Our pets love going here whether it's for a bath or quick nail trim. You can tell that everyone here loves dogs and treats them like they are their own pets.

This place rocks. I booked not knowing the pick-up policy and they worked with me to get my pup to me on time. It was very kind of them to try to accommodate my schedule, even though it was my fault. As an added plus, my pup looked EXTRA adorable. Highly recommend!

Bernedoodle was shaved (Cut really close) and lost the look of a Bernedoodle. This was his 2nd cut there. The first one was beautiful. Called and informed the stylist and I was very upset and not professional. The lady tried to blame it on my wife but I corrected her. Asked for Devin to call back and no call back that day. It seems that the owner is having something personal going on and is out of the office and the business is suffering because of it. Still waiting for him to call. (Picture is example, not actual but close) No call no follow-up. Devin canceled follow up appointment without reaching out to either one of us after seeing this review. My wife called and was informed that with this review, he assumed that we did not want to come back, that was not the case. She explained that we were waiting to for a call back too. Nothing was resolved. I wish him the best. - 11 10 2021 - Again, no call, just responses on this review.

Our experience with my puppy parlor is always stellar! My dog is a bit high energy/nervous and they're always so patient with her! She always comes back smelling fresh and looking great. She also comes back happy as if she's had a great time! Thanks my puppy parlor!

I never leave Google reviews, but after my first experience with Devin at My Puppy Parlor this week I knew I had to! My dog Lily has a history of getting incredibly anxious and nippy when being groomed. Devin took the time to explain how he would work with her and made me feel at ease leaving her with him. When I picked her up he walked me through what he’d been able to accomplish and didn’t charge me for the extra services that were going to be too much for her on her first visit. We will definitely be back, the care and attention Devin pays to his fur clients is evident and Lily’s cut and brush out look great!

The groomer did such a good job with my dog molly! He did everything so well and even gave her a mermaid curcheif and little barrettes on her ears, definitely worth the value!

My dog came back with dirty eyes, no bandanna or cologne for $71.00???? and the WORKER told me through text, that my dog couldn’t come back until getting on anxiety meds, never considering that maybe they just didnt vibe or didn’t like her vibe etc. Won’t ever be returning!

I am devastated to even be writing this review. We’ve been getting our goldendoodle groomed every 6-8 weeks for 2 years now and although sometimes he’s had spots of mats, our prior groomer always did a fantastic job. We just moved to the area, looking for a new groomer, and My Puppy Parlor came highly recommended from a friend. Trusting them and not all of the negative reviews, we decided to give it a try. At drop off, we were very clear that we did not want him shaved. At no point were we ever consulted about the possibility of our dog’s hair getting shaved. We didn’t even recognize our dog after picking him up. They shaved him to the bone, including his tail. Our other dog doesn’t recognize him and has become aggressive with him. And while not physically injured, his behavior has been extremely out of character. We’ve never seen him act like this before, to the point we’re considering taking him to the vet to be looked at. This whole experience has been traumatic to say the least. Rest assured the friend who referred us and everyone else we know who priorly used this business will NEVER be returning. If you care for the health and safety for your dog, go somewhere else!!!!!!!!! *Edit* To include photos. The owner insists that there was “extreme matting” that presented a “health concern” which as you can see from our before photos is not true. And if it was, would be odd that the vet he saw a week prior for his annual visit didn’t mention this “health concern” but this amateur groomer did. Regardless, the lady who groomed him discussed with us before and asked “do you want him shaved for a summer cut?” And we adamantly said no shaving, just trimming. To which she nodded and said “yes, yes, okay.” We should have at least been consulted for consent before this drastic action was taken. To which we would have immediately picked him up and taken him somewhere else. It’s been a day and our dog still isn’t acting like himself. I don’t know what they did to him there, but this place should be shut down. **The owner has been reporting and removing my reviews on various platforms so they are taken down when NO violations have been broken!! This business is a scam!!**

My first google review, but at this point it is completely necessary to share my experience. I would not recommend this place for those with Goldendoodles. I have taken my pup there for over a year now, with appointments every 3-4 weeks. As a pup with such curly hair it is crucial for her not to be shaved. This is the second time I have taken my pup there and have picked up a completely, shaved to the skin, pup. During drop offs I was told her fur, in areas that showed matting, was manageable but they would call if any shaving was needed. Both times they have shaved her completely down without any notice. Not to mention charged an extra fee for the shave without notice, as well. After trying to stick it out here and multiple calls with the staff, everything has been completely disregarded and no accountability for the lack of communication. It would be different if my pup did not have frequent appointments, but I have kept her on a schedule to avoid this at all costs. We will not be returning as it is evident the staff does not communicate with customers, does not take accountability and is not capable of creating a schedule for a pup to keep up with the maintenance of their fur and actual follow through with it.

