The doctor and staff here do a real good job.

Other Vet's would charge me only to find out they just weren't qualified or comfortable enough. My choice of pet companion is my Ferret. Dr Griffith not only took her in as a patient but saved her life as well. She was less than 2lbs . He removed her cancerous tumor. She recovered amazing & there was no visible Area left . I was so impressed & admired his professionalism & confidence. His staff were super & the charge I simply was taken back.I had my sweet ferret another 5yrs cancer free !

Sorry. Dr. GRIFFITH retired. But, he deserves it. I went there fir 22 years. Different pets

Have been bringing the family pets to Dr. Griffith for over 15 years. The dude is a pro and the staff is fairly friendly.

I called and left voicemails twice on the same day, last week. Still no response. Very unprofessional. My dogs are going elsewhere

I was given the wrong medication, when I returned during normal business hours they were closed

If I could leave a zero star review, I would. If this practice were treated like the animals entrusted to their care, they would no longer be in business, and they have most definitely lost mine and my families. Both my dog, as well as my family member's dog was misdiagnosed and they almost lost their lives. I was told that my dog had yeast in her ears, days later, after getting a second opinion, my dog was diagnosed with a severe bacterial ear infection and undiagnosed pancreatitis. My family member's dog was diagnosed with an eye infection, and after getting a second opinion, their dog had to have his eye completely removed. Luckily, with the help of competent individuals at another practice, both dogs lives were saved. There would have been a very grim outcome had we not gone to someone else. The staff are dismissive and careless, they care about nothing more than the money from your pocket. Save yourself and your pets, avoid this practice.

Brought my dog in for a simple surgery. He had to stay there over night and was left alone without a cone around his neck. He gnawed on the incision which opened his wound and he bled to death.

When I lived in Louisiana I took all my pets here, including my chinchilla, and dogs. Dr. Griffith is very loving!

Very friendly staff. Dr. Griffith was very gentle and thorough with my 7 yr old Male Pomeranian. The last place I took Beaux Tie would take him from me then return when the tests and shots were completed. This was not the case here. I appreciated being able to see the results of the heartworm test. First time I have had a vet use Lidocaine to help numb the skin on my pet prior to giving an injection. Place had a pleasant but not medicinal smell. Has a good variety of pet supplies. Only one dog of at least 7 while I was there barked. Very calming atmosphere. No cats during my visit which was probably a factor in this.

Really helpful, they really care about your pets

My husbands family has used Dr. Griffith since he was a child. Once we got married, we moved to Baton Rouge. We've tried a few other vets. But now I will drive the 30 minutes one way just to go to Dr. Griffith. He is a wonderful veterinarian and he always answers all my questions.

Me and my family have used Dr. Griffith for decades. He is by far the absolute best vet I have ever seen. He is a great person, an outstanding vet, and an absolutely amazing animal lover. We had a Rottweiler that had eaten a box of decon rat poison and another time he cut one of the pads on his foot, and both time we called him at home and he told us how to treat him without having an emergency office visit (one of those times was Christmas Day or Christmas Eve). I always regarded Dr. Griffith as the best vet within 100 miles, but after my experience with a vet's office on Sherwood Forest Blvd yesterday I know without a shadow of a doubt that he definitely is the absolute best vet around. He treats you and your animals with unwavering respect and kindness. He is always straight to the point (and he doesn't beat around the bush). If there is a cheaper way of treating your pet than with prescription drugs he will tell you. He will always explain what is wrong with your pet, and how to treat them. If you don't have enough money right then when it is an emergency, he will work with you and give you a payment plan if need be. Unlike a lot of these so called vets around here he doesn't charge the absolute most that he can. He has always had fair prices. I trust this man so much that I take any and everything he says and suggests as gospel. I will always bring my pets to him, even if I lived in Lake Charles or Houston even. I always refer anyone looking for a vet to him. Anytime someone tells me he is expensive I always tell them that I would rather pay more to him and know it was done correctly than save a couple dollars and not be sure it was done right. I adore Dr. Griffith for all the help he has given myself and to my friends and family. This community will definitely lose a great treasure when he retires.
