From Kristen answering the calls being so professional and caring trying to work your baby in on that "not planned visit" to Nicole taking you to a room trying to evaluate the situation, comfort your fur baby and you. She has such a sweet soul and a love for animals. We have seen and have our experience with Dr. Theresa Millet, DVM and Dr. Jessica Jennings, DVM and they both are such nice and caring Doctors. If we needed to see another Doctor there we wouldn't hesitate. Everyone we have met is wonderful. So worth the 1 hour drive. Will continue to go there to give our babies the BEST care we can give them. ❤ THANKS STONES RIVER VETERINARY!

They take really great care of our pets whenever we're on vacation. It's good to know that caring employees are taking care of the pets when you can't be there.

We're very helpful. We were out of town when our dog had an emergency. They fit her in on a very busy Friday. Thank you.

The veterinarian still talks to you and they take their time getting to know your dog. They always pick up the phone and are willing to get you in.

Couldn't ask for a better vet. They continuously go above and beyond to make sure my high energy dog is getting the best care possible. They also have a great rewards system on their app!

We took our cat in because he was not feeling well. We were told he had a urinary blockage and that our options were to pay $2800 for their treatment plan or euthanasia. We were devastated to say the least because we could not spend this amount of money. Luckily, while they were giving us time to talk, I called another animal hospital who told us that the exact same treatment plan would be $1058. We left and took our cat there and he is doing great. Their pricing is ridiculous and they were willing to let us put down an otherwise healthy young cat because we weren't able to pay the ridiculous amount. As we were leaving, the vet said she would take her animals to the other hospital, as well. What does that say about their quality of care?

I had my dog groomed yesterday and afterward she was acting very strange, not obeying and closely following at my heels. It is now apparent that she cannot hear. I called Stones River to ask if a vet could look at her ears to see what may have happened. I was informed that there would be a full exam fee just to look at her ears, $65, and if they did an ear swab, it would be another $51. The only way they would see her is for me to drop her off this morning and leave her there ALL DAY to "work her in". Such compassion! NOT.

We have been several times with both of our dogs for regular visits, dental cleanings and tooth extractions. Everyone has always been professional and helpful which is why I have 2 star instead of one, but the cost is more than any vet we have used prior. We changed to this one because we moved across town and it was much more convenient. However, after seeing the charges for the most recent tooth extraction we will not be going back. To be clear, I am a physician and I can get my patients blood work done for half the price. My dentist friend charges less for dental cleanings than this practice. Even the regular check ups I would have to decline some testing because it was outrageous. The last checkup we had for our 2 dogs was over $300. The dental extraction bill this time was $1495. Let me know when you have competitive pricing and we will come back, otherwise good luck with your practice.

I will say when I got my first dog last year I chose stones river because of the 5 star rating on Google. I did not know what to think because I am afraid of being over charged and being told something is wrong just to get my money, but I can say with confidence the vets at stones river have my animals best interest in mind and my pockets best interest as well. They will not do anything that I don't ask them to do and they aren't trying to get me to spend more and more like other vets have. The best part, their prices are actually pretty reasonable. (Not for spay neuter, Beasley's clinic is the place to go for that) but the visit prices and vaccines are very reasonable. 5 stars. Will bring other animals that I adopt.

We had the best experience at SRVH!! From reception when the amazing and caring front desk associate held the leash of my anxious 100lb 9month old Great Dane, then let Blue basically sit in her lap. To meeting Abby the vet tech who Blue fell in love with and claimed as her person, to then meeting Dr. Jennings. Every aspect of the visit was seamless, the staff was passionate and reassuring, the vet was kind and welcoming and very caring. After Blue had a few bad experiences at another vet’s office in the area, we were concerned we wouldn’t find a place to take her. We’ve now found THE place. I would recommend anyone go to see the crew at Stones River Animal Hospital, even for “happy visits” as Dr. Jennings calls them! Love it here!!!

I am new to the area and my German Shepherd got so sick with vomiting and diarrhea. I was glad to get him in the next day from me calling (no same day appointments :-(. ) Even though I wasn't able to go in the staff was wonderful at letting me know what was going on with my man. The Vet was well informative, gave options, lisioned to his past history, and was personable. I will be a regular from now on.

I brought my fur baby in for an emergency because he was vomiting for several days and just not feeling well at all. Stones River is not my dog’s primary vet but they were the only vet that could see him on such short notice. I was a walk-in on a very busy Saturday morning but they took him back for testing right away. Due to the pandemic I wasn’t able to go in with my baby but everyone here made me feel at ease. They were very understanding of my concerns and listen to me ramble on about his symptoms and seemed genuinely concerned and eager to help my fury baby and ease my mind. They said testing could take an hour or longer and they would call me to come back when they were done. They got him back to see the doctor surprisingly fast and tested and diagnose in less than an hour. The doctor called me personally and was one of the friendliest veterinarian I have talked to! She explained to me in great detail what was wrong with him and their treatment plan. She did not rush me and answered all my question. If I lived closer I would definitely be using them regularly. Their exam fee is a little high but the service you can’t beat. I feel a veterinarian should be to your furry baby as a pediatrician should be to your human baby. Patient and have an extreme love for the patience they see. You sure get this here!!! A++ Stones River!

Had to get my pup in pretty quickly and her regular vet couldn’t schedule her soon enough and referred me to Stones River Vet clinic. I’m so glad they did! They were very responsive, all the staff was kind, and the vet called me personally to go over everything with me. Thank you for helping us!
