It's hard to believe I have been a customer of Dr. Broussard's for over 30 years. 30 years ago my cat was terminally ill and he showed so much compassion I will never forget this and will recommend him to anyone that is looking for a veterinarian. Dr. Marulo and all of the staff are excellent too! My dogs are never fearful to go to Dr. Broussard's office. I also have boarded my dogs with Broussard and have always been pleased.

Wonderful staff. Helped us get an appointment for our family cat to be put down the following day which I strongly believe was the incredibly humane thing to do. Dr. Amarillo was so caring and reassuring that we were making the right choice AND DESPITE COVID-19, SHE HUGGED BOTH MY HUSBAND AND I (safely, with face masks). Highly recommended!

Great curbside service and staff

Im from Ottawa Canada so I needed good advice for taking care of my dog while here. They gave me the impression i needed the short term rabies shot. Turns out it is not necessary for core lafayette and every other vet clinic I talked to said I was fine getting the long term one. They broke the nail completely off of my maltese while putting her in a cage. I cant imagine how, other than they were trying to shove her in fast and without care. Upon telling this to my wifes friend it turns out they did the same thing to her dog a couple years back. They did not offer bandages and in fact they wanted to charge me $250 for a shot due to their mistake. I was appauled and blown away that they wanted to charge me for their mistreatment. They seem to be driven by money first and foremost. Horrible experience. Good news is her nail has grown back months later but it was a lot of work cleaning it and changing the bandage every few days.

From the first appointment I have felt like the staff at Broussard Veterinary Clinc loves my cats!! They truly care about their animals they care for!!! They have gone above and beyond to make sure that my kittens are healthy!! I can not thank them enough for all that they have done for us!!

They have a great staff overall, and Dr Broussard has always been extremely helpful with personal and professional advice for our pets. He always has time during a visit to make sure owners and pets are well taken care of.

Absolutely positively would recommend this clinic. These are Doctors that truly care and have been caring for my moms pets at least 20 yrs!

The sweetest staff you could hope to help your pets! I've known the vets at BVH for years and they have always loved animals and wanted to help them. That they are equally kind and compassionate to their human owners is truly wonderful. Dr. Marrullo has taken care of all our dogs and seen us through the fun times and the sad times. They all were-and are- treated so well that I really can't imagine seeing anyone else.

I have been with Broussard vet for over 20 years. I would not change for the world. The care and love they have shown for my babies over the years is unbeatable. Even as the time comes for them to cross the rainbow bridge, they help you through and understand even better than family. I love this vet. My cat is 18 years old and not doing well. Dr. Marullo is so kind and gentle with her and with me. She's bent over backwards to try to figure out what's wrong with my old girl and figuring out what medications are best for palliative care. Their boarding is also fantastic.

Had just moved to Lafayette. Marley had needed to see a vet asap. They fit her in immediately. The front desk staff were so sweet to her. Her appointment was fantastic. The doctor was thorough and really informative. In short, Marley had a fantastic experience and she wasn't overwhelmed or scared.

Amazing vets. Really go the extra mile.

I called because my lab had a cracked nail and had exposed tissue. I needed to have it cut off because it was clearly painful for her and she was limping and I couldn’t do it myself. They wanted to charge me $95.00 for an initial examination of the nail, on top of additional services. Needless to say, I took my business elsewhere. Such a lost opportunity to earn a new customer.

Dr Broussard and Dr Murello are extremely caring and professional, they have dealt with care and compassion for everything concerning our little yorkie Jolie Monique!!! My wife has dealt with them for close to 30 years, love them!!!
