I had to go in for a very sad situation and they made it feel like they genuinely cared for me and my pet. Thank you all! You are amazing, even under the sad situation with my Milo.

I am most disappointed in this clinic. I sent a dear friend of mine here with his beautiful dog. She was feeling sick and he was out of town. Two days later and they did nothing but request more money. This was his best friend. I can not believe how cold, how demanding they were over money. She died the next day from a kidney infection. He would get more updates of the balance (after putting a retention of 1,500 for her) more than he got for her updates of her care or improvement. I would not recommend this clinic for anyone that cared for their animals. I will do what it takes to see that all of Richmond Kentucky and the surrounding counties know of how they treated my friend and the greedy actions they had. Please do not take your pets here. Waco Kentucky had a wonderful vet and will treat your pet as if it's your own. If they were open on Sunday we would have went there. I am so saddened by this clinic. I work in health and realize the financial needs it's takes but demanding money without reason is absolutely ridiculous. This was no surgery, only a X-ray, blood work and anabiotic's. Please beware and go elsewhere.

I am so impressed by the incredible team here. Everyone at this animal hospital truly cares about our furry family members and their parents. They are so friendly and compassionate. Dr. Landers is so knowledgeable. She explains things thoroughly. Making sure you understand. She presents options. She does everything in her power to provide the best possible medical care. My baby was in bad shape. She kept me continually updated. When we ran out of options she was so compassionate. When it came time to say goodbye to my precious boy, every member of the staff was comforting and caring. They provided so much support to help me through a horrible time. I just can't say enough good about them. All of them. Should I ever need emergency care again, I won't think twice. I'll be back to Advanced Animal Care. Thank you all for taking such exceptional care of my precious Oli.

I was visiting some family out of town when my dog needed to see a vet on a Saturday. Couldn’t get in anywhere but Advanced Animal Care, so we drove for an hour to Richmond. They took excellent care of my old gal and were nothing but kind and patient with her (even though she was not happy to be there). With an emergency exam, sedation, and three prescriptions, I expected a massive bill yet it was quite reasonable. It was a great experience in a stressful situation. I’m so grateful they were able to get my girl fixed up and on the road to recovery. I’d definitely go back here, but hope I never need to!

Hi I actually have questions. My dog ate a pack of baloney with the strings around it and I'm really scared. I don't have enough money to get him checked out . Is there anything you all can suggest?

The staff members at this hospital are wonderful !! They go above and beyond for their patients. Our dog Max, was at deaths door, they literally saved his life. Haley actually brought in her own dog to donate blood for a desperately needed blood transfusion , which is what was needed to kickstart our little guys road to recovery. He was loved and cared for by a genuinely caring and knowledgeable staff. If you want excellent care for your furbabies, bring them here !!!

I had a kitty who was dying I called crying and they said it was going to be $107 just to look at him. I couldn’t afford that. I couldn’t find any help so this poor kitten passed away. A vet I paid $5 to talk to online was a lot more helpful than anyone I talked to over the phone. I don’t understand why people become vets to “help animals” but charge an arm and a leg to owners who may or may not be able to afford that. So thanks for the help.

Had a scare last night with my dog. There were no places locally that were open and I had to drive almost an hour to Advanced animal care. The people who spoke with me on the phone were very compassionate and when I arrived the staff worked quickly to help my dog. Everyone we dealt with was very kind, helpful and sweet. She is doing much better and I can’t thank them enough for everything and their kindness

From the receptionists to the techs to the doctor, everybody was so amazing! I have used this hospital for years now and I’ve never had anything except great care. My sister also uses them because they are so reliable! They have taken care of my dogs in the past. And now they are taking such great care of Hoops Dog! They were so sweet and loving towards him, and took such amazing care of him. All of the staff were so nice, took their time to explain things to me, and just gave him so much love! I will always go back to this hospital for my pet’s care!

I absolutely love this place. I actually live in London and drive to Richmond just for the quality of care and overall service they provide my babies. Five out of five worth the drive♥️????????

I am changing my review to a one star based on the follow-up to my cat’s care. I called four days after being treated to let them know I thought his face(wound) was not healing properly. They told me to wait 7-8 days after and call them back. I did that after his face was open and bleeding again and he was in pain! They did not answer the phone for over 10 minutes so I called a vet in Lexington who would answer the phone and had compassion about his condition. He is being treated by a vet who actually cares. A lady from Advanced Animal Care called me this evening(two days later) and said she was returning my call. Two days later is horrible response time!!! I told her he was treated already by a vet in Lexington and that they could do better to follow up on a very specific detailed message about my cat. She had no clue about his previous emergency visit and kept asking me all the details even though I had left that information already! I would not recommend this vet! I was told by the follow-up vet here in Lexington that if his condition does not improve he may need surgery. Horrible vet care!! The lady at Advanced Animal Care two days later got rude and defensive so I politely said good-bye and hung up.

