If I could give 10 stars I would. Everyone is so kind and friendly. The handling and the care that was given to Jill during her visit with Dr. Miller was extraordinary!!! It means so much tp see my little girl was in good hands! There is nothing that I would change. I would highly recommend Cat Hospital of Metairie.

We just moved to the area recently and used this facility to board our cats for 5 days, we made arrangements to pick them up on a Sunday and were told by the woman at the desk that that was fine (despite the office being closed on Sundays), we even set a specific time and she said something like “that’s fine we just need a specific time to make sure someone is here.” Our paperwork also specified that we would be picking the cats up on a Sunday and no one mentioned that that wasn’t ok. We arrived at the specific time to get our cats and no one was here, no one answered or returned our multiple phone calls or emails. I called the next morning at 8am and was told they aren’t open and can’t do pick ups on Sundays…. Wow, not according to the woman at the front desk…. They also said we couldn’t pick up our cats until the afternoon because the vet needs to do another exam as part of their policy. This is something that was not discussed with us at all despite the cats JUST having had an intake exam with them five days ago prior to boarding. I feel like I’m being scammed and getting charged for an extra two days and an extra vet exam for no reason. Had a horrible experience with this place and won’t be coming back. Update: they apologized for the mistake and didn’t charge us.

Dr Karen is wonderful. She took excellent care of my big baby and gave me lots of information. I was a nervous wreck but Mattie and Nicole was alway very kind and understanding and most important patient, with me every time I called (which was everyday). Nurse Ashley always called me back and when I was unsure about something she took the time to explain everything to me. I will be bringing my other 2 babies there for their check ups soon. Again thank y’all so much!!!!! ???? P.S. the price wasn’t bad either. I have paid a lot more for a lot less. I highly recommend this place…..

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Dr. Karen Miller is the best most intuitive and empathetic veterinarian on the planet. Her expertise is second to none. She has a lovely way of explaining things in a relatable manner so that pet owners learn how to understand what is happening to their pets and better care for them. We love her, and her staff is an example of her care and professionalism.

You can tell these ladies truly love kitties and what to see your baby live a long healthy life. God Bless the Cat Hospital.

These folks are wonderful! My cat, “Kitty,” has stomatitis, and received some questionable treatment elsewhere. Dr Miller and her team have been so helpful with Kitty’s treatment and care. She recently had dental surgery and Dr. Miller took a conservative approach, which actually saved me significant money when it came to the bill. I’m confident in Dr. Miller’s ability and trust her recommendation for my girl’s care. Finally, the staff here is kind and attentive. I’m grateful for this team, and the good work they do for the community.

I moved to New Orleans in July, and the staff at CHoM made the transition to a new vet seamless. I feel confident my cats’ health is in great hands here. On their first visit to the office the staff was very thorough in the history of my younger cat, as she has asthma. They went above what I expected and seemed genuinely interested in finding the best treatment for her and made sure other diagnoses weren’t missed. Overall, I am happy with the care my animals have received from them so far!

I was recommended by a mobile vet, and haven’t had the best experience at other vet offices for the past few years. So, I was pretty terrified to bring Ollie in, especially knowing he could have some serious issues. Dr. Miller and the staff were amazing. It was clear how much they all love cats, which that alone was extremely comforting. Dr. Miller was so great at explaining all of Ollie’s issues and was so patient in answering all of my questions (I had a lot). I just felt like we were both being taken care of. Ollie has a lot of work that needs to be done, and for the first time in 6 years, I feel confident in knowing he’ll be well taken care of.

I love this place. Only place I ever trust with my baby. I think the decor is super cute and they have office cats that hang out and get petted. All the staff is super nice and helpful- and they do the utmost to make your kitty comfortable while making sure they’re healthy. I recommend this vet for all kitty lovers.

Dr.Perkins and the entire staff at the Cat Hospital of Metairie are the best! I have a cat who becomes very upset at the vets office yet they manage to provide a calm, quiet atmosphere and the best care. I never feel rushed - my questions are always fully answered. Dr.Perkins takes her time explaining exam findings or procedures in detail and answers any questions I have. I have been brining my cats here for over 5 years and will continue to do so! Highly recommend!

Our cat became very ill and they took care of him immediately, even though he was a new patient. The vet called us and talked over every little thing, explained it all. The staff were so helpful, efficient, and courteous. Honestly everything they did for us was beyond expectations. This place is the BEST.

The Cat Hospital of Metairie is, and always has been, the best veterinary care I could ever hope to receive for my beloved furbabies. Dr. Miller is kind, compassionate and so very knowledgeable and thorough, and Staff, including Nicole, Marcella, Lauren & Mikayla, are the kindest people.

This experience was so phenomenal, I cant think of a way to top it. Thank you for caring so much about these little foster kittens. They will live a stronger, happier and healthier life because of your care!!

Very friendly and professional getting my cat's shots up to date along with blood work to see how she is progressing as a 15 year old cat. Then my cat was boreder for 3 nights while I went on a minni vacation????????????????

Everything was fine. The staff is nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. The veterinarian personally contacted me to discuss my cat's issue, and that was appreciated. The waiting area is very clean and organized. It's very evident that everyone at the Vet's office loves cats. Thank you.

Dr. Perkins is simply the best. I travel for my job and my senior kitty suddenly became ill. The hospital got us in that afternoon as a new patient. The hospital is very small and quiet. There are no barking dogs which makes the environment peaceful. Bloodwork is done on sight so there is no waiting! Within 20 minutes I had a diagnosis and plan. All my questions were answered and they made sure I understood absolutely everything. Dr. Perkins LISTENS. She makes direct eye contact with you while you speak. She is also the first veterinarian who did not make me feel like I needed to do tons of outrageous tests. All procedures were done in the exam room with me present and that is something I appreciate. If I didn't have to move around for work, Cat Hospital of Metairie would be the only place I would take my cats!

As long as I live in NOLA Dr Perkins and her staff will be the only vets that care for my fur baby.
