I love the entire staff at Animal Hospital of Nicholasville. they were like the most caring hospice team when it was time to say "good-bye" to my precious old sweetheart, Charlie (a schnoodle). My other dog (Jazz, lab mix) was extremely anxious and showing fear aggression when she first visited AHON. Dr. Burkhart was the most wonderful care-giver, ever! The vet assistants and Dr. Burkart sat on the floor with Jazz, feeding copious amounts of canned cheese, to help reduce her anxiety. With Dr. Burkhart's guidance we have used a combination of pharmaceuticals and behavior modification to see Jazz evolve into the most wonderful dog we could ask for. I thank God for the availability of such unexpected care for our four-legged family members.

Not only is the staff knowledgeable but caring as well. They go above and beyond any vet clinic every single time. I wouldn’t trust my pets with anyone else.

The staff was very friendly and did a wonderful job handling the scared little stray kitten I brought in. I will definitely be bringing my other cats in to see them.

Bet Vet office ever!! I have always taken my cats/dogs to Animal Hospital, EVERYONE there is always helpful and tries to give the best quality care to my animals.. This veterinarian office has always been very professional and always ready to answer my questions about my animals. They are very kind and take good care of them. The staff is very pleasant and helpful.

I was very impressed with my first visit at the Animal Hospital of Nicholasville. Our 14 year old shih tzu is so much a part of our family that we treat him as such. The Animal Hospital of Nicholasville exceeded my expectations and treated "Chance" just the same, like family. Great folks here, and they really care. The veterinarians I have dealt with always take the time to thoroughly discuss and explain, it doesn't feel like you are being hurried out.

Everyone is amazing here! The staff is incredible and loving to our little guy. Our dog actually gets excited and happy when we tell him vet time. We trust them to care about our boy and they do 100%. They are a blessing!

By far the most amazing vet clinic I’ve ever taken any of my fur-babies to! The staff is always so friendly & knowledgeable. It is clear that they actually care about each animal they encounter. There are a lot of other places in the area that only seem to care about getting every dollar they can out of you, but Animal Hospital of Nicholasville is NOT one of those places! Vet care is never “cheap”, but the compassion, patience & understanding that these guys have shown us while keeping my pets happy and healthy is well worth it!

They worked my doggie (with a scratched eye lens) into their busy schedule with no issues. They we're so sweet to my girl and very welcoming for our first visit. Place was wonderful, clean, and refreshments provided. I highly recommend them to my closest friends and relatives. In fact, when I arrived home I was convincing my friend to transfer their care to this place right away. Absolutely stunning service! Thanks again you all :)

Octavia is a 3yr old F2 Savannah which they handled beautifully she is not a typical cat and needs to be handled a bit differently then normal kitties! They understand her breed amazingly there and offer such kind and loving care! Whole staff is super sweet and amazingly helpful! So a big thank you to the whole hospital staff for helping make sure Octavia is a healthy happy girl!!!

Marty was diagnosed with tumors on his lungs and abdomen last summer. We knew it would be a matter of time. The vets and staff at Animal Hospital helped us through the last year. In May of this year, Marty was ready to say goodbye. We appreciate the way this was handled at the clinic and will be forever grateful. Thank you for everything

You can tell they love animals. They are always very nice and I feel very comfortable leaving my babies with them.