My dog was soooo sick, put on oxygen and in the hospital for three days. Sadly she was diagnosed with severe heart disease. I am so thankful for the loving, caring and professional staff. They told me to call anytime of the day to check on her, which of course I did, they certainly put my mind at ease. Sadly this should have been discovered by her previous vet as it was so severe. Advanced animal care is the only place I will take her now. To the doctors and staff at AAC thank you from the bottom of my heart!! ❤️????

I wish I had read the reviews before I put my poor cat threw the 2hr drive there. It costed 400dollars for blood work and 2 medications. I feel they only wanted money. They wanted to keep him overnight to watch him but said it would be 1000$ maybe more if they had to give more meds. That's fine I would have paid anything! BUT THEY WILL NOT WORK WITH YOU. All they done was knock him out and he was awake and having seizures before we got out of the parking lot. So if you have money its probably a great place to go but average people that love ther fur babies find somewhere else to go.

Dr. Crabtree and the other staff have expressed concern and interest in my bird’s special needs, and mine as well. They are sensitive, educational, and he is improving due to their expert care. I left feeling heard and that they know how special this animal is. And my bird is so much better now.

Started off as a tech visit for vaccines and given a cost for the visit. We were told we could come in with our pet as long as we wore masks. When we got there we called and were told to come in. Got to the door and were turned away…they stated that tech visits were being done by curbside service only. Sat in the car for 10 minutes and then a tech came out and told us that we would be charged for a doctor visit because they needed to do an exam with the vaccinations. So our visit turned out to be $50 more than what we were quoted on the phone. I will go back just because my pet is established there but they just seem very disorganized and came off as unprofessional.

Came in with a stray kitty that had been attacked by a bigger animal. we took him in and they looked at him to make sure it wasnt life threatening. got him seen they said he was in pretty rough shape dehydrated and malnourished. they put fluids in him and sent us home with medicine. he did not make it but they all did they best they could even remember me when i called to asked what i should do when he had stopped breathing and light the candle in the front. i am very thankful for the help i got.

Very upset they didn’t get our dogs ink paw print after she passed when told numerous times we needed it for tattoos. Spent a lot of money here for them to just forget something like that not happy at all.

My cat was in pain and I rushed to find an emergency vet to find out what was wrong. Both the 24-hour vets in Lexington wouldn't let me be with my poor cat in the room due to all the covid regulations, but Advanced Animal Care in Richmond let me be with her to calm her and let them work on her.

I had an emergency at 9:30 on a Tuesday night and they were able to get me right in! My vet tech that was with my cat was so sweet and treated my cat how I’d want her to be treated! I felt horrible having to leave my fur baby over night, but I knew she was in great hands! Also, the office seemed quite spacious, clean, and smelled good (surprisingly for a vets office). I would definitely recommend them and I will return for and future emergencies.

Excellent care today for my precious Gracie!!! She has one of her eyes irritated so away we went to Advanced Animal Care in Richmomd. They are always available and that means so much knowing my baby is always gonna be cared for 24/7. Thank you to everyone from the front to the back for treating Gracie with such care and we will see you back for a recheck in 1 week. Dr. Crane, Gracie sends her love for your care today!!!! ❤❤❤❤

The Richmond Branch of Animal Care Clinic doesn't care about animal wellbeing. Only palliative care and extreme costs. They'll let your animal die of starvation instead of help find the cause, and then just treat it for the pain.

Our pup, Hazel, was just spayed today. AAC has been very professional with communication and keeping us updated before her surgery and after. The vet called me after her surgery to tell me how everything went and was very sweet and reassuring that our pup was doing very well. While I was at AAC waiting to pick up Hazel, the computer system locked up. While many companies would be very frustrated and upset at this happening, the front desk workers at AAC were very calm and accommodating to patients who needed to be somewhere else soon. The vet was very knowledgeable and reassuring when she came to bring Hazel back to me. She explained the medication, dosage, and times to me very clearly so that I had no other questions. Everyone was very kind and I look forward to going back for the post-op appointment! Very happy with the overall experience, but more thankful that they cared and loved my dog as though it was their own.

Appointments are always prompt and on time, anytime I call day or nite they always make arrangements to take care of us... wonderful and friendly staff and they always follow up with you....
