Dr. Costner is very caring and professional. She kept us updated everyday about how Catatrina was doing. Everyone is wonderful at Richmond Veterinary Clinic.

I had my kitten brought in for core vaccines and spaying. I was quoted one price then charged well more after the service. I was told she was being taken back to be weighed and they did blood work and a 53$ FIV test I never asked for or needed. The total cost for 2 core vaccines and spaying is over 600$ after all of the add-ons, which they say are required but are only required by this clinic, KY law nor VCA recommendations do not say these things are required. They over-charge, they do work on your animal without discussing it or telling you what they are going to do, they just do it while getting the weight and then charge you well above the average rate.

My little Bella just got spayed yesterday. They took such good care of her and she is healing well. She moved a little slower today but other than that she is already back to being her old self which is quite the ham. ????

They are Awesome.. They Love your pet & make them feel at home & very comfortable.. when you leave, you and your dog are very happy and also knowing the vets know exactly what they are doing.. very kind and professional!!

I have been using the RVC for many years now. Dr. Putnam and his staff are out of this world wonderful! Very professional, and very knowledgeable. The RVC is so easy to work with. I have a business for training Police dogs. All dogs that I purchase for future Police service are seen by the best, first!. I would advise any one with any animal to consider the RVC. I always recommend the RVC to all law enforcement agencies with their K9 programs. The staff at RVC know Police dogs very well. They treat over 100 Police dogs currently.

Always reliable with getting our pet Blu in. Even though everything was booked up, placed on cancellation list and called promptly with opening. So glad we got him in and identified his infection and set up treatment. Highly recommend this vet clinic! Totally worth it!

Poor service, lack of people skills, especially at the front desk. It starts with first contact and that says enough to take my business elsewhere!

I recently took my Chihuahua to the Richmond Veterinary Clinic . I was very pleased with the services we received The staff was friendly and professional They got us in quickly and was very good with BoBo. They did a nice job handling him and putting his little nerves at ease. Dr. Putnam's mannerism was kind and gentle. He did a thorough exam and took his time with BoBo and answered all of my questions. We will be making the Richmond Veterinary Clinic BoBos permanent clinic for ALL of his future needs.

I took my dog Lacy here for years they always took great care of her, They were very kind to us when we had to have her put down. I switched to another vet that was closer to home for my 2nd dog Gizmo but recently switched back to Richmond vet clinic. They seem to really care about their animals they call and check on him when he's sick and they seem to always try to help me decide the best care for him due to affordability.

Such a wonderful clinic! They treated my baby so good and took the best care of her. I highly recommend this clinic if you're looking for people who care about your pet. I'm 100% going to keep bringing my pets here!

The vets are are amazing. We had a sick cat that had been on the wrong treatment due to guesses from another clinic. Dr. Putnam took the whole day with our kitty to get the tests needed to make a diagnosis. While the poor guy didn't make it much longer he felt better then he had in months with the right treatments before he passed. I will not go to any other vet now. The compassion and care at this clinic is unlike any I've seen. The staff and doctors are all amazing and truely care.

I have taken my dogs to Dr. Putnam for many years he has always been very dependable and, very thorough and caring when caring for my fur babies. I trust him and know he is experienced, he will always communicate with me and do the whats needed. The office staff is also professional and kind to me and my pets.

Its black Friday and every other vet I've called has been closed. The lady who answered the phone was so very nice and I could tell that she cared. They didn't have any appointments open today but for what we needed she still took care of the problem. She went above and beyond for a new patient and I will definitely be using this vet now.

Love the waiting area. Its so calm and their chairs are really comfy. Their staff is super nice and understanding and they really seem to care about the patients they see and the owners that care for them. The Vet gets right to the point and will even point out further issues with your pet if there are any.

Richmond Veterinary Clinic is amazing. Dr. Putnam has been great to all 5 of our animals. His staff is always so friendly and kind, they all are very passionate about their jobs and treat our animals like their own. There’s no other vet clinic that compares.

Our longtime vet, who we also love, was out of town when our dog got sick. I called Richmond Veterinary Clinic, and I could not have been more impressed. They treated us like we were family. They have called twice to check on our dog and make sure he is doing okay. I can’t say enough good things about this Vet Clinic!

Extremely nice staff. They saved my sweet Ruby girl and made her so comfortable. She's never been left anywhere over night but when the staff let me come visit her I knew she was doing and feeling much better. This was an emergency situation and they fit me in their extremely busy schedule and still made time when I called ahead and asked to pop in and see her. I am so thankful for this staff and this facility.
