THRIVE Affordable Vet Care - Acadian Baton Rouge, Louisiana

We had taken our baby to an emergency vet after a hawk or eagle tried to kill him. The emergency vet did a horrible job. Took him to dr. Talesha and she did an amazing job fixing the mess that they left. Immediately he walked and moved better, ate better and is healing so well. Very thankful to Thrive. Front desk and assistants were all professional and very kind also.

I have a French bulldog that’s about 4 months now. When I first got him I took him to another vet they were ok just more costly and I also did not feel like it was a good fit for me and my pet. I was recommend Thrive by a cashier at the petco and decided to give them a try and I’m glad I did. They are very friendly from the front desk to the veterinarians! They always are quick and responsive. They are cost efficient and I’m glad I signed up for the plan that they provide. Even when that location can’t take you they try to find another location that can. My baby is in good health and well taken care of when he visits. If you get a chance you should try out for yourself!

I had called almost every vet in town and was astounded at how rude and uncaring they were. Most gave me quotes of at least $250 “just to be seen”, and told me it would be weeks before an appointment was even available. I was picking up food at Petco when I noticed the Thrive clinic. I asked the cashier about it and she spoke highly of them and encouraged me to call and have my sick kitty seen asap. I made an appointment online as soon as I got home (Perkins location). They sent a link to check in and friendly reminders as the appointment neared. The receptionist greeted me immediately by name with a big smile and escorted us into a room. The vet was there in less than 5 minutes and was super friendly and patient with me. My kitty is a cuddle bug and was given all the hugs and kisses he needed to get through the exam. Visit and meds were less than half of what other clinics wanted to charge me as a minimum. I have definitely found a new vet for all of my pets and will be using this place from now on. Highly recommend!! Thank you Thrive for your professionalism and pure love for animals.

The employees are very knowledgeable and kind. They were able to squeeze me in right before the holidays and on such a short notice which I appreciate. They made me feel welcome and made sure my dog was comfortable. I was also able to pay online which is always helpful. I will definitely be coming back.

We have 6 dogs so vet care is crucial. I am so very happy about switching to Thrive Vet!!! Dr. Greene and Dr. Brown are so good with our dogs. After each visit they check to see how your pet is doing. I truly could not be more pleased!!!!

I was nervous to bring my cat anywhere being as he is like a child to me but I couldn’t ask for a better experience! The doctor came in with a big smile and immediately sat on the floor to greet my baby. They were so quick, kind, and professional. Also the best prices around!

Everyone there was extremely kind and professional, the process was quick and painless, all for a very reasonable price! I couldn’t recommend more!!!

The vet here is amazing. He took the time to sit on the floor to comfort my tiny dog and get to know him before the exam. The staff are so caring, knowledgeable and efficient. We will definitely come back to this THRIVE for our other fur babies.

I recently moved to the area, and I hadn’t decided on a new vet yet. I went here thinking of it as kind of a temporary thing, but the staff has been so nice and caring I think I’ll stick around! They all really worked with my pets to make sure they felt safe and welcome. Plus the wait times have been very reasonable. Also they truly are affordable and will work with you to make sure you can afford the care your pets need.

They treated my baby boy like theirs he was a bit nervous for his first doctors visit but this is his Doctor and I won't be going anywhere!!
