Apparently the receptionist cares nothing about new business. I tried to get an appointment and she seemed very “put out” by even talking to me. They will not stay as busy as she obviously was today if there isn’t an attitude change.

Dr. Strange and his staff are amazing! My dear dog hadn't been feeling well and they were able to get her in for 2 visits on very short notice right before the New Year holiday when I'm sure their schedules were packed. 5 stars aren't enough!!! I highly recommend this clinic for your pets!

Always excellent care from all staff. They appear to love our babies our little girl was so sick we didn't think we would have her with us.

The service I received here was good and they were friendly. However, I was quoted $50 on the phone for an exam to have my pets ears examined for a ear infection that my pet gets regularly. Every other place that he has been to before they’ve always cleaned his ears out and sent him home with medication. I was expecting his exam to be such as that. But I feel like this veterinary practice is price gouging for every little thing they can without being upfront with pricing. At no point was I told that if they clean his ears and look in his ears for yeast that that would be an additional $70. The cleaning in and of itself took all but three pieces of Kleenex and maybe five minutes. I feel like it’s just common courtesy to mention that that is not included with the already $50 examination fee. Not to mention the eardrops they sent home were $50 (you can get them for half that price on chewy)

Dr. Strange was always very friendly at each visit. We have never been there for anything out of the ordinary, just wellness checks and vaccinations, so I cannot speak to his expertise in such cases. The one time we needed to come in the same day was when our older Aussie had a ruptured anal gland. Called in the morning but they told us they wouldn't be able to see him until several business days later. When we really needed the vet, he wasn't available, so we've been going somewhere else ever since.

Two stars because customer service on the phone seemed sufficient however when I got to the location and the vet technician came out to check me in it was a very unpleasant experience. I am not sure if she was having a bad day or what but I knew right then and there with the way she was talking to me, I didn't want to go through with the appointment and asked that we just cancel and I go somewhere else. It's so important that you feel listened to and that there is the utmost kindness, compassion, understanding and professionalism when dealing with an ill pet. It's never a good feeling when you talk to someone and they more or less seem annoyed that you even showed up. That you took off from work, got up early, waited in the parking lot and are met with an irritated technician. And I am nothing but nice and I expect the same in return. Unfortunately, I am new to the area and was a new client. I'm pretty disappointed but the good news is that there are vet clinics in every corner of this town. Hoping for better vibes and better hospitality to say the least lol

We love Harpeth Hill Animal Hospital. The staff is super friendly and treats your animals just like you would. We have been going to them for 8 years. Very knowledgeable and helpful whenever we have had any issues with our dogs. We know they are good when my dogs want to go inside. We also get our dogs groomed at this location. Nancy does a wonderful job. Thanks guys for being so awesome!

I loved this place at first, however, when my baby got extremely sick and was diagnosed with cancer they really showed their colors when she needed an urgent immediate follow up visit...the oncologist she was seeing at BPVP had called my everyday vet asking if she could be seen and if I could just take her there immediately since it was only 5 mins away vs throwing her in the car and driving 35 mins to the emergency clinic. The office staff questioned the need of her coming there and said we can give her an injection but the Dr won’t examine her because “there’s nothing else we can do for her.” The oncologist literally just wanted a vet to have hands on her to check her breathing and see if there were any other issues causing her pain or not to eat sooner rather than later and they wouldn’t even accommodate me...and then when I asked to speak with the Dr the office staff again told me that the Dr said she’s not a patient of ours anymore since she is dealing with the oncologist and there isn’t nothing we can do. Seriously!? You couldn’t just see her and report back to the oncologist to help your patient out and allow for less stress/travel on a dog that was already struggling? A 5 min drive and a request by the oncologist themself and they literally just denied it and told me to take her back to BPVP—which I clearly ended up having to since they wouldn’t work with us on this. I was very upset, disappointed and angry to say the least. Clearly once you see a specialist they did not seem to care what happened next and it was very evident and I was in shock—as this staff had always been so great up until this whole situation. I will not go back to this location after this. I hope the team can work on how they handle situations like this in the future. Thankfully BluePearl Veterinary Partners was amazing with everything and really took care of us for the time my baby had left.

I live 35 minutes away from Harpeth Hills and continue to bring my pets to be cared for by their wonderful staff. When I bring my cats and dogs in, I know they are in the best of hands, and I know that the staff will do whatever they can to make my pets healthy and happy. They have been there for me and my pets through euthanasia, a leukemia scare, kidney disease, diabetes, and raising a litter of kittens from one day old! I can never say enough about what they mean to my family. They even laugh with me when I have to call and see if I need to be concerned that my cat just ate the wax covering off of a Babybel cheese.

Great doctors and text who generally care about your animals! I know many people who go there for the great service. Sometimes the service upfront at the desk is a little slow and not so on point, but other than that service seems to be pretty good there.

Fantastic staff here - first visit was quick, easy and pleasant. My dog is a nervous wreck and they seemed really invested in making sure he was comfortable. Thanks to Hayley, Colleen (?), and Dr. Strange for the exceptional service

Best vet we’ve ever been to with our cats. One of them usually has to be sedated for vet visits... not here with dr. Strange and his staff!!!

Dr. Strange and staff have taken very good care of my dog Pete since I moved here two years ago. They were always very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful with any situation. When it came time to put him down two weeks ago they went above and beyond. They were very respectful of the situation and my feelings and made both of us comfortable. When I went to pick up his ashes they had made a mold of his pawprint shaped into a heart. Then a few days later in the mail I received a sympathy card signed by Dr. Strange and all of the staff. I can't describe how nice those two things were and how they made me feel but it really showed how much they care. If any of them are reading this, from the bottom of my heart, thank you.

Dr's Strange and Wehby are incredible veterinarians. Very loving & interested in our pets health. Staff is also very helpful! Highly recommend them.

Dr. Strange, Dr. Webby, and staff are all amazing. They take the time to get to know each pet's unique needs, so can handle our cat who turns from super sweet to vicious/angry during any examination. The assistants (and a special thank you to Jennifer!) sit on the floor with her to calm her and help her relax before doing anything else. It makes a big difference for her and us. They also handle our skittish rescue dog perfectly. We are so happy to have found this team to care for our pets after moving to Nashville!

My family's pets have always been (since I was 5) patients of Harpeth Hills Animal Hospital. Dr. Strange, Dr. Wehby, and Dr. K are amazing at what they do and over the last 30+ years have been with us through adoptions, rainbow bridge escorts, and everything in between, giving our pets the absolute best care you could ask for. Their current patients, Cupcake and Nelson, are always well-cared-for when they visit.

They provide such great care. All of their staff seem to really care about your pet. They're extremely friendly and loving with both of my dogs. They provided great recommendations and medical advice. With COVID as well, it was great to see their commitment to your own health by doing curbside service. Absolutely phenomenal. I cannot say enough great things about this animal hospital.

This has been our Vet since I moved to Nashville. Dr. Strange and Dr. Wehby have always taken great care of the kids.

Dr. Strange and his staff are amazing! They take the time to let our dog get to know them and trust them before even looking at her. I've never seen a vet or office do that! He took the time to really explain what was going on, and just had an amazing bed side manner.
