I have never gone to a better more caring vet. Over the years,70, I had a number of dogs and vets. Not only the vet, the staff are well trained. I can’t recommend them more highly!!!

This place is a total money making racket of incompetence and time wasting. You will spend money and time for multiple visits for frivolous issues while postponing more urgent issues. I wouldn’t bring my goldfish here!!

They always have my prescription cat food so I never have to drive more than 5 minutes from home. Never once saw their vet. I had his script sent over. The staff upfront are always nice though.

The staff goes above and beyond to make sure your babies are taken care of! I’ve been taking my dog for years and have nothing but good things to say (my dog would agree!). Highly recommend. Dr. Tanya is a saint!

Excellent vet clinic! We walked in with a emergency and they were very quick to help. The staff worked together to ensure our pet received the help she needed. It was very affordable, too. Highly recommend.

Our family appreciates the services received here, whether it’s check ups, sickness or injuries, and even assistance with the peaceful departure. During moves to different parts of Acadiana we have brought our family members to other vets, but in the end we always come back to Acadiana Veterinary Clinic. We will always keep coming back and recommend this clinic to anyone looking for a place that they and their furry members will feel loved, and treated like family.

Dr. Tanya and staff are just the finest people ever! I know everyone says they love their vet but they really do care for your furry ones! If you are looking for a new vet and you are reading this....you’ve found them! You won’t be disappointed!!!!

I love Acadiana Vet Clinic! My pets see Dr. Nichole and she is always so helpful and patient with the millions of questions I ask her. Their pricing is fair and on numerous occasions, they have done what they can to keep costs low without compromising their quality care for my fur family. As a pet owner my whole life, I have had many different experiences with numerous vets, but I will recommend Acadiana Veterinary Clinic over other veterinarian offices any day of the week!

No complaint with the staff or the vet. It is very expensive compared to other vets because they require 4 puppy visits to the normal 2. Other than that good vet office.

Absolutely awesome place. Not unnecessarily expensive and very kind people. Called about my cats abscess popping and they were able to have me come in an hour later and saw us within 30 minutes. Treated her well. Very nice place. So much love for them

I would not recommend Dr. Renée Poirrier for treatment of exotic pets. She scheduled a surgery for my pet fancy rat, who had an absess. Dr. Poirrier instructed no food or water before surgery to prevent vomiting. But she was unaware that rats can't vomit (she admitted to this). It's dangerous to withhold water from a rat because they're very prone to dehydration. We followed the veterinarian's instructions but then decided against the surgery. When I picked up my rat, someone had knocked down her water bottle so that she could not drink out of it. She died of dehydration that night.

I have brought my 2 dogs and 2 cats here for the last 9 1/2 years, and the care they have received has always been excellent. Dr. Tanya and Dr. Nicole are awesome!! However, the customer service aspect of this place is lacking. I recently switched to Lafayette Veterinary Care Center and they are truly amazing all-around! Everyone is extremely friendly and kind to the owners, as well as the pets. You are taken care just as much as your pet is! With so many excellent vets in Lafayette, customer service is extremely important and you will be treated better elsewhere.

All of the vets are extremely nice and I go there over any place; however, the receptionists are some of the most unprofessional ladies I've ever seen. They would listen in on conversations and then nudge eachother and begin to laugh, extremely rude behavior overall. When I call for appointments, receptionist cannot even give me the correct estimates or times.

My Boxer needed bilateral TPLO's (complete knee geometry restructuring) and I took her here for the procedures. The individual care that was given was outstanding. The doctors took time to address all questions and went above and beyond spending time answering them and making sure all bases were covered. From diagnosis to recovery PT, they were great. I am convinced they saved my boxers life on two separate occasions (from mischief she got into). My boxer has since been diagnosed with an Oral Plasmacytoma. This may have gone unnoticed if it hadn't been for a thorough routine examination. Thanks to early diagnosis, the prognosis is great. I might add that their services are extremely reasonable, which is not my primary reason for continuing to go to them. Usually exceptional care and reasonable cost are mutually exclusive, not in this case!

I dog is my child and love her just like family. AVC treats my dog with as much care as you would a human.

Awesome, caring veterinarians. They are often busy but the vets and assistants are all very accommodating and helpful. They were so kind when I had to say goodbye to my 15 yr old dog. I continue to bring my other dog there for routine visits and boarding. Highly recommend!

Today was our first and last time visiting Acadiana Veterinary Clinic. We were far from satisfied with the services rendered. The vet that saw our puppy was in a complete rush. The minute she entered the room she began administering shots/performing numerous exams. Had she communicated effectively and communicated to us what she was doing and for what reason, that would have been fine. But that was not the case. Essentially she just came in, ran up our vet bill, then left. She seemed to be simply a vet, not a true animal lover. Huge difference in my book!

My pets and I originally visited AVC because I heard my arthritic dog could get relief with acupuncture, and she surely did! In the years that have followed, many family pets and foster pets have received the best attention available anywhere. We love our Dr. Renee, Dr. Tanya and Dr. Nicole. They have laughed and cried with me, and always made sure to put the interest of the animals first. Thank you!

I have brought my pets to Acadiana Vet for years. I use them for vet services and boarding.The care my pets have received is totally top quality healthcare. I have had both dogs and cats, some of which have needed very specialized care including alternative treatments. By the way all three vets are excellent.

We have been using the Acadiana Veterinary Clinic since I returned to Lafayette for the care of our 7 cats and my daughters 2 dogs. They have taken care of everything from standard office visits, grooming, boarding, etc. During this time we have lost 4 of our special cats due to complications of old age and again the doctors and staff have been amazing. I recommend the clinic to all family and friends and will continue to use them as long as we are blessed with having our furry family member. Love these guys!
