I called around to several places needing simply a rabies shot for my dog and they were the cheapest without making me pay an office visit or haggling me for any extra services. We were in and out quickly and answered my other random questions. Will be going back with my Animals again soon.

We’ve used over a dozen vets for our pets and the doctors at DS Animal Hospital surpass them all.

They have always been the only place that my dogs have ever requested.

Despite being super busy, they were very efficient! I managed to bring in 2 Stray Cats back to back this morning and get them completely taken care of while the parking lot was also full. They also do a great job administering vaccines and shots! My cats didn't even Flinch when they got there vaccines and shots! They are also extremely affordable! I am grateful for this place

I’ve used Denham Springs Animal Hospital for several years now & have always been very happy with the vets, the animal care, the support staff, the ability to get in, the ability to reach a vet after hours, and the price!! I carry their business cards with me at all times & refer clients, family, friends to them all of the time. I have 2 cats & I usually can’t predict ahead of time when I’m going to need a vet now - right now. I love that I don’t need an appt, and even when the waiting room is full, the wait is never very long. I can’t say enough about DSAH. I think they’re great & am so thankful to have them as my vets!!

Dr. Welch cut our puppies ears and did a horrible job! They were obviously uneven, one not standing at all. We brought her back to discuss the situation and he approached us with defense. Very unprofessional and extremely rude not wanting to hear our point view on the situation only to hear if we wanted him to cut them again. After our visit we strongly do not trust this man to touch a single animal of ours even again

I had been bringing my Doberman service dog here for years, even though it’s an hour and a half away from home. I think we have seen just about every vet in the practice. My last two visits are the ones that really stand out though. My dog had just been to a vet in New Orleans that gave him a clean bill of health even though he had developed a cough. Well, I didn’t buy it so I brought him up to Denham Springs. It was our first time seeing the young Dr. Welch. I told him about the cough and expressed my concern that he was in heart failure. Dr. Welch spent a long while listening to his heart and lungs. Told me he needed X-rays. He came back and told me Pip’s heart was fine, but a tumor had taken over his entire lung. He was so caring when he told me. He sent him home with meds to keep him comfortable. We only had a week with my boy before it was time. Dr. Welch came in, remembering Pippin, and commented on the drastic weight loss. I have lost other dogs before, but I have never had a vet be so gentle and kind to them in the final moments. When I get my new service dog prospect, he will definitely be seeing Dr. Welch. Just the way he genuinely cared has sold me for life.

Denham Springs Animal Hospital is awesome best place in the world to go. And Dr.Rossi is a magical worker she makes u feel so good about your pet and takes time to explain everything. Would not take my pet any place else. Dr. Rossi just save a 1 pound kitten for me that I found 2 weeks old. Was barely moving and would not eat, picked it up and the kittens eyes were open and biting at my fingers, she is awesome. Thank u Dr. Rissi from the bottom of my HEART!!!!!

I think the staff could be a bit more or cheerful. But I'm not there for smiles, so I keep going back. The Dr is knowledgeable and the prices are fair. They also offer boarding.

Wasn't pleased with the doctor that saw my dog, didn't exam look in his ears, nothing.

Took our English Bulldog to be spayed. It was a great experience.. I am very satisfied with the process.. Dr Walt is very professional and is easy to talk with.. he was very understanding and compassionate to our needs.. very pleased with the surgery our little our Tilley Mae is doing very well. Staff was nice , vet was mostly nice but didn't numb my dog at all before cutting off her broken nail (cut through the quick).

took my sick kitten here and they couldn’t figure out what was wrong ?? appreciated that they put him on a heating pad and gave him iv but was not helpful in figuring out the problem.

This vet clinic needs a deep cleaning, please clean your floors and fans, I saw dust everywhere. I can tell they don't clean often.
