The staff here is always helpful. They truly care about your pet.

They are knowledgeable about bearded dragons. Of witch i have 3! I really feel comfortable going there for their care These are my babies Sam Skitz And Bug... I love them so much!!!

Very friendly staff. I was there for 1st time with my almost 25 year old macaw parrot to get beak filed & claws trimmed (of which I'd been needing to find someone local for a while rather than driving into Baton Rouge and the heavy traffic). Pricing was extremely reasonable. I was VERY impressed and highly pleased with the job done by Dr. Rob Folsom & his assistant. I would have given 5 stars but had to wait in car for an hour, even though I had an appointment. BUT even that would not stop me from returning as some things are simply worth the wait.

This is the absolute best Vet in the area! I drive 20 miles just to go here.

I just adopted a dog and had an emergency. The staff was incredibly personable, comforting and informative. They were so patient with me and my thousands of questions!

Amazing place to take your pets. Dr. Jenna, Dr. Rob, and Dr. Brooke, along with the vet techs and staff truly care about your furry children. They will do everything in their power to help their patients get back to being healthy, as well as taking care and loving your animal when they come in for their yearly checkups. I have four cats, and all of them go to APAH. They are the only clinic and staff I trust with my fur babies, and I am VERY protective of them.

Ridiculous prices and staff rushes you out. I wouldn't recommend this vet

I don't exactly blame the hospital for this but,the COVID protocol they've implemented is a bit frustrating. I am not keen to someone asking me to hand over my dog. If you're gonna make me wear a mask then I should be allowed inside the building when you stick my dog with a needle. Its quite contradictory and foolish.

I took my sweet kitty to be laid to rest there about 3 weeks ago. We got into the room and all seemed OK at first. But, then a squawking, LOUD bird was scheduled the next room over. Don't get me wrong, I love birds, but not when I'm trying to lay my cat to sleep. And, I could tell Tinkertot was uncomfortable. I hate that we stayed there for it. I wish i would have known beforehand that it wouldn't be a peaceful experience. I wish I had the chance to tell the vet, whom, I had never met, (asked to be scheduled with Dr. Brook bc she is incredible, but, upon arrival, realized we wouldn't be seeing Dr. Brook. But, since she's so wonderful, I figured the other vets there would also be just as amazing.) I wish we had gone elsewhere instead. But, the first shot was given before the appt in the next room. I, personally, will never bring my animal babies there again. But I do hope they can make better judgements as far as scheduling for future clients.

I'm not a first ti.e customer of this place and in the past was a real satisfied customer. Well, this visit I went in to pick up my cat. Walked up to the counter, no o ewas there. I heard the receptionist in the back spitting out cuss words like I've never heard a woman speak. It was MF this and M F that along with many more. She finally came up to the counter surprised to see me standing there. Never apologized for her language . Acted like nothing ever happened. After I left I called to talk to the Veterinarian there since that language was un acceptable. He was busy, I left my name and phone # for him to return my call. Never heard from him. Don't think ill go back

They are wonderful with the animales. They never forget the poor little creatures can feel to. And treat tgen lovingly. Like their own pets. It's a real pleasure to deal with vets that can remember those important qualities about the pets.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The vet we saw, Dr. Rob, was amazing. He took his time, answered all my questions, and made sure I had all the information I needed about owning a new puppy. Everyone treated my dog like he was one of theirs. Definitely recommend coming here!

Asked to trim my birds wings so he can’t fly, and get his nails trimmed. I paid $60, over priced already, and they didn’t even do a good job. They cut the nails all the way to the skin, I checked his nail, and they cut it all off!!! They cut my bird finger too, and the guy cut the feathers, and said “he’s not gonna be able to fly” well hope he’s knows, my bird flew away, and supposedly he cut the feathers. I paid $60!!! Just to try and get these simple things done, but no they screwed it up, won’t think about coming back ever again. Thanks to you my bird flew away...

The care for the animals and the service is 2nd to none.

I took my kitten there to get spayed. My kitten was adopted from Caras House and they give a voucher for her to get spayed at this hospital. I looked up reviews and almost all were great so we went for it. This is not our usual hospital. Making the appointment was pretty easy and they called the day before to confirm. I got there in the morning to drop her off. Staff didn’t seem like morning people. The receptionist told me that my kitten would have to get her rabies shot before even asking when she got her last shot, which was actually 2 months before this visit with her real Vet. Surgery went well and my kitten was herself the same night. I noticed that there was some swelling in her belly. Took her back to this hospital to get it checked out. They advised that it may be due to the stitches. Days later they took the stitches out and I asked about the swelling again. They advised that now that the stitches are out it should go down. Days later we took her to her real Vet regarding the swelling and they advised me that she is not swollen, and that it’s her primordial pouch. We never seen her belly shaved and thought it was swollen, but I think the Vet/Hospital that shaved her for her surgery should have known that she wasn’t actually swollen. Very disappointed in that.

So i heard good things about this place and I thought it would be ok I went and got my cat spayed and so I left her there and everything was ok she was tired but it was normal then I notice she refused to eat so I called and they were sort of helpful but obviously The nurse has no idea what she was doing but I put it past me then she started to salivate And shake and she started to pull at her stitches I thought they were suppose to give u a cone to stop this From happening I called worried about my cat and the nurse had no idea why she was salivating and shaking but said it might be the medicine which they never told me the side effects of when I asked to speak to someone who knew she said they were busy I never saw the vet and had no idea what was going on I’m definitely going somewhere else with better costumer service

The staff is horrible. The doc needs to clean house and start over. The attitude is unbelievable I think they should explain the DETAILS to the one paying the bill. And they’re def not morning ppl. And not personable at all. Def looking for another vet.
