Great staff and a good price.

I have received the best care for my 3 cats and miniature schnauzer. They have also helped with baby squirrels that fell from a nest and a baby opossum. The owner is my favorite person there and she feels like family. Very personable!

These ladies are awesome. I brought one of my cat colony to be fixed through a CAAWS voucher and they did a great job, treated her well and I discovered that one of their doctors treat exotics for the lizard of my daughter's that messed up it's jaw during a rehouse and chomp. They quoted me one price to do a drop off exam then decided to keep the critter for the weekend to see if there was more they could do, and when they couldn't, didn't charge full price for the original exam or the weekend room and board plus meds. So very satisfied with them.

I bring my cats Muffin and Pepper here . They get the 5 stars because my cats are happy and healthy !!!! Thanks again Azela lakes vet team!!!

I came to Baton Rouge because I was displaced from Hurricane Ida. I realized that I had forgotten my dog’s flea and heartworm medication. The staff here were so polite and caring!! They asked about my family, pet and property. They confirmed all necessary information from the papers I brought in since my vet office is without power and got my pup his medication. If I’m ever away from home I will be using this vet for any needs because of the way they put pets first!! So appreciative of their caring and helpfulness!! 100/10!! Storm and I thank y’all!

Front staff was fine, it was the doctor that was horrible and extremely rude. I have been coming here for years and never had a problem before. Definitely will not be using that doctor again. Will wait until another one has an opening. I had never seen this doctor there before.

My sick puppy had to stay there for a week. The puppy was so well taken care of, happy and so socialized when I picked her up. That says a lot.

We are beyond grateful for the care that our goldendoodle, Ivy received after a tragic incident with a vehicle….the staff at ALVC is truly the most amazing and compassionate team around.

I've been taking my dogs here for over 10 years and they take exceptional care of them. Wouldn't trust anyone else with their health.

Boarded my dogs there and was very pleased with how happy and clean they were. Definitely will use them again and recommend them to everyone.

Disgusting treatment of pets after death

They work with, "Magic happens bunny rescue". I rescued a little bunny. Magic happens asked me if I could drop it off at ALVC. They were nice. They git the git recommendation.

They were easy to talk to on the phone and very accommodating. Their covid procedures were respectable while also creating easy drop off and pick up.

Top notch service and care. They are also affordable! Bring your fur babies to them!

Went for a checkup for our German Shepard and the staff was very warm and friendly! Our vet assistant, Shelby, was super helpful and nice. She thoroughly answered all our questions about the new medicine we were getting for our dog and what next steps we needed to take in the treatment plan. We had a very pleasant experience thanks to Shelby and Dr. Boucher and will definitely be coming back!

I called several times but no one answered so I left messages but no one responded to my messages.

Dutches was taken well care of by Top notch team. I love the way she smelled they wouldn't tell me what brand. Oh well to the vet I go.

I’ve used Azalea Lakes for 25+ years. Love, love, love Dr. Susie however the support staff is rude & arrogant. The COVID system they have in place is unorganized & has not improved in the 5 moths it’s been in place. I have 3 dogs that go in twice a year plus 1 w/heart problems so I spend a huge amount of $$$ there which makes it especially hard to be treated disrespectfully & as if they could care less if you use them or not.

LOVE THE VETS.... not so much the curbside attendants. There was a problem with my phone when the vet called to tell me the diagnosis. I asked the attendant to have the VET call me back. She replied "no, worries I'LL just tell you what's wrong". When I had questions about the medications and pricing, she became flustered and rude. The next time I spend $300 at the vet, I want to speak to the vet, not the attendant.

They were so respectful and sweet to me losing our pet. Highly recommend

I recently moved out of my parents and got my first pet all on my own. I’ve had my guinea pig, Lola, for about 3 weeks now. When she came up with some skin irritation, I had to find a vet ASAP. I found Azalea Lakes and decided to give it a shot. I don’t know if I’ll ever take any animal of mine to any other vet. First, they saw me as a walk in because they didn’t have an immediate appointment available. The care was excellent. When Lola was still scratching herself later that day, I called to figure out what to do. EVERY person talked to remembered my girl. They went above and beyond to help me! They saw her AGAIN as a walk in and made sure my girl was not only healing, but that she was comfortable as well. All of this with a smile on top of them having to deal with COVID regulations. I couldn’t recommend them enough!!

I have had two bunnies in their care (10 years) and I recommend their services. They communicate well when overnight care is required and I appreciate their balanced approach to health issues.

Dr. Savannah did an awesome job with my dogs surgery. Very professional.