Miracle of miracles! This dog, Bernice, the most scared dog in the shelter just 5 months ago, got a bath and her nails trimmed today! The miracle worker, you ask? My Puppy Parlour in Madison, TN. They did a dry run last week and Bernice wasn’t having it. So I had to take her home. The owner said to re-book her next week, give her her anxiety meds and try again. They didn’t even charge me for their time, which was a lot. They spent time getting to know her to build trust and calm her and then they spent time trying to bathe her. I took her back for her second trip today, fully expecting that she wouldn’t let them bathe her. But they called 45 minutes and said it was successful! I am shocked! Devin, the owner, really poured his heart into her. He was so proud of her he gave her a free toy.

Have never left a google review before, but based on my experience with My Puppy Parlor felt necessary to share. My fiance wrote a review yesterday that I now assume was removed by the owner. We've been getting our goldendoodle groomed every 6-8 weeks for 2 years and while he does get a few mats, our previous groomer always did a fantastic job. Always left with a perfect trim, with some areas where mats were conditioned, brushed, or trimmed shorter. We are new to the area and referred to this location from a friend. At drop off we were very clear we did not want him shaved. Was asked if we wanted a summer cut/buzz, and told them no, only a trim. When picking up our dog, he was entirely shaved. Very uneven in spots, some areas so short that it appears to have caused discomfort to our dog. We didn't recognize our dog when picking him up. I will admit, my fiance called back and yelled at the staff and owner. The owner described this as bullying, but just isn't true. We have another dog at home who barely recognizes him now and became aggressive when returning home. The dog who was groomed has been acting very skittish and not himself over the last 24 hours. We could have handled the situation better, but are very protective and passionate about our dogs. I was able to also talk to the owner, and calmly talked through my frustration with their treatment of my dog. He blamed us for not taking care of our dog appropriately (mats), made excuses for his staff, and never once apologized or offered to make the situation better. I never received a call during the 2.5 hours he was getting groomed to explain that our dog may need to be shaved. If this was the case I would have picked up our dog and gone elsewhere. Not the level of customer service or treatment you would expect when paying $71 for a cut and nail trim. This review will likely also be removed, but I hope that it is seen by a few people and they are made aware to be careful when taking your dog to this location.

A simple call asking was my pet ready to be picked up. Became a BIG MESS. The owner Devin was VERY unprofessional, rude and disrespectful. After he disrespected and was rude to me. He then told me I needed to find a new groomer. Like I was going to bring my pet back there after he disrespected me. It is other great groomers around town and I will be gladly to take my money else where. After I paid $92.00 for my service he was still rude and disrespectful still have not sent me my receipt that I have asked for. That’s not even half of the problem or Issue. Please do not take your fur babies to the NASTY EVIL PLACE………

They did a great job grooming my Airedale puppy! I warned them that she gets anxious when being groomed but they took it slow and let her have breaks so she wouldn’t freak out! Great service, reasonable prices, and very kind staff! We will definitely be going back.

I want to share my experience with Puppy Parlor I have two fur babies that get groomed every week. They cut my Bichon like a poodle and my cocker spaniel got to where she was scared to go in the building. When I first started going there I spoke to the owner over the phone. And expressed to him I wanted a standing appointment every week. I showed up one week and he said I was not on the schedule and they were booked. So I sent him an email regarding the situation and no response. I would not recommend Puppy Parlor

Solo groomer couldn't handle my pug. I waited 45 minutes for another groomer. Then got told to take my dog elsewhere! Waste of time. Won't be back!

My dog sheds very badly and this is the first time I’ve taken him somewhere and seen a huge difference in shedding! I can tell they really got his under coat good. And I felt like the price was great!

After going to numerous dog groomers, I finally was referred to Devin at Puppy Parlor and have no regrets!!! Super trust worthy, friendly and intelligent. Takes time with your dog and makes sure they are comfortable. I drive 20 minutes to get there - worth it!!

When taking your young puppy to a groomer, you hope to not only receive a high quality bath/cut but also take advantage of their knowledge and prior experience with similar breed/ages when serving your 'fur-baby', especially those that are a breed well-known to have sensitive skin. Unfortunately, this is not what we received. While our pup's hair was shorter when we picked her up, she also had developed a painful rash that we later learned was the makings of a skin infection, which had spread to ALL crevices of her body. After spending an additional $140 at the vet, we received antibiotics and steroids to help curb the infection and accelerate the healing process to provide her with some level of comfort. Subsequently, while Puppy Parlor was open to discussing our concerns and providing additional insights as to how best to avoid this in future, but there was no additional support (i.e., reimbursement, discount, etc.) provided to help us make this right. In a nutshell, you can expect kindness and compassion from Puppy Parlor, but I would certainly say the oneness is on you to know the best products for your puppy ahead of time, before setting an appointment.
