Thank you to the Barking Spot for always being willing to take good care of our big dog, Moses! He can be a little anxious and it makes us feel great to know he is well taken care of!

Very unprofessional and rude. Do not recommend using this place for boarding. Unless you don't care if they follow your instructions.

They way this lady replies to her customers and berates them after leaving honest reviews is not helping her image at all. Not professional and very rude

This is the best facility ever! My little dog Daisy is here 5 days a week for daycare, and is so very happy to see Alan, the daycare manager, that she literally jumps into his arms in the morning. Considering she doesn’t even do that to my dad, that says a lot to me! On top of that, the grooms are top quality. She has never looked so good! I love this place!

Wouldn’t recommend just based on owner responses, and continuous issues I see with this business posted on “Hip Gallatin”, and the rude manner of this owner. Go take a customer service class lady. I’d recommend Rover for dog boarding- primarily Michelle :) or The Critter Clinic. Where rudeness is not an issue….

It was difficult for me to leave my pup the first time, but the staff was so patient and kind and took the time to go over what my pup's routine would be when she was there. When i came to pick Jozie up, her excitement to see me was short lived as she wanted to go back and be with her friends. She continues toLOVE the Barking Spot!!!

Tish is awesome. We love that our dog gets to run instead of being kenneled up while we are gone.

I definitely would recommend the Barking Spot

My dog was only there for 3 days. When we picked her up they handed us her toy of bags and bed that we sent with her. The bed was DISGUSTING with dirt and had blood streaks all over it. Her treats were completely gone (I sent enough for dayssss) and her food almost gone! She has not eaten in 3 days since being home, is super stressed, on high alert being soooo nervous and has vomited several times!!! We asked for doggie daycare, but she did not get to go. They said she was not a good “fit”! The owner up front was very un-engaged and short with NO eye contact!!! We never saw any videos while away and only 3 close up pics the day we we’re driving back from our weekend. Her report said she was social!!?? Never saw her playing or in her run. I don’t know what happened to her, but something very disturbing had to have happened! We will never take our girl back to the Barking Spot again!!! Ohhhhh and the ONlY pictures they post are from the groomers! No posts or pictures about boarding!!!!!!!

I highly recommend the Barking Spot! The staff is friendly, welcoming and they truly love animals and want to do everything possible for your dog. I drive 1.5 hours one way every month for my dogs to be groomed there. They have a grooming staff that is above par.

I have had nothing but great and wonderful experiences with The Barking Spot and the owners. I have used all the services, grooming, daycare, and boarding. They always take great care of my puppy, and she LOVES going there to get groomed and go to daycare. I’ve used many other boarding and grooming services, and will never go back, as The Barking Spot greatly outshines all other places. Concerning grooming, they are always punctual and my dog looks amazing every time. They groomers are always nice and professional, and the facility is so clean and spotless, it shines! With daycare services, all of the daycare monitors are amazing, they know me and my dog, and my dog is so excited to see and play with everyone. They have tons of staff that do a wonderful job connecting with my dog and monitoring to ensure everyone’s safety. I saw the facility before it became The Barking Spot under the previous owners, and it was unorganized and pretty dirty. Since the owners of The Barking Spot took over, it is clean, sanitary, organized, and very safe! I would trust them only with my dog!

I came here from the hip Gallatin Facebook post. The owners character is prevalent in those comments and their replies to some of the poor reviews. As a business owner with class, you listen to the bad reviews and quietly undertake the issues instead of stooping to a lower level by name calling and uglieness in your replies. Quite embarrassing

This was my springer's 2nd visit to the Barking Spot for grooming. I was so happy with the 1st visit, I brought the pup back again. And I am equally pleased with this visit.

Our dogs (lab and chihuahua) have stayed here on multiple occasions and always come home happy! We love their doggie playtime option and roomy runs. Recently we had a death in the family and they went above and beyond to fit us in last minute on a holiday week. Highly recommend the barking spot!

