Northshore Animal Hospital Mandeville, Louisiana

This veterinary hospital is the best I've been to in the past 50 years. I have several cats, all of which are treated with the best of care each time I visit the clinic. I am extremely happy that I followed Dr. Martina Mahley to that facility when she left her previous employment. She is the best! I travel 35 minutes gladly each time I need help with a cat. In addition, all staff are always courteous, kind and professional, and they manage to fit me in when there is an urgency.

We had a great experience with NAH.. they were very friendly and caring to our pet. I can't thank them enough.

Had to get eye. dropss my normal vet was out was charged $40 for drops that my vet charges $20...at online vetsupply they are $9 delivered what a rip off...really like primary Dr. but switched as he only works a short schedule and other vets were non responsive and not through...I use Premier and Dr Hemmer is great

We've been bringing our dogs to Dr. Wayne and company for about 10 years now. The level of care they provide is great. Unfortunately, we've moved away but, if we find ourselves living in the area again, we'll definitely go back there.

Hello all. My name is James and I recently moved to Mandeville. My beloved dog/friend/family member Gracie was struggling with cancer and epilepsy. There was no cure and I had resigned to riding out the bad days and providing her with as much love and comfort as I could and appreciating the good days for whatever time we had left. Sadly, 3 days ago, it had become painfully obvious that keeping Gracie alive was selfish and I had to let her go, but I had not established a relationship with a local vet yet and didn't know who to call. Northshore AH was the nearest vet clinic to my house, so I gave them a call to discuss my options. They were very kind and helpful by phone. They were also able to see me that afternoon nd helped me through what was a very difficult and emotional time. Every single member of the staff was kind, empathetic and sensitive, even when I couldn't even speak with tears running down my face. I hope each member of that incredible team reads this review and understands 1. the work they do is important, 2. that they were all amazing and 3. that I personally truly appreciated all of them and their care during such a sad, emotional and painful time. Thank you. I have another dog (Gracie's twin sister Greta) and you can bet that NSAH will be where we come for her care in the future.

Very caring staff, have used them for all our animals. I live in Franklin, but will drive the distance to go to Northshore. Great service!

The care and attention here is amazing. We are so happy to have found a place we can trust and feel comfortable taking our fur babies to. They're also the only place in town that would see us immediately when we had an emergency.

Had ear hematoma needed surgery completely healed and back to playing in the yard less than two weeks. Can't thank them enough!!

Years ago my dog was in a very critical condition, every vet on the northshore refused to even look at Athena without spending 800$ for an ultrasound. The folks at Northshore Animal Hospital were the last ones on my list to call. They immediately told me to bring her in. Upon arriving the vet who looked at her took about 10 minutes to make a diagnosis and took her to the back to start surgery. Not only did he save my dogs life but the total bill was incredibly reasonable. These people care about pets over profit and it truly shows. Even after moving to New Orleans I refuse to see any other vet. The customer service and care that Northshore Animal Hospital provides is unrivaled by anyone. I've always had a good experience with the Doctors and staff at Northshore. They have been consistently straight forward, understanding, and supportive.

These are the best Vets and reasonable prices I have ever found

They sent us away saying hamsters are exotic pets but gave us a number to an exotic pet vet who quoted $60 to look at a tiny hamster smaller than the palm of a child's hand. We only paid $15 for the tiny hamster. Do people in St Tammany really pay these ridiculous prices for their pets?!?

We found this veterinary clinic a few years ago after using the Humane Society for years. Going on vacation and our Gia needed updated shots before we could board her. We decided to try a new vet because we were getting frustrated with the Humane Society (as all they ever did is send us to MedVet). This new vet offers the special food and snack Gia can eat for a reasonable price and can usually fit us in pretty quickly. Gia was boarded there for one of our vacations and was well cared for. We now have a new family vet!

I drive 45 minutes to take my pets to Dr. Wayne, even though many vets are closer. Even though he is young, he is an "old time doctor", combining knowledge with a true love of animals.

These guys are awesome. They are very caring with the pets as well as the owners.

I am currently taking my second family member to here for our needs whenever needed. They took such GREAT care of my first puppy...Just had to bring my second one when we got him. Love the staff and doctor. Could not ask for better people.

Northshore Animal Hospital’s staff are so kind and compassionate. They tried to find out what was ailing our poor old man pup and though they couldn’t test him there and we had to take him to the emergency vet, they were so very helpful with his after care. They tried to help us find the least expensive meds and informed us of helpful foods and supplements to help him get better. Though he eventually succumbed to the disease, everyone was so compassionate and caring when it was time to let him go. They sent a card after and told us how loved our old man was. So sweet. I wouldn’t take my pets anywhere else.

Staff is friendly and location is convenient even if the prices are on the high side
