Brought my dog with cancer here and they got her meds right. Powell Animal Hospital helped give her 4 more awesome months traveling the country. Thanks for taking care of us!!

Dr. Peterson has been my veterinarian for many years. She was my last dog’s vet and when it came time to euthanize her, she was very kind and compassionate. All of the doctors here are very good as well. I now have another puppy and I drive 50 miles for visits because it is absolutely worth it. I trust them because they have always been professional and provide excellent care to my dog.

I just recently switched vets to Powell animal hospital because we weren’t having very good experiences with our former vet. We’ve only been to establish and get a nail trim, which for my pit mix has always been a traumatic experience. I have nothing but positive things to say about Dr. Carr and the lovely techs! Dr. Carr returned my call about medication dosing the next day, and the ladies who helped trim my girl’s nails were very gentle and patient, and took their time so it was less scary. I am already very happy that we made the switch!

They treated our precious Pete with care, and called to check on him the next day. Couldn’t ask for a more caring vet.

I have been going to them for years. Excellent doctors and staff who not only care for the pets ,but also the owners. Highly recommend.

The prices have gone up and the staff and doctors are very poor. Go elsewhere!!!!

They were amazing. We had just adopted a puppy and she ended up very sick a couple of days after we brought her home. They were very attentive and made sure we knew they young Williams sometimes treats newly adopted dogs for free instead of doing all the treatments and charging me an arm and a leg. They have just gained a patient for life.

Powell animal hospital is the best! I wouldn't trust my fur baby to anyone else. From Sue at the front desk to Dr Peterson, my dog is well taken care of!

If you have a GSD, you really need to be seeing Dr. Peterson! She is so patient with our Moose AND with us as first time GSD parents. Moose is not very fond of vet visits, but they go out of their way to reassure him everything is ok. Saturday office hours make it so much more convenient for working people to access veterinary care for their pets. Calling and scheduling appointments is always positive, easy and fast experience. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Peterson!!!!

We were traveling through Tennessee when our 16 yr old cat became ill. It was determined she was probably in renal failure & we decided to have her put to sleep. Both the tech & Dr. Peterson were so compassionate & made me feel confident we made the right decision.

Everyone took great care of our dog even we was there for puppy shots. Will be back if we are need a vet. If we are back in town. My husband and are truck driver

Dr. Peterson has ALWAYS taken care of my Shiba Inu and explains everything to me so i can care for my service dog as well as i can. Miss Sue at the front desk is always so kind, sweet, efficient and knowledgeable. My dog and i always have a positive experience and i highly recommend them for any animal family members and their humans.

Dr. Carr has taken wonderful care of my little beagle Millie. Powell Animal Hospital offers a very high quality of care, and they have always been very loving and kind towards my dogs. The technicians are fantastic too, very nice and loving with towards Millie and very professional and helpful.

I was very satisfied with the care given to my golden retriever. I have not had an opportunity to meet Dr. Peterson because we just started going to the Powell animal hospital when Covid hit. Dr. Peterson has been wonderful to communicate over the phone. The only thing I don't like now is still not being able to go in with my dog.

The Veterinarians and all other staff are always compassionate, supportive, and knowledgeable. The are friendly and professional at all times and listen to what I have to contribute to the care of our sweet cat. They offer options and yet do not try to force any specific care. They give to time to absorb the situation and make a the decision that you feel is the right choice. I appreciate each and every one of them.

I boarded here once before with no issue. This last time, my dog was scheduled for a bath. When I picked her up she was still damp and smelled deeply of mildew. It smelled like they did not wash her at all, nor did they brush her. They also regretted to return the bag of food I dropped off with my dog.
