They're helpful and polite here, but the store isn't as well stocked and organized as the Metairie - Vets location.

Jefferson Feed is a great alternative to the big box pet stores in the city. Friendly, knowledgeable staff and a fair amount of garden supplies.

The only place I can find litter that is non toxic for a rabbit. So much better than petco and petsmart. Much higher quality hays and pellets as well

Nick is the man! I work at another pet store and whenever my bearded dragon customers complain about crickets I'm sending them here for those dubia roaches. THEY ARE Lifesavers for Beardie owners.

Needs a more diverse staff. The city is 60% Black. This should be reflected. The animal food is a bit pricey. The mulch is on par with home depot. They are practicing social distancing as they should.

The only place to go for your pet and I pick up bags of soil and plants! Zach is something off the Discovery channel btw. They keep my cat food stocked which Chris from JFM got Kiki the spoiled cat, hooked on $13.95 now we have to order it because apparently it’s not a popular flavor. I save 10% for special ordering 6 bags with them though. It’s the Raw chicken patties by Vital Essential. My cat has a special meow for it and won’t eat an of the other flavors;duck, turkey, rabbit. We’ve tried them all! Again, Something else I learned from Jefferson feed company....”cats once they decide on a particular food as an adult cat they become hooked and they won’t eat anything else it’s a texture thing, flavor thing, done and done!” Fan-freakintastic! We went from NewTrish Rachel Ray $4.69 a small bag which he still eats, in a feeder on the side. But Heaven help us if he does not have breakfast and a dinner of that chicken patty!

I go for my cat stuff as well as plants from stone to time. I like the staff, clean store and the array of pet supplies!

Small compared to some of their other stores that I've been to but good selection of quality pet food. Friendly and helpful staff, I will definitely return next time I feel like I need to buy my animals' affection.

Definitely a place you wanna spend your money! The ladies there were so kind to let us bring our pups in and give them treats! One staff member even sat on the floor and helped us try on new harnesses, so kind and caring for the animals and welcoming to the customers. Amen for Jefferson Feed! ????????
