Bri who answered the phone is SO rude. I just wanted to request proof of vaccinate for my pet and asked politely but was given the WORST attitude. I understand we all have bad days but if I’m being so polite for you to be so mean during a 5 minute phone call is unacceptable.

Upon arrival, pets are given a towel that is sprayed with a special aromatherapy that instantly calms and quiets them. I really appreciate that Chalmette Pet Wellness goes the extra mile to preserve, not only the physical health of pets, but their emotional well-being, as well. The veterinarian, Dr. James Millet, and the other staff are compassionate and helpful. Dr. Millet is very kind and soft-spoken, and you can tell that he loves animals by the way that he talks to them and gently handles them. On top of that, the prices are very reasonable and the lowest that I have come across in the parish. They will not price gouge or take advantage of desperate pet owners, like some other veterinary clinics in the area. I will never take our family's pets to another veterinarian!

Dr. Millet is such a good vet. You can tell he really loves animals. He treated my little Duffy so well. His services are affordable too. **Duffy is doing fine. Bouncy as ever!

While their medication prices are really good, it's so unfortunate that my dog has been on hearworm preventative since he was 4 months old. I was currently informed that he will not get his medicine this month because the facility has a new doctor and my animal is one years old now. As I explained that I cannot get him in this week and asked if I could get his medicine for this month and schedule for him to come in before he is due the next month, I was left a voicemail saying no, they will not give my baby his medicine. So, my dog is not coming first because if his health was the priority, scheduling to be seen in a matter of a few weeks and giving him what he needs now wouldn't have been a problem. I'll just take my business and entrust the best quality care to the Vet down the street. #where #pets #lives #matter
