85 because the 4 hrs of observation wasn't something covered under her plan. Sadly, my cat died at home the next morning. I was given a phone number to call and cancel the Wellness Plan, which I attempted to do, however, I was told over the phone that cancelling would cost me $263.40, which is exactly what 12 payments of 21.95 comes too. I asked why I was being made to pay out a full contract if we wouldn't ever receive the full amount of services. I was told that because my cat was seen, then I owed the cost for the services they provided, which, according to the grossly inflated invoice was $379.76. (How does $100 turn in to $376?!) I went over the invoice line by line with the woman over the phone and pointed out that the exam should've been covered, as we had been owed 2 under her plan. The other things, like the observation, we had already paid for with the exception being the bloodwork, which I offered to pay. I was told that no, since we opted to renew the plan then we automatically lost whatever services we were owed under the plan we had previously paid out. I said, then I should be owed money back from what we paid, since I didn't receive the full amount of services stated in the contract. They told me they don't do that. I asked if I could transfer the remaining services to our other cat and they, again, told me no, they don't do that. **So, in short, they expect me to pay for the full cost of exams and vaccinations that my cat will never receive because she died.** Also, even tho I have paperwork stating that we were paid up thru the month of Nov, they tried to bill us a second time for Nov. I was told that, again, because we renewed the plan, payments would continue to be automatically debited on the normal date even tho we paid our plan out at the vet's office. I pointed out that that was blatant double dipping for Nov but, again, they didn't appear to care. They told me if I had a problem with the invoice, then to call and request a billing adjustment at the vet's office as they didn't handle that. As of today, I've been unable to get their office manager to return my call. I did request my cats medical records and, after reviewing them and comparing them to the invoice I have, it shows they charged me for services that I explicitly declined in person and over the phone. I've filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and will update this post if anything changes but, as of now, all I can say is that Banfield is a SCAM. Do not bring your pet there under any circumstances. Also, how does a large chain like PetSmart associate with a company with such unethical business practices?

My dog hit its head and is extremely lethargic. I tried to get them to see my dog and they refused to see her because they are too busy. The guy said I have no idea when a dr is going to be out of the room they were in. What a joke. I would have gladly waited but they completed refused us.
