Southside Animal Hospital Nashville, Kentucky

We’ve used Southside for years. My last visit was for our new pet boxer, Olive . We adopted her and the staff treated her so well. The checkin staff was busy but efficient. Nicole, our vet assist , was so caring. Dr Spivey explained all the questions thoroughly and took a lot of time with us.

Everyone is always very nice and accommodating. All my questions get answered. The vets and vet techs take their time to listen to me and they don't make me feel like they are in a rush. I was there when there was an emergency with another animal. They explained there was an emergency, but my pets care was still complete. They did not skimp on my pet's care because they had another, sicker pet in another room and I really appreciate and respect that you all have the ability to do that!!!

Everyone who works at this office has been wonderful, appointments are easy to make, and they take great care of my cats!

All of the staff are so friendly and welcoming! My visits are always pleasant. Would recommend 100%!

They always make you feel like your pet is super special, because they ARE super special. They seem to help the high turnover with their vets and their prices are pretty high, which sent me looking elsewhere, but I found myself coming back due to how much they seem to love animals and how thorough they are with explaining your pets health status with you

Dr. Anderson and (I wish I had caught the tech's names) were AMAZING. I brought my sweet old girl Harley in, who had a broken toenail. She needed to be sedated and have the nail removed. They were so gentle with her, got down on her level, and gave her all the loving while doing the exam. She is a very timid dog, and they could sense that immediately. They were so patient with her. I have now decided I will be bringing my other dog Neo to Southside Animal Hospital. He has no self-confidence and is scared of everyone, but I feel like the staff at SAH can help me bring him out of his shell. I HIGHLY recommend using SAH. I promise you won't regret it!

This has been the vet my cats have been going to for 10+ years. I would not take them anywhere else. Everyone who works there is great, compassionate, friendly, knowledgeable and animal lovers! They work with you on options of treatment should you need it. Always will recommend here! Dr. Spivey is great as are all the other veterinarians.

Southside Animal Hospital has been our vetinarian of choice for over 20 years. The entire staff is compassionate, always responsive, and I've never felt as if we were being rushed through an appointment. If you want a vet that understands our fur babies are family, this is the animal hospital you.

I can’t thank the staff at Southside enough for the compassion and care shown this past weekend. Domino is back to her normal self, demanding food and a lap. Thanks to everyone there at Southside!!!

The vets and techs are animal lovers and professionals. They take the time to get to know your pet and allow plenty of time for questions. My dog never wants to leave, and he is a pampered baby at home. Very happy with Southside. ❤️

I just moved to Nashville a couple months ago and SSAH has been incredible every time I’ve brought my dog in. This place couldn’t have a more kind and caring staff! To those who helped work me in last minute to take care of my sick dog in time for me to still catch my flight for work today, thank you! Y’all are the best! Dr. Flinn and her vet assistant were so great! Both took the time to answer any questions we had. Dr. Flinn was very knowledgeable and I was completely comfortable with her expertise

Everyone made me (and my cat, Jim) feel so welcome and comfortable. Kacey and Dr. Spivey were incredibly kind and so knowledgeable. They both explained everything so well to me, giving me options and walking through each step/process of my visit. They were transparent with cost upfront and loved on my cat as if he were their own. Our pet has been a patient here for several years. We recently had a medical emergency and Dr Anderson saw us right away. The staff spent a long time with our dog and explained his treatment in detail. Zeus is improving every day. We have also boarded him here as well and have had a good experience with that.

Southside is a great vet! The workers there are always super sweet to my furbabies and try to make things as least stressful as possible. They have always been very responsive to any questions I've had and I'd recommend them to anyone in the area.

This was the second building our shed cat had ever been inside, the other being our house. I was really nervous. But the staff was so sweet and kind and friendly, they put us both at ease. Kenny didn’t cry, scratch, or bite. He was calm and cool. Everyone was so good to him. I was really grateful.
