My boy got sick and they were able to take him same day. Friendly staff and great vets and techs 10/10

Dr Vaccarro is a champion among mere mortals. He has given our animals excellent care and gotten us in and out efficiently to sooth their anxieties.

I love MSAH, especially the Freret location. Dr. Joe is awesome and clearly loves his job and the pups he takes care of. The front office staff is great too, and always willing to help out or check with the vet with any questions or concerns. Great people!

Great vet with a great doctor

Dr. Joe did great with my dog! She's a very large and usually terrified German Shepherd; however, this vet visit went as smoothly as I could've ever dreamed of. The vet assistance and Dr. Joe were gentle and kept her calm the entire time. Overall great experience!

The best I love it the handle my baby with care

Dr. Joe, Karl, and Kelsey are exceptional professionals and took (and are taking) such great care of my little one. I am working with them after adopting through Zeus' Rescue, and after Chani (Chah-nee) being tested heartworm positive. I rest better knowing she's in good hands.

Very expensive. Sent home a very deceptive letter regarding mail order pharmacies. The pharmacy we were using was a licensed pharmacy in upstate ny. It would appear the deception has a profit motive.

The people are friendly, and know their job! They even have an office cat!!

You won't go wrong with Dr Joe. Drop dead brilliant and practical. Everything you want in a vet.

My cat is hard to please, but he loved everyone at MSAH. Dr. Joe was great and very helpful as was their groomer. She did an amazing job with him and didn’t even have to sedate him. We left both feeling very happy. Prices are reasonable and they will tell you everything up front which I appreciated. If you’re searching for a small dependable/personable vet clinic, look no further.

Dr. Vaccaro came highly recommended to me and I was not disappointed. He was thorough and wonderful with my dogs. I am so thankful to Dr. Vaccaro for finding a problem with Hope that was missed by our previous vet. Evidently, she has been suffering from the condition for some time. Dr. Vaccaro called to check on her the next day and again several days later to make sure she was doing better. She is doing great. LOVE my new Vet!!!

They have treated our young dog since we adopted and have been great. Appointments are kept on schedule, the staff is wonderful. They recently had to operate on a terrible bowel obstruction that required almost a week of hospitalization and we're great throughout, kept us informed and facilitated visits every day, even on Mardi Gras. Can't recommend enough.

I've been with the same vet for 10 years and it was hard for us to go elsewhere, but a friend recommended them, they're close by and got us in the same day so I took the plunge and I am so satisfied with the level of service that I am probably going to be switching. You could clearly tell the doctor was highly experienced by him mannerism.

Best veterinarian experience I've ever had. The team is very personable, knowledgeable, and quick to lend a hand. They do a great job taking care of my nervous pup. When I lost my other dog they were very sympathetic, gave recommendations on the next steps, gave us a follow up call to check on us, and mailed a condolence card to our home. I appreciate everything they do and highly recommend their services.

Our three dogs get great care from MSAH. From regular checkups to a recent tangle with a wasp. Staff is friendly and they have emergency hours. Best vet we've had in New Orleans.

Took my cat Tiny there who was not eating, walking wobbly, and very lethargic for a second opinion. Dr. Joe diagnosed her. A few hours later Tiny looks and feels so much better. Thanks! MSAH will be my vet from now own. Sorry previous vet.

Dr. Joe is very good with animals. Excellent vet and employee services. My dog is a handful and everything went smoothly. I am happy and pleased with my decision. Will go no place else.
