On March 28 I took my little Shitzu Darlin to be groomed at Doggie Doo's in Bellevue. When I took her in she had long beautiful fur. They were going to do a "summer cut". When I picked her up she and myself were in shock. They had basically "skinned her" and she had nicks on her body. When I got her home she was violently and continually shaking her head and scratching her ears. Her ears were flinching constantly. When I checked her ears, they were so red to the point of being bloody. It looked like they had "gouged" them in cleaning them. Shortly she started having chills. I took her to vet the next day. They said it looked like they had clipped her so close that it had irritated the skin to the point it would feel like razor burn to her. They gave her a steroid shot to try to calm down the pain. They said she had water in her ears. I don't know why they were so rough with her or what they actually did to her but she is still having problems. It has now been a week and a half later. I noticed she seemed to be having hearing difficulties. She has always has perfect hearing to the point of being able to whisper to her. I took her to another vet yesterday and he said she has very little hearing now and has water still in her ears. It has traumatized her to the point she does not want to be out of my sight. I don't know what they did to her but I know it was not a pleasant or natural grooming visit. I called them about it and they said they would have owner call me but they never did. I placed a call a couple of days later and left word I never did get call from owner. No one has returned my call. I will never go back there. I would be so afraid to leave her ever again there. I am just hoping she can return to her happy little self that she was when I took her in to be groomed. After large vet bills it turned into an expensive grooming visit but the saddest part is the trauma and pain my little little one has been experiencing since that day.

Very good work on our dogs, you can see that they are taken very good care of. Highly recommend them, prices are very reasonable too.
