Zeus’ Rescues New Orleans, Louisiana

Our adoption experience with Zeus' Rescues was absolutely WONDERFUL! They see you by appointment only, which gave us plenty of time to meet all of the dogs that we were interested in adopting. The facility is very clean & you can tell that the staff love every single one of them. The staff made sure to give us as many details about each dog so that we could make the most informed decision on which one would fit into our family the best. They took their time with us & let us take as much time as we needed with each dog. We took home a beautiful, sweet & loving 2 year old dog named Fredrick & he is perfect! We will be forever grateful to the wonderful people at Zeus for helping us find the newest member of our family. Thanks you Zeus' Rescues!!!

MY VERY FIRST PET ADOPTION EXPERIENCE WITH ZEUS' RESCUES WAS BEAUTIFUL... I ENJOYED EVERY MINUTE OF MY VISIT. THE STAFF IS VERY HELPFUL, FRIENDLY AND ATTENTIVE. AND I AM IN LOVE WITH MY NEW BABY????BOY "BEAU"!

I have a friend who was in the adoption process of a cute black puppy. My friend has been struggling with alcohol use and was unable to care for the animal. My friend called me and asked if I could help him decide on what to do with the puppy. We concluded that the best thing to do was to return him to Zeus' Place. We arrived at the facility. There were 2 employees outside. One employee was behind the fence nearest the door talking to a family. The other outside of the fence. The employee outside of the fence walked by with no greeting. I asked if we could just walk in. I had never been there before. The employee behind the fence walked over to us and asked what we needed. I said to her that my friend needed to return the dog. She was extremely rude. She opened the gate and asked my friend if the veterinarian said that it was ok to walk the puppy (he was on a leash). My friend said "yes". She said "I don't think he did " slammed the gate and walked away leaving us standing there with confused and humiliated looks on our faces My friend is going through a difficult time and returning the puppy was not easy. That employee (young woman) made it worse. I hope Zeus' place can be more professional and courteous to others than they were to us. I will avoid this establishment moving forward and you should too. I do hope this will change.

I had to surrender my dog, sadly, after the storm due to poor living conditions for the dog and owners. When bringing her in, the employees showed ZERO remorse, and is FALSELY accusing me of breeding the dog when she has always been around ONLY female dogs and always in a confined space with supervision. No questions were asked and My father and I were forcefully put out of the establishment.

ENTITLED! RUDE! DISMISSIVE! ARROGANT! and she didn't even tell me how the process works. Be Warned. Beware.

They were very nice and understanding. They arranged to let my daughter pick up a kennel-trap(?) to try to catch my cat that escaped while I was staying with my daughter after the storm..I thank them very much!

The receptionist/ person that answered the phone was very short patience and annoyed when I was asking and trying to get information from her concerning the connection to the spca and the adoption process.

They take great care of the rescues, helpful staff if you are looking to foster or adopt. My FAVORITE is being able to walk the dogs. The dogs really enjoy it eve if it's just a 5 min walk. ????

DO NOT BRING YOUR PET HERE! DO NOT BRING STRAY PETS HERE! IF YOU ARE OF COLOR THEY WILL ADOPT OUT YOUR DOG AND REFUSE TO GIVE BACK YOUR PET EVEN WITH DOCUMENTATION!

All the employees were extremely helpful in answering my questions and ensuring that I adopted just the right dog for me.
