My pomeranian had a bad reaction to flea medication, another Vet was treating her. Several days into the horrible sickness she was going through, she had a seizure. My Vet did not answer the phone, I called Carson and they took her in ASAP. They were very helpful and in one appointment, did more to help her than my vet did in 4 appointments. She is doing so much better, they called the next day to check on her and sent me the meds that I need and a list of approved dog food to help her heal. I am switching my 2 dogs and 1 cat to Carson, they are SUPERB!

Great cat staff. My anxious senior cat has the best experience and was treated well.

THE BEST VET IN LAFAYETTE! The staff is beyond amazing and caring. The Vets are the best! Since we’ve been coming here, my dog has received nothing but the BEST care! Seriously will never bring my Gracie girl to another Vet. First time we started using Carson’s was almost a year and a half ago now and I’ll never look back. She’s treated phenomenally there and the staff talk you through everything. There is never hidden fees and they take time talk to you about treatment options. Also Gracie doesn’t trust people easily and the way they take their time with her puts my pawrent heart at ease. We love Dr. Frady and still feel blessed that Carson’s was recommended to us! ♥️

We have a new Golden Retriever puppy. Carson Animal Hospital was amazing during our little pups visit. They treated him as a patient, not just a "dog". They were so caring and distracted him with yummy treats/peanut butter during his exam. Our pup never even flinched. I'm so happy we found our vet for our new family member.

Dr. Carson is like family! This is not just a job for him, he loves taking care of our pets, & it shows! Our dog was limping, he diagnosed the problem, treated her, & she’s chasing squirrels again❤️

We went today to have a progesterone test done on our girl Petunia, known as Tuni by the vet. I wasn't aware they had vets so close to home the aided in breeding! We were going to make a 2 hour trip for JUST a progesterone test! I'm so happy I decided to go to Carson's. They took us as a last minute walk in first thing this morning. Even with a full parking lot, they still helped us almost immediately! The vet himself was awesome. Super nice, funny, and informative. Came out himself to explain the results and all. Tuni (who usually is super nervous) was completely at ease with the nurse who took her, and brought her back! We will definitely be using these guys again!

Carson is great! We evacuated from hurricane Ida with a medically complex pup and they have really helped us out with making sure she was taken care of. We couldn’t return home to New Orleans as planned therefore got stuck in Lafayette with a dog who takes medication daily. Definitely give them a call if you’re looking for a compassionate vet!

I am absolutely grateful for everyone that I encountered at Carson Animal Hospital! Whether it be in person or on the phone the staff is so Professional, courteous, and kind. And they took amazing care of our sweet boy Dakoda. How do I know? Because they took time out to send my husband and I videos of how he was doing, and sent text updates!

Dr. Jim Carson & his staff were unbelievably kind & thoughtful yesterday. Our 8-year old Shitzu had Bladder Stones & they needed to be removed. Dr. Carson explained everything step of the procedure and called this morning to check on his patient! I would recommend this vet to anyone with a 4-legged family member!

We just moved here and got very lucky to find this vet on our first try. Such an amazing and sweet staff! You can tell they really care about your fur babies! This will most definitely be our new go to for all our animal care needs!

Great place for the dog

I cannot express enough how wonderful our very first experience was with Carson Animal Hospital. We brought one of our feline furbabies to get spayed. This is my first cat so I had lots of questions. Everyone on the staff is so kind, professional and knowledgeable. I was so nervous to see the final total of my bill because I heard how expensive animal healthcare bills can be. They had multiple payment options which was quite a relief. Overall I honestly can say nothing negative about our experience. I will always refer Carson to anyone needing a good vet!

Nice facility! The exam table weighs your dog! Able to make payment in exam room. No need to go back to the front desk. Very polite Dr and staff. Will go again!
