The staff was very professional and organized.

I took my little cat Binks in because he wasn’t feeling well. The wonderful vet was able to find out that he had uti, and they were able to help him and make him feel better. The prices here are affordable and the give great discounts. You would to bring your pets here for a check up and get there needs meet.

The staff was friendly and courteous, felt the pricing was fair the only problem was We had a 230 pm appointment and didn't see the Dr. Until 315 pm they were understaffed at the time. Other than that I would definitely recommend Thrive Affordable Vet Care

Thrive has been such a huge help for me and my little guy. My normal vet is great but further away and with Thrive plus, I can book a free appointment anytime I need. It’s convenient, and the staff have been wonderful. Highly recommend.

The staff and providers are always amazing each and every time I bring my baby Asher for his visit. They listen and are very attentive to all of my concerns and needs when he is ill. I've been going there for 2 years and have never had a bad experience. Please keep up the amazing work and care for our little fur babies.

Never in my life have I dealt with such rude people . Unprofessional, did not help at all, details of my dog were incorrect on what was sent to the WRONG email including date of birth. I’m 1200 miles away and my poor dog cannot walk due to a Simple record that they never updated so The Petco here cannot help my dog. If that’s the way they treat and speak to Customers in need of help, I’m glad I never left my dog under their care. THRIVE in Metairie has no compassion for my dog Or her situation. . Do not suggest them At all.

This is my second visit to Thrive for my puppy. They are very professional and friendly. There is no rush through the visit, the Vet and the Assistant take their time, explain everything they are doing and answer all of my questions. The prices are very reasonable. I trust this Team and you will too.

Not the personalized vet care I would prefer but very reasonably priced and gets the job done. I trust their vets to do whatever necessary for my dog.

I came to thrive very upset and irate and Kelly was the only person that understood my frustration it’s very hard to fine customer service like this. She acts as if she really cares about your concern. I’m so grateful for Kelly thank u so much

I’ve recently had my cat visit this place. She was very sick and they gave her many medicines to go home with I spent over $200 on her medication. They also gave her a vaccine shot and maybe 6 hrs later she died in her cage. When I called up to tell the doctor what happened all I could get was an “I’m sorry that happen” and also to get her cremated which she mentioned would “cost money for them to do” ,like I haven’t spent money with them already & my cat died in the process. This was so unprofessional & heartless of them. Now I don’t have my pet anymore and they kept my money that they made off her which is ridiculous !!

Left me sitting in a room waiting on the vet and the receptionist must have forgotten about me because we saw three other pets go to the back to be seen by the vet. We had a 1:45 appointment and just decided to leave at 2:33 smh

My teacup poodle went in for annual check up and vaccines.The staff was very friendly and helpful. The check up was quick and they handled my baby with care! The doctor was super informative and addressed all my health concerns with for my dog. I was able to get her medication while i was there as well. I love this place and I will continue to take my dog here.

Usually have good experiences here with Dr. Stafford but my dog saw a different doctor for his checkup and she was not professional at all nor the receptionist. Will not be returning unless I’m allowed to sit in the room with him, because I do not feel that my dog was properly examined or cared for. I was also charged $90 for a heart worm test (so much for affordable) even though my dog has been on prevention his whole life and then was not even prescribed any medication. I’ve called twice about it and still have not been issued the meds. Ridiculous

They are the best. They treat my baby Buddy with love and care. DR. STARFFORD SHE WAS SO KIND AND VERY HELPFUL WITH HIS TREATMENT. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. MY BABY FEELS BETTER. AND THE STAFF ARE THE BEST. LOVE THIS PLACE.

They literally saved my dogs life. I have 4 dogs and they have all been taken care of by this staff and I don’t plan on taking them anywhere else. Love Thrive Plus. Love that I can schedule online. Everyone is so knowledgeable and understanding. I went in for monthly medicine and the Wonder Woman at the front desk helped me figure out my dog had an immediate life threatening condition and they saved her life this afternoon. ♥️

My recent visit to Thrive Affordable Vet Care for my pet’s immunization and exam was great! All the staff were professional, helpful, kind and thorough in providing excellent, friendly care. Danielle did a wonderful job scheduling the appointment and answering my questions. Due to an unforeseen circumstance, the appointment needed to be rescheduled and Karleen was very accommodating and did an outstanding job checking my dog in and out and keeping things running promptly. Dr. Raaphorst, Elise and Crystal did a phenomenal job taking care of my dog for the immunization and head-to-tail exam. The immunization and exam went well, except my dog was experiencing dandruff. I’m thankful for Dr. Raaphorst’s thoroughness, knowledge and recommendation. The dandruff was eliminated quickly. I also appreciated having all my questions answered and receiving the detailed immunization certificate and helpful vaccine considerations’ handout. We just had freezing weather in the 20’s and our yard had dead grass that turned to thatch. As soon as warm enough for my dog to play in the yard, she had rolled in the thatch as rolling around on her back in our yard is fun for her. Tiny pieces of thatch were all in her fur. She is black and looked black and white speckled She shook a lot off, and I wiped her off but had not bathed her yet. We raked up the thatch as soon as weather permitted. I think between the thatch and a lot of heat in the house that her skin possibly became dry or slight reaction as white flakes in her black fur is not normal. I am glad I enrolled my pet in the Thrive Plus Membership, as it is so beneficial and affordable. All the veterinarians and staff have been wonderful! It costs $10 a month and provides unlimited exams, benefits and discounts. You also receive discounts for Petco training and grooming. The only cost for this visit was for the immunization at a discounted price. Thrive and Petco truly are a blessing to us. I’ve learned so much. My dog and I greatly enjoyed being enrolled in Petco’s positive training classes and my dog passed levels 1 and 2 and the AKC’s Canine Good Citizen test. It is so convenient that Thrive is in same building as Petco. I’m ever thankful for Petco and Thrive for blessing our lives and the excellent care by people who are professional, knowledgeable, caring and create a welcoming atmosphere.

I've been only once with my new pup and they really did a great job. They took time to speak with me and answer any questions I had. Was very clean and mostly fast service. The price was great. I payed a lot less then I expected to pay. Staff was very nice and friendly. I will continue to bring my dog there.

They were amazing with our two dogs Ralph and Yuki! Our normally shy and timid Yuki absolutely loved them! And our giant baby Ralph loved all the attention he got. Thank you for taking great care of them before our big move!

I really required veterinary service during the pandemic. The whole process was super easy from making the appointment, the check in process, communication of my pet and payment. Ashley, the tech was great! She was very personable and handled my delicate tempered fur baby like a pro. Thanks for the great care and service!
