Took my baby in last minute due to her not feeling well, they were able to squeeze her in. They were very Thorough and didn’t provide unnecessary treatments in order to save me money. We were evacuated from the hurricane. Would def recommend and bring my baby here if needed again. Thank you to the whole staff y’all were so sweet.

After a not so good experience with a different vet down the road, my boyfriend and I took our dog here to get an eyelid mass checked out. Dr. Kristen was extremely professional and caring, taking the time to walk me through her diagnosis, the surgery process, what to expect, and making sure I completely understood everything. She came to my car herself and did this! (car appointments during covid) On top of that, every single member of staff treated my dog like their own. Y'all, in 11 years I've never seen my dog excited to go to the vet before, but she loves it here. Thank you for taking care of here!

This group of animal lovers and caretakers are second to none! I’ve always brought our pets here since what I believe to be the first year of their existence here in Dutchtown. Dr. Grayson won our pets over instantly and everyone there, doctors, nurses, technicians, etc., have all continued to keep ya coming back. These people can you make the best of choices for you and your pet when it’s time to say your final goodbye. They’ll allow you time to spend with your pet to say the last things you want them to hear. And, they will treat your pet with respect and reverence afterwards. I choose to bury my pets on family land and they made sure she was ready for the journey. The staff at Dutchtown Animal Hospital can help you keep your pets healthy and happy for years to come. Reminders regarding shots and vaccines help you avoid forgetting the important ones. Thanks for all your help with our pets over the years!

Another vet ran $500 in tests to tell us her neck pain and posturing was a gi issue. Took her here, she was diagnosed with ivdd in less than 10 minutes and was given a treatment plan that has her feeling much better.

We needed an appointment on short notice as our usual vet was not available. Everyone at this office was extremely friendly and very professional. We felt right at home. We will be switching to Dutchtown Animal Hospital.

Really pleased with this place. We tried clinic on a whim when we rescued a puppy because it was close to our house. Dr. was amazing and staff very helpful. I love their policy on rescued/shelter pets - they do not charge an initial exam fee...which was a pleasant surprise! Also, very easy and convenient to make appointments...you can usually get in next day! we were so pleased with experience, we began taking our lab Louie there. He went in for a dental this week and they did a great job...I even liked they called the next day to check on him. Great place to take your furbabies!

I can't say enough good things about Dutchtown Animal Hospital. We just went for our second visit and it was amidst the crazy Covid-19 crisis. I did not have an appointment but called and was told to come and they would work us in. I was surprised at how many people were in the parking lot when I got there. I thought I would be there for hours. While I did wait for quite a while, I did not think it was excessive considering the situation. A tech came out to talk with me and take a history. Although I had no appointment, Dr. Louviere agreed to see our boy Beau. She examined him and came out to speak with me about her diagnosis and the and other services I had requested which were then promptly done. From the person that answered the phone promptly and courteously, to the technicians who were very obviously hustling to make sure no one had to wait too long, to the veterinarian who was knowledgeable, compassionate and treated me as a partner in my dog's healthcare--I was beyond pleased with the service & care I received here. They didn't try to convince me to do all sorts of expensive tests which would result in the same outcome. And their prices were very fair & reasonable. I would recommend DAH to anyone and will be a forever client.

I have only had one bad experience with this veterinarian office, and that was with one veterinarian in particular. Besides that it is top tier of vet clinics in Ascension Parish. The vet techs are very welcoming and sweet to their furry patients, and most of the veterinarians are very knowledgeable and helpful.

We moved to the area in January 2020 and shortly thereafter started taking our beloved Portuguese Water dog, Leo, to Dutchtown Animal Hospital. Sadly, Leo got sick in March 2020 and we had to let him go. Dr. Heintz (Senior) was so wonderful during the ordeal. Very communicative, knowledgeable, and compassionate. In September we got a new addition to our family, Takoda, a Golden doodle that has been under the care of Dr. Heintz (Junior) and Dr. Kelly. Both have been wonderful. Very knowledgeable and available to answer questions. The staff is very responsive, professional and friendly. I have not been in the facility but once since going there (COVID) and while it could likely use an update and modernization, it is clean and in a convenient location. We recently had our golden doodle neutered there and the prices are reasonable. I very highly recommend this practice and the veterinarians.

This is the friendliest, most accommodating veterinarian clinic I have had the pleasure of visiting. LOVE this place. There is no other place Iris would rather visit as they take such great care of her and they always put me at ease. Need a vet - this is the best place around.

Staff was courteous and efficient. They seem to truly love their jobs. I did the curbside pickup due to Covid and my dogs checkup was done in half an hour.
