I won’t take my 2 dogs anywhere else but here very friendly and professional staff

The people here have always taken great care of our 15 year old kitty. Recently we found a stray kitten only about 1 month old. They got us a last minute appointment to get him checked out, helped us out with some food, and had great recommendations on how to best care for him. Their care and concern went above and beyond what we expected. We were able to get him adopted to a great home!

Dr Feringa cared for my senior cat who was nearing the end of his life. He helped me make tough decisions and was very compassionate. The staff is helpful and caring. I will be bringing my other pets here for their healthcare. Thanks Hillside

I honestly cannot put into words how much I love the staff here. They go above and beyond in taking care of their patients and the parents of their patients.

It took me a long time to find a vet that I felt I had a rapport with. All of the vets have gone above and beyond for me. I am respectful of their time with patients, but they are always willing to give me whatever time I need. The vets are knowledgeable and caring. I cannot say enough good things about them. They are also not stuck in the archaic past of many Louisiana vets.

The front desk staff is wonderful and compassionate and that is the only good thing about this vet clinic. How sad is it when your beloved pet passes and the vet who owns the clinic will not even take the time to sign the sympathy card when all of the staff does and when I inquired about that I was told he never signs any of them. I have had pets misdiagnosed, they have run out of medicine when my dog was being treated for a life threatening case of Blastomycosis, I have had a vet refuse to come back to answer a question, I have had a vet there try to give my dog a med that was contraindicated for her .This was the last straw. I have been a client there for 23 years. Dr Betty used to own the clinic and it was fantastic but now I will never go back after the way I was treated.After Katrina, I recommended this clinic to everybody I know that moved to the Northshore. Now I am telling them about my recent bad experience and the are moving on to a different clinic as well.I know other people who are having the same problems so they must be paying their friends to give them 5 star reviews.

The staff at Hillside are amazing. This is not my dogs normal vet, but fell extremely I'll. They took him in immediately. They started treatment for trash but because my dog had no other health issues and test result didnt show anything out of the ordinary. We were sent home. He stopped eating and we took him back to hillside and they went back to work to get the answers as to what was wrong. He has been diagnosed with Evan's Disease. He is doing better and responding to treatment. They have allowed me to visit at least twice a day and given us privacy to visit. I cant thank them enough, everyday as he continues to get better. These people have been amazing.

Hillside doesn't just take care of their patients, they take care of their patients' people too! We have always been happy with our services, but the last week I had both my male and female boxers fixed. My female is a real nervous nelly and I was so worried I was in tears. During her time there they sent me pictures and videos to reassure me she was fine and always updated me! That piece of mind helped me more than they'll ever know! Thanks hillside for always taking care of my fur babies and now myself too! At Hillside you get more than what you pay for! They will always be our vet family!!
