I’ve had lots of vets over the years in nola, BR, and north shore areas and Monroe St Animal Hospital is by far the best. Reasonable prices, expert care, and truly caring staff and service all around. This is the only place I trust to treat my pets like their own.

I love Dr. Alissa, Dr. Paige and the whole team at Monroe Street Animal Hospital. I have been seeing Dr. Alissa for many years and I always trust her knowledge and advice and know that she cares about my pets just as much as I do.

Going to a new vet can be stressful for pet parents. My cat Banshee had her first visit with Dr Paige today and Pooka the Opossum went as well for a meet and greet. I am THRILLED with Dr Paige! She is warm and compassionate, professional, and allows for dialog instead of talking *at* a pet parent. I'm so happy with the service, thank you guys!

Love our vet, Dr. Paige! Wonderful with our 4 year old rescue dog. Very kind and caring. When we call with a question or problem she'll discuss the issue so we know whether or not she needs to come in. Drop off protocol during COVID 19. Staff is helpful and very friendly!

I called this place after my dog ate raisins. They kind of blew me off, didn’t see it as a big deal, and told me I could induce vomiting at home if I wanted to. I did what they said to induce vomiting (it didn’t work). Listening to them wasted precious time I could have spent getting my dog real care. FOUR other vets agreed that he needed to be hospitalized because of the circumstances.

Everyone here cares so greatly for their dogs and cats. From experience I've always trusted Dr. Alyssa Whitney with my pets since before Monroe Street Vet was here. I know she'll do whatever it takes. I love this clinic.

Monroe Street Vet is amazing and Dr. Paige Massey is the best. She is a very talented, caring and smart vet. The fees are reasonable while quality of care is truly top notch. The staff are all friendly, remember my dogs and always ask about how they are doing. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Paige and Monroe St. Vet for everything from routine care to complex health issues!!

As always, these people are the kindest, gentlest, AND most thorough furry caretakers EVER!!! Very sensitive to my baby's needs, while placating me. They are very astute and they quickly figured out what was going on with my Pearl. They are conservative in treatment and discussed pros & cons before initiating treatments & tests. Love them!

Dr. Alissa Whitney has been our veterinarian since she's been a veterinarian. We love her. She's very compassionate, very educated, and very down to Earth. Our crew is very comfortable with her, as am I (a paranoid anxious dog mom). Dr. Alissa is really understanding. There was no other choice in my mind: we follow her and her journey. We met Dr. Paige Massey a few years back when she joined our vet office where Dr. Alissa practiced. She is loving and patient with our babies and really dedicated to her furry clients. Dr. Paige is a great doctor. These ladies compliment each other well and we will follow them wherever they go. And their new spot is awesome!