I needed a groomer that could bathe and pamper my sweet natured GSD. The Barking Spot came highly recommended so I made an appointment for Apollo. My fur baby looks absolutely gorgeous, and struts around the house with the confidence of a show pony. I will definitely take Apollo back for future bath/deshed services.

We love The Barking Spot! They even sent us photos of our dogs while we were away. Always nice and very professional. We don’t have to worry about our fur babies while we are out of town. We highly recommend them!!

Such a great experience for my pup. He practically grew up there, as he visited weekly for daycare. It’s such a well run operation. All spaces are very clean, inside temps are always at dog comfort level, scheduling is organized, and they take health risks seriously as a precaution to other pets health. I was really looking forward to having my dog kept at the barking spot due to the advertised runs. Knowing she’d have access to an indoor and outdoor structure as she pleased sounded like a great option while I was out of town for a wedding. Unfortunately when I went to pick her up she was absolutely disgusting. Her fur was filthy and she smelled so bad we had to open every window in the car on our way home. To make matters worse, they returned her toys to us and they were full of ants. We couldn’t get a grooming slot that worked with our schedule but I didn’t expect her to be “that” filthy. The lady at the counter even asked if I had a grooming appointment and seemed concerned that I didn’t have one. Finally, the cherry on top…today I spent my morning at the vet during walk-in hours because My dog caught kennel cough. She was vaccinated but here we are. To my surprise, the vet said that multiple clients came in with the same problem from boarding their dogs at this establishment. The staff was super nice, but to have so many issues after….and having the vet tell me to send my bills to the barking spot because of the number of sick dogs they’ve treated in the past 2 weeks….it’s not right. Please do something to take better care of the animals we trust you with.

Very good except I have yet to get my dogs seresto collar they accidently kept.

We are so grateful for Paula and Don and everyone at the Barking Spot. We have boarded our boys there twice now for a week at a time, and the always come back so happy and excited, and sometimes exhausted (in the best way) from all the love and pampering. First time grooming experience & Kailey did an AMAZING job!!! I have a poodle mix that seems to always be an issue when it comes to finding a consistently good and well done groom but I was honestly blown away by how good my pup looks!

Sam and Dean our German Shepards love going to the Barking spot. Paula and Paul have always be helpful and very friendly. The staff are so kinda to our dogs and us. You can tell they love what they ate doing. So blessed to have them watching over our babies. ????

The Barking Spot daycare & grooming is your one shop spot for your fur babies!! I love it here and so do the dogs! They get their energy out while playing with other dogs in a great safe environment. You know they've had a great time when they come home & just sleep. We've been going here for over a year and always have a great experience. The deshedding and bath is great for my husky, always smells and looks awesome. My welsh terrier gets a great haircut too!! Paula, Don and staff are great!!

Took both of my super hairy and shedding lab mixes here to get a bath. Very friendly staff!! Whoever bathed them did amazing!!!! They were super soft after and brushed through thoroughly. Thank you so much for taking time to give a good bath ????????????????????

Great place for your Fur Babies! Our two dog's look forward to coming to daycare and come home well worn out and sleep for hours. They are still both fairly young and need this type of exercise instead of sleeping all day at home. Highly recommend.

We’ve been bringing Indy to the barking spot since day one for daycare and boarding and we absolutely love it! He is always so excited to get to play with his friends at daycare everyday, and when we need to board him we know he is getting taken care of and loved while we’re gone. Thank you all for taking such good care of our baby!

Our high energy puppy Stella loves to go to Barking Spot’s daycare 5 days a week. She seems to look forward to it every morning and is exhausted when we pick her up. It is much better than her laying around the house all day and not expending any energy. Everyone there knows her and greets her with a smile everyday. We also use Barking Spot for occasional boarding and the facilities are very clean and our pets are well cared for. We also use the grooming services and we are always asked exactly what we want and have always been very pleased with the results. I highly recommend The Barking Spot for any of the services they offer. Exceptionally friendly staff that we know care for our pets.
