If you ever have the unfortunate to need ER services for you fur babies look no further. Great staff, except one Vet will find her name an update review.

Went for ultrasound. Good to deal with and fast service.

Unfortunately my dog Hans was not feeling well, so I decided to bring him to MedVet and they were great... fantastic job treated him quickly and they were all so very kind to me and my dog...Great doctors and staff.

Called ahead w/3 dogs I could not carry in as I walk w,/a cane. Was met outside w/at least 3 or 4 techs to help. Had to wait in my car at least 3 hours; they allow no no one inside. Asked careful questions of me to ascertain the problem and dispensed meds with written instructions.

They do what they can, extremely busy when I went, got great service even if it took a little long,can't help emergencies but better communication with the doctor would be appreciated I know they are probably way busy trying to save other animals, sometimes you get tired of talking to nurses about the dogs prognosis even if they are extremely helpful and nice.

Expensive but we received outstanding care

We went to MedVet New Orleans tonight with our miniature dachshund who is having puppies. She had four puppies on her own and was having trouble with the fifth so we brought her there for some help. The staff took her back immediately and helped deliver the fifth puppy and also did an ultrasound to confirm there were no more puppies to come. It was a great experience I would highly recommend them. Mama and babies are doing great! Thanks for going above and beyond to help us.

Above and beyond service! The care was extraordinary. Bravo!

Very big, clean and modern facility. Well staffed and open 24 hours. Somewhat pricey though...

I went from Pensacola Florida to Medvet NO and I had a great experience. Dr. Daily and Ariel, the tech, were very kind, professional and their service didn't take all day. Dr. Daily showed true care and empathy for my dog, Doberman Morpheus and the entire case. I would definitely recommend. It was pricey but worth it.

I would give this place zero stars if I could. Incompetence is an understatement. Dr. Kenny Arceneaux is the only one I would trust. Not sure he is even there anymore. He saved my pet who was misdiagnosed by the so called critical care specialist vet who kept pumping my dog's weak body with the wrong meds. He kept him for weeks running up the bill until I requested another vet. My dog was literally dying because of the critical care specialist incompetence. He is horrible!!! Also, they have poor after care of where the pets are kept. Bad news. Horrible place!!! This is the second time we have used MedVet for our dog Archie. This last time he had to stay in the ICU. We are very happy with the care he received. They were very attentive and kept us updated. We could not ask for better care. Thank you Dr Jackson, Dr Ralph and all of the care staff. You guys are the best!

After 17 years, sadly, we had to end the life of our beloved chihuahua. She could no longer walk, drink or eat on her own. The staff at Medvet were very supportive and professional. I would recommend their services to anyone.

Great emergency vet clinic! The doctor took as much time as I needed explaning everything I needed to know about my dog. Great care!

Was their with my dachshund she was dieing told the vet I made a promise to her she'd go at home (had her from a new born) lady fought me tooth and nail and was ugly about it never again

They get you there and give you a price and then give you another price at the end. This has happened 3 times on my one pet within 1 week. You have to keep calling for records and invoices. Call center doesn't have a clue on anything and they give prices that are wayyy off also. I wouldn't go there every again.

Great vets, super high prices and recently they are taking hours to see animals. Last time I took my pet we waited 6 hours to be seen. If she wasn't bleeding and in pain from am abscess we would have waited to see our vet the next day.

They took excellent care of my dog over the weekend, who unfortunately needed emergency surgery Saturday night. The doctors and staff were easy to get in touch with and open to discussing my pup anytime of day or night. My dog was released Monday into my other vet's care and is now home and on the road to recovery.

Unfortunately the only time I've gone is because of an animal being ready to leave earth. That being said, they make everything amazing in such a hard time. So friendly and compassionate. The rooms you go into to say goodbye are welcoming. I HOPE I never have to use them again, but I'm grateful for them and their kindness.

I don’t know what we would do without MedVet. They have been wonderful taking care of our 2 Shih Tzus. They diagnosed Nick with cancer and extended Nick’s life with 2 good years. Then Holly got an immune disease, and they have given her 2 good years so far! Dr. Ralph and the whole staff have been amazing. Thank you for always being there for us! Donna

I cannot thank the doctors and staff at MedVet enough. Sadly, my Emmy Lou developed cancer and her time was cut short. The folks at MedVet helped extend her time with me several weeks and gave me the honest and sincere guidance I needed to accept my loss. Honestly, I can’t express my gratitude to them enough. Thank you.

Doctor Brooks was so helpful and really took the time to explain options my pet had. NECESSARY treatments were considered. Doc was very specific and honest about treatment. Thank goodness for that. We are seniors and being cost effective with our monies is important. Thankfully my dog did not require serious treatment. Polite and professional staff. My only concern was the wait time. Please be advised this is an emergency facility and major cases will be handled first just as in a human ER. THANK YOU TO ALL WHO TOOK CARE OF MY LITTLE HAIRY BABY.????

I never post Google reviews but the service and care I just received from the MedVet NOLA Team deserves much compliment. Their care for not only my dog but for me was like I was a part of their family. Dr. Jackson took the time to thoroughly explain my dogs condition, recovery time, restrictions, warning signs, etc and made me feel comfortable bringing my dog back if I felt conditions got worse. I hope to never have another emergency situation with my dog; but, if I do, MedVet of NOLA will be my first choice for care!

My dog was critical when I arrived. They took him from me immediately to start caring for him. The staff was awesome. He passed away peacefully without intervention. The staff was extremely comforting to us as we grieved.

Our journey with Medvet started just over 2 years ago when I was referred there from my vet. They diagnosed my Apollo with dilated cardiomyopathy and CHF. He spent one night in the ICU and I could not have been happier with the care he received. Two weeks ago, we had to say goodbye to our baby. The staff was very compassionate with him and us. If that wasn’t enough, the care package we received with Apollo’s ashes was so heart felt. They truly made such a heart shattering time more peaceful.
