Love Dr. Gingles. He is honest and caring. He's taken care of my fur babies for almost 30 years and they all had long happy lives. He treated my rescue pekingese for heartworms when she was about a year old and she lived to be 15.

My neighbor recommended bringing my little Puddles to Dr. Gingle, she said she brought her little dog to him and not only did he take very good care of your pet, gives accurate diagnosis, but will put your mind at ease too. I have to admit when I first took Puddles in for a diagnosis, I was still bracing myself for the cost -and almost fell over when he quoted me 1/3 for what that procedure/surgery would cost at other veterinarians. I can’t say how grateful I am for Dr. Gingle’s help. Just appearance alone I got a very good feeling that Dr. Gingle knows what he’s doing and felt reassured after speaking with him about my little dogs condition and the best way to address it. My little dog had gotten to the point where she’d stopped eating and wasn’t active anymore... he and the staff took very good care of her and the next day after surgery she was back to eating normally and almost back to her usual self. I “highly” recommend Dr. Gingle... he’s a well-seasoned veterinarian and you can rest assure, he will take care of your “best friend”!

Dr. Gingles is amazing! He’s on point with his diagnoses, very professional, humble, kind and pleasant to do business with. Amazing prices on his services. He helped me out tremendously.

Dr Gingles has been my pets vet for over 25 years. Brought my new puppy in at 6 weeks Sept 8 2020. They have a new young guy working there, he is great. Thankful they are still open doing business. Dr. Gingles has always taken great care of my pets.

I believe it's time for these folks to retire. They killed my cat. I strongly believe that they overdosed my cat because the man who did the deed came out and he looked like he could barely see through his glasses. Poor cat never made it to surgery. He said he gave my cat some meds to calm it and the cat got stiff and died. Complete loss of trust I would strongly recommend Mobile Vet.. Before these people...

After two bad experiences with vets I can honestly say that Dr. Gingles was so kind and compassionate with our cat. He came in and messed with her and was just so gentle and so old school! I am honestly returning to him and his staff!!

I recently took my cat there. Upon very little examination, no blood work, urine samples or other tests. The doctor took his temperature and felt around his stomach and determined that he has a urinary track infection. He gave him a shot and sent me him with antibotics and some other type of medicine. After several days of forcing the medicine into my cat, he was not showing signs of improvement. I was then forced to take him the the after hours clinic because he was so sick. Still believing that he had a UTI I thought that perhaps these doctors would take a more aggressive path of treatment and he would get better. After a few minutes of him being on the exam room they came back to tell me that my cat was not breathing well and that they were putting him on oxygen. I was shocked to hear this then only a few minutes later they came back in to tell me that he was in liver failure and that they rarely see a cat respond to treatment once they were this sick. I was then forced to make the difficult decision that we would not be proceeding with treatment and the doctor brought him back into the room with my daughter and I and he quietly died in my arms. The doctor at Gingles did very little to nothing to determine what was going on with him and if they had perhaps I would still have my cat here with me. My opinion is if you truly love your pets this would not be the place to go unless your ready to say goodbye to them. I thought that it being a small clinic that it would be people filled in there that truly love animals and want to help them but it was quite the opposite experience I suffered dealing with these people. My daughter called them several days after trying to get them to return her call and they would not return her calls. Please think twice before using these people, they don’t care about the animals and the facility is very dirty!!

Hi all.. On July 4, 2019, my sweet little fur baby escaped.. took him to this vet clinic who said he would be ok. Gave him pain meds and sent him home saying he’d get better. Well, he sure didn’t. I called back yesterday telling them he wasn’t better. The lady I talked to was very rude about everything & told me I’d have to pay another office visit ? Which I was ok with. But with the way I was treated when I was there for the initial visit and then over the phone, I decided to take my baby elsewhere. Sure enough, another clinic took my little fur baby in and found his pelvis/hip is shattered so bad they can’t even put pins in it to keep it in tact. He has to have emergency surgery which is going to cost me $1,435, and they may have to amputate his leg, due to how long it’s been injured. I called Gingles animal clinic today & was told he’d Call me back. Well, he did. & HE HUNG UP ON ME WHEN I TOLD HIM WHAT WAS GOING ON!!!! So unprofessional. Long story short, If Gingles clinic would’ve done their job, they could’ve saved my baby’s leg. I paid them for their services, and both my fur baby and I got treated poorly. And now my sweet little fur baby has to suffer. I DO NOT RECOMMEND GINGLES ANIMAL CLINIC!!!! But if you want to be treated like you’re trash, this is the place for your animals to be seen.

Soo we moved to the area back in the fall we came with a supply of flea tablets to last us through the winter and until we could find then a vet locally. Last month they were due for flea medication, not showing any signs of fleas but was due for prevenative so I called this clinic and was suggested Bravecto (a 3 month chewable tablet). A few days ago I noticed one of my dogs scratching, thinking it may be dry skin I checked her to find active, living fleas. I called clinic this morning and let them know and ask what should I do, to be told by mary, that she didn't know what to tell me but that I needed to treat my house and yard. We put flea/tick granuals in our yard every other month and have never had to specially treat our house (other than our quarterly pest control spray) for fleas. Very unhelpful, will not be making this place our vet and wouldn't recommend either...

When traveling, it is often hard to find a good vet to see your sick or hurt pet. Dr Gingles has always fit us in the same day and taken very good care of our little friends. =)

The most unprofessional veterinary office I have ever been to. I would give half a star if it would let me. The vet didn't say a single word to me and I had to ask for my animals prognosis. The rooms are trashed and the filing system is very unorganized. They found my file, lost it, then searched for ten minutes to find it again. I will never go back.

This clinic used to be a great place to take your animal but over the last few years it has gone down hill. Several occasions they have lost paper work and dont know the information on what needs to be done even though they are the only ones we have used. They have given our pet the wrong shots and are less than helpful when you have questions. Lady at the front desk is extremely rude. I would recommend instead the coast clinic on hewes ave.
