Dr. Stephanie Thomas is a consummate professional. She is great with my 15 year old dogs who had al lot of aging problems. She knows what she is doing. She is also a straight shooter with information be at positive or negative. Her "bedside" manner should be the envy of many physicians for humans.

I feel like they really pay attention to the animal. It seems like they care. I've felt like other places have treated the animals like a number, but here, it seems like they have a real heart for the animals.

I love the wonderful staff. Shelly loves it there. They take tremendous care of her.

Absolutely love bringing Aiko here. The Vets are great and so is the rest of the staff. So thankful for them and their great options for payment. Definitely recommend them.

I've never had a bad experience yet. The vets that I've worked with have always been kind, patient, and capable.

I had a GREAT experience here, will be switching all of my animals into their care. Affordable and very nice, explains why certain illnesses happen and how to prevent it, explains WHY they prefer some products/medications over others. Very responsive and called to give me updates while my pet was there without me. Highly recommend!

Front desk employees are very helpful. Vets are friendly and cheerful faces They take time to explain diagnosis, actions, and solutions. No animal likes the vet, but I they are in good hands there.

Brought my puppy here since she was little the way they scheduled her puppy shots she had to come an extra time and get most of her vaccines separate which in the long run costed more. Scheduled her spay brought her in it was not able to be done because there was an issue with her blood work. They said they had to send her blood work out to see if she had large plates because they couldn’t find any on her sample. I get there to pick her up and they say “well we actually we did find large plates on her sample but we’re gonna send it anyways” which then costed me $130 for nothing. Had to push back her spay 2 months I told them I live in New Orleans over summer and I’d have to travel for it. I get to Baton Rouge the night before her spay they call me at 7 saying well we’re closed on Saturdays so we can’t have you pick up the next day you’d have to pick up the same day around 5, which didn’t fit in my schedule because I have a meeting at that time on zoom, so now they want me to reschedule and come all the way back inconveniencing me again. The only positive I have about this place is the vet techs are super nice. That’s it. Will not be bringing my dog back here they’re inconsiderate to their customers, unorganized, and in my experience seems that they care about pushing the most money they can out of you instead of caring about the animals like it should be.

We brought our cat Daisy to the clinic because she wasn’t eating. Dr. Lindsey and Dr. Stephanie spent a lot of time discussing treatments for her, explaining options in detail and their recommendations. Also, the whole staff including the receptionist were very professional, sweet and caring- always upbeat. Love them!

We brought our dog for her annual checkup and it was great! Our dog had some minor health issues found on blood work and the doctor and staff were very informative and helpful.

We were visiting from out of town and these took awesome care of our 16 yr old lab Ruby. I wish they were located where we live!

Jefferson takes great care of our dog Homer but doesn't overcharge or needlessly sell us on new stuff. I know that what he's getting is great care without any additional costs.

Dr. Larry McCaskill and his staff are truly amazing. One day our eighteen year old Chihuahua could no longer walk. Ten years before he picked a fight with a lab he thought was walking in his yard. The lab, trying to be kind, just picked him up and threw him. LSU veterinarians and Dr. Hackett saved him that time. But just like us, when you get old those young injuries you were able to get through come back to haunt you. One day he just sat down and could not walk. Dr. Hackett recommended Dr. McCaskill. Dr. McCaskill started acupuncture on him and from that day forward our little fellow was on his feet and as cheerful as always. We kept up the treatment gradually increasing the time between treatments and – to us – it was a miracle. We did finally lose our little friend but with Dr. McCaskill’s help he had a joyful last year. Throughout the process Dr. McCaskill kept communication open between us and did everything to make his last year good for all of us. We are indebted to Dr. Larry and his extraordinary staff.
