This place is awesome! Staff and doctor are all nice and answered all of my questions! They were able to get my puppy in for an emergency once and worked around my schedule, truly appreciated that. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Dr. Wes and his team are fantastic! I can tell they really care about my dog and all the other pets they see. Dr. Wes is very personable and does a great job of explaining everything in a way I can understand. I highly recommend Wes Vet!

Dr. Wes and his staff have been great! They are all very friendly, responsive to questions and concerns, and make documenting claims for pet insurance easy with their post-visit paperwork emails. They also take precautions for COVID-19 for staff and paw-parents' safety, which I definitely appreciate.

Have about 15 different dogs within my clan that need various services and after an initial consultation for surgery with Dr Wes I plan on bringing them all to him. Woohoo, personable and non judgemental. Thought of ways to save me money!! Highly recommend!

The best vet in town, hands down. My family and I are new in the area, and the mistake we made was not coming here first. The amount of care Dr. West puts into his clients is one of a kind. He really takes the time to fully understand your concerns and wants the best for your pet, it was as if he was taking care of one of his own.

This place is a spot of heaven on earth. We were traveling to visit my sister and my dog became ill. Not only did WesVet work us into their schedule within a couple of hours but found out what was wrong nearly as quickly. The staff was incredible. Dr Wes was attentive and caring. Even after our visit looking at his Facebook and the animals he cares for and reading the stories by his staff, this place is full of people who are just like me and LOVE their furry children! If I could give more than 5 stars I would. And despite their distance, WesVet will be my first call for my babies’ needs!

WesVet is without rival the best and only place I will take my pets. My wife and I have brought our cat Binx in a few times now, and every time we are more and more impressed. They are evidence-based in their care (No weird "remedies" at this place), intelligent, and incredibly professional. Dr. Wes's "bedside manners" are top notch, and He always communicates things happening with your pet clearly and plainly. You can certainly tell that caring for your pet using only evidence-based care is his highest priority. The other Vets and assistants are equally incredible in their treatment and care of pets. Furthermore, they are always available for you to call if you have any questions after you leave your appointment. Stop looking for another vet - this is the place you should go. So thankful for WesVet!

Each time I have needed vet services for any of my animals whether routine or urgent they have exceeded my expectations. While vet services in general are costly I have found theirs to be reasonable. Big thanks to Dr. Wes and his staff for the quality care they have provided my pets so far!

We were devastated when our longtime veterinarian retired last december. They highly reccomended Wesvets and sent our records over. We feel very much at home in the new environment and Dr. Wes is the best. They make you feel like they are treating family. Very lucky that the previous vet clinic told us we couldn't go wrong with WESVETS!!!!!!!!

Nothing but good things to say about this veterinarian and his staff. Celine at the front desk? She's got your back! So friendly and helpful. Ieneke, the vet tech? Felt like an immediate bestie with my baby's best interests at heart. And Dr. Wes himself? He's the man! My princess gave me a mild panic attack and needed to get in quickly. They saw her the same day and immediately put my mind at ease. We were in and out, with medicine, in less than an hour and at a very reasonable price. They even called the next day to check on her (well, US, haha) and that was appreciated so very much. Just an all around paws-itive experience on a scared mommy kind of day. 10 out of 10, highly recommend! ????

We took our puppy to WesVet and I love all the information the doctor shared with us. It was very professional. We waited in the car because of Covid protocols but they were very prompt to provide the services and make sure we were comfortable. He answered many question as we are first time pet owners. They even put a pretty bandana on her. Definitely would recommend.

Wesvet is hands down the best vet I’ve been too in my long adult life. They don’t just go through the motions, there is care behind it. I never feel rushed. Two very good qualities.

Great vet, knowledgeable, friendly and patient. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a high quality vet and facility.

First off, my pup "Lady" (@ladywiththebrownspots) is not the easiest of dogs. It is not her fault though. She came from a broken home, lived on the streets for a while, went through the foster system (to be clear her foster was amazing), and finally came to me. Let's just say she is not the most trusting of 4 legged furry creatures. The whole staff at WesVet treated Lady so nicely. We took a break to calm her down between shots and a blood draw, and eventually took a 2 day break to come back for the blood draw. Through it all, you could see the care and compassion the staff has for animals. I was really impressed and really appreciative. Cannot recommend them enough.

I was a walk in and did not have any appointment. They were very willing to see my cat. The staff was very professional and nice. The doctor came out and spoke to me on 2 different occasions. After a shot and 2 different meds she seems to be doing a lot better this morning. Great job WesVet on my first visit there. I will be visiting again. Oh, and Kayla, my cat says thanks also!

Thank you, Dr. Wes and staff!! My big puppy gets very anxious going to the vet and has typically needed sedation for simple procedures such as a nail trim. Our first visit to Wes Vet blew my mind at how they were so willing to accommodate us and made his initial exam and trim seem so easy (no sedation or muzzle needed). Our dog earned his treats today, but the real applause goes to Wes Vet! We have found our new home for veterinary services.

Today was my first visit to WesVet. Because of Covid-19 they are only doing curbside service; which i completely respect. They have you fill out a curbside intake online. When you arrive a vet tech will come out and talk with you and listen to any concerns. I have 2 dogs. They took them in one at a time. After examining my dogs Doctor Schoonover came to the car with his findings and recommendations. I have one dog who has developed allergies over the last 2 years. Previous vet used steroids, which helped some. I was given the option of an oral med to be given as needed. She's already scratching less. Everyone at the practice was very friendly and professional. I look forward to being able to go in with my pets. Thanks for a great first visit!

I cannot say enough good things about Dr Wes & his staff. It is very clear that they care about any animal who comes into their doors. Regardless of title/position, everyone there treats your animal as if they were their own pet. Dr Wes explains any treatment plan thoroughly & confidently. In the rare instance it’s something he is not familiar with, he does extensive research to find the answers. They have great availability, often times appointments within the same week, & their prices are very competitive. I trust them hands down with all of my animals & fosters as well. I live in Donelson & will always take my pets to him so long as I am in the Greater Nashville area. If you have pets & aren’t going to WestVet, you’re doing it wrong!

I took my dog for shots and he loved them so much, naturally they were my first thought when my dog suddenly became ill. They quickly worked him into the schedule and went over and above for my baby. He forgot he had been sick as soon as he saw the Techs and Vet and wanted to just just play with them. He left there feeling so much better. I’m so thankful to them for his care and giving me peace of mind. Gotta check them out!

I love this place. They are all wonderful and super easy to schedule. Reasonably priced and accessible. They are everything you want in a vet, open, honest and willing to work with what you can do and afford. Amazing staff, and Dr Wes is the best!

The best vet in Nashville, hands down. Dr. Wes practiced at my previous vet's office, and I am really glad he opened his own practice. He is always extremely thorough in his treatment and evaluation of our senior cats, who are suffering from CKD, and explains everything to us in a way we understand. And not only is Dr. Wes awesome, but everyone at WesVet is extremely kind and helpful. Definitely would recommend everyone come here!!

Overall great experience. I was referred to this place by someone. My Great Pyrenees was sick and they took amazing care of him. Very friendly and professional staff. Awesome Doctor and Staff! We have 6 animals and he has helped us with many different issues from routine to surgery! We changed vets that was a mile from our home to WesVet that is about 20 miles from our home which speaks for itself.

These folks are incredible. I’d recommend to anyone.
