I have been using Maple Small Animal Clinic since just after Katrina. They have always treated my numerous pets with professionalism and kindness. Some of the pets have passed, but all have lived their best and longest lives because of their care Maple. I moved to Slidell 6 years ago, and was persisting for a friend. When bringing a cat in for a checkup, Dr. Hill recognized me even while wearing a mask. Dr. Hill is the best, and the entire staff is top notch. Definitely recommend.

Dr. Brasher and all of the supportive staff have been truly wonderful for our 2 boy dogs! Waiting in the car rather than going in isn't the most fun but there is nothing missing from prompt car pick up to Dr. Brasher coming out to spend time reviewing the visit. She has always presented me information with all options and has never pressured me into any decision. This is very important. I feel like Veterinarian care is as complicated to the average pet-parent as a car mechanics's diagnosis. We have to trust in their recommendations. I feel 100% confident that my babies are in the right hands.

My dog loves this veterinary clinic! I'll start there. The staff are all warm and welcoming and LOVING towards their clients and clients' owners! I definitely recommend this location for your furry loved ones!

I love MSAC and Dr. Brasher. Everyone is so knowledgeable and accommodating and they have an amazing range of services. I love that they offer preventative to emergency care so that if my dog had an emergency, he would be cared for by vets that know him/ his history personally. They offer incredible advice/ compassion and really walk you through the treatment decision making process without moralizing or shaming you into one decision over another.

They are wonderful, really sensitive and caring. I love them there.

A bit expensive but you get what you pay for. Great attention to detail and take their time with owners to answer all questions and concerns. My dog doesn’t fear going to the vet here.

Extremely caring staff. Dr. Emily was very patient with us. My high-strung cat was seen and examined w/o having to be sedated as she often had to be in other establishments. This definitely put my mind at ease about returning w my cat.

This place is amazing! My dog has had seizures ever since he was a puppy and I was super nervous that I was going to have to put him down because his seizures kept getting longer and more frequent throughout the day. Dr. Schmidt was phenomenal! She was kind, looking for the best quality of life for myself and my dog, and willing to work with me no matter how long it took. She helped us figure out the right medication regimen and my dog has been seizure free for over a year! I know this happy ending won’t happen for everyone but I appreciate the patience and kindness that everyone at this vet showed me and my dog for every visit! I cannot thank you guys enough!

Kind and caring. They work with people who can't pay at once

Would not take my pets to any other vet. I trust the entire staff. Our "older" kitties were well cared for until they past. Dr. Emily and the staff were so caring after we lost them. We recently adopted two kittens and the first call I made was to Maple Small Animal to get these guys checked out. Unfortunately, we lost one after only 10 days but the other is doing great. I thank Dr. Schimdt and the staff for the care they gave little Rumbleteazer - they all tried to help him but it wasn't meant to be. Mungojerrie will soon get a brother or sister to play with and the when he does the first stop will be at Maple Small Animal. I've lived in many areas with a lot of pets but no place is as friendly and loving as the staff at Maple Small Animal. It's the best place in NOLA for your pets!

Dr. Hill did a phenomenal job caring for my cat during his dental assessment. He's calm, patient, and very thorough in his treatments. His Technician, Nancy was a pleasure, as well; very kind and compassionate towards my pet. As someone who is typically more nervous than my pet when going to the Doctor, I left relieved knowing my cat was well taken care of by Dr. Hill & Nancy. Wouldn't take my animal anywhere else.
