I like Dr. Albet however I have had extreme problems with the front desk. The same girl continues to schedule my cat with cancer whenever she chooses (even missing her medication) and now that I complained she rescheduled and said my appt was yesterday instead of today. I know that's not the case bc I had my boyfriend with me and he also wrote it down to be sure. Soooo, I belive I have to take my cat to another vet bc Charity has an attitude problem. Unacceptable behavior for any front desk or "gatekeeper" type of job. I do believe she has a personal problem with my ex sister in law that used to work there and/or just couldn't admit she was wrong so she's given me a hard time. It's really unfair. Good luck.

Bellevue Animal Hospital has been amazing! They have helped us so much through getting 2 new kittens that came to us sick. Dr. Peeler and Kim have been especially helpful in many ways. They call to check in, have given us great information and resources through a very unexpected time, and are truly compassionate and caring individuals. We cannot thank the whole team there enough!

So far so good nothing but positive experience

I'm not sure how to begin to express my gratitude to this clinic. My dog had a tumor on her leg and my original vet was booked out by four weeks. I didn't want to wait that long to get the tumor removed, so I called every vet clinic in the area. Everyone was booked out by several weeks. I called Bellevue Animal hospital, not thinking I would get a surgery sooner than a month, but, to my surprise, they were able to schedule my dog for a pre-op exam the next day and surgery the following week! I was so relieved and grateful that they could care for her. The vet did an excellent job and removed the tumor with clean margins. The post-op care was exhausting for everyone. We took her multiple times for bandage changes/check-ups. They worked diligently to ensure the wound was healing properly. Today, she is fully recovered and happily running and enjoying the nice weather. I'm so grateful to James and Dr. Abelt and the whole staff. My other dog has hip dysplasia, and they were really helpful in advising me on her care. Everyone here is kind, patient, and willing to answer all my questions. Honestly, the best experience I've had at a vet clinic.

So glad I switched from Belle Forest. BluePearl and Bradford Animal Hospital are the only ones that should be used other than here. Dealt with Bradford for about 30 years. I hope to spend 30 with BAH.

I would let Dr. Abelt take out my appendix if he thought it necessary. I trust him with my family of cats

Dr. Susan was very compassionate when I had to put my kitty to sleep. She made it a very hard thing easier to take for me and comfortable for my baby.

They saved my sweetie, I mean not really saved, but he did have to have major surgery and a bunch of teeth removed and they did a fabulous job, well written directions for at home care, super friendly staff, I've been bringing my dogs there for the last 15 years, even though I live far away now I still drive there, I trust this establishment with my pets lives! ????

Very nice, professional group. Due to covid restrictions my interactions with them have been limited mainly to phone calls or car service only. Some services seem limited and/or pricey but I've had positive experiences.

If I could give over 5 stars I would! Even with all the craziness with Covid and not being able to go in Dr. Peeler took the time to answer all of my questions. My cat has a lot of behavioral issues so I worried about finding a vet that would be understanding of that. Dr. Peeler and the rest of the staff were so great! If you are looking for a vet I high recommend you check out the Bellevue Animal Hospital!

The doctors are so kind and knowledgeable! Cost was quite reasonable and our little pup is feeling so much better! ALSO-Dr Susan is an EXCELLENT BIRD VET! Very knowledgeable and helpful with our Goffin cockatoo! There aren’t too many vets in Nashville that take care of birds so i highly recommend Bellevue Animal Hospital!

Just had my dog spayed and am so thankful for the staff.

They have been so great with my new puppy delivering his vaccines and making sure we have all the information we need. From what I can gather, they are also much cheaper than a lot of other vets in the area and do a tremendous job! They are very friendly and happy to answer all questions, including when we wanted to get him double checked for some soreness. They have been very generous, and I would highly encourage you to take your pet here!

I had to have my 14 year old dog in bad Health put down. Cremation and burial plot service was available. You can keep the ashes or not. I took the option of having the ashes returned to me in a wooden box with the pets name on it. This was nicely done and the service was outstanding.

My Huskies are treated very well here. With COVID, I am unable to go in with them, but they come out happy so I know they are being well taken care of. And the communication is great!

Great enthusiastic people, who clearly love what they do! Also quite knowledgeable and not afraid of explaining details, which I enjoy.

I recently experienced one of the most traumatic days of my life when my elderly yellow lab was charged and attacked by a pit bull in our neighborhood. My usual vet “couldn’t fit us in” so I drove to Bellevue Animal Hospital panicked, without calling, and they squeezed us in, given the emergency circumstances. They were kind, courteous, and extremely helpful while I was an emotional wreck. They took great care of my dog and now she’s doing much better just a short 4 days later. The vet came out to speak to me even though he didn’t have to (given the pandemic) and every staff member there that day eased my mind. I cannot thank this team and business enough and highly recommend them to anyone in the Bellevue area. I have a wellness plan/pet insurance elsewhere that I’ll be canceling now to come here instead!

I arrived a few minutes before my appointment time and was greeted by a wonderful woman working the front desk. Unfortunately, the wait time was very long - including 25 minutes when I had been moved to a private exam room. (A total of 45 minutes of waiting time AFTER my appointment time.) Honestly, I know that in an animal hospital stuff happens - the biggest issue for me was this entire time no one acknowledged the time, apologized, etc. It was treated as if it is normal? When a vet tech came in they did not introduce themselves and took my dog outside of the exam room for his shots. I never met a vet. The whole process of treating my dog only took about 3 minutes and we were on our way but I felt rather off-put the lack of openness on who was treating my pet (since it was my first visit and I had never met anyone) as well as the very long wait with no explanation. The unprofessional behavior was most highlighted in the few minutes that my dog was outside of the private exam room when another tech slammed open the door and said, "Oh! You're still here!" before immediately slamming the door closed without time for an answer or response. I think the vet work/pet examination was probably just fine but not impressed with the general treatment from the staff. Hopefully this is an abnormally trip which, judging from the many happy reviews, it is.

My dog was injured at a dog park and needed to be seen. I made a call on a Monday morning and NO vets were in that day. None. On a Monday. The two times I’d been previously I’d felt very rushed. So, I had by dog’s forms transferred to Pet Vets in Grassland, they were able to see him immediately that Monday morning, and wow best decision ever made.

We’ve been here for both our cat and dog. Excellent service with each appointment. Our kitty of 13 years had her time come and Dr. Jeff made every step of the nightmare a little easier. We are forever grateful and would recommend this vet to anyone.

They always take great care of my dog, both with boarding and vet services. All the people who work there have great attitudes and remember my dog and the other pets who come in. Love them!

We've had really good experiences taking our dog and cat here. The front desk staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They were happy to walk me through giving an oral medicine to my very resistant dog; they were patient with me even when I called them back several times for pointers. Dr. Jeff and Susan are very nice as well.
