Tates Creek Animal Hospital Lexington, Kentucky

I've been taking both my dog and my cat to Tates Creek Animal Hospital for quite a few years. All the staff and Dr. Sullivan are great. Friendly, attentive, professional; I trust them completely.

Dr Lacey and her staff took my baby boy in as soon as I called. They were sweet patient with him and very helpful. My normal vet is Hartland vet hospital but my vet was out for holiday weekend. Dr Lacey fixed Zeus right up and they even called to check on him afterward. Thank you all for being so wonderful. I highly recommend and will be back too

I wouldn't trust my pets with anyone more than the staff at Tates Creek Animal Hospital! We have visited/called/emailed so many times and they have been so kind every single time. Dr. Sullivan is nothing short of amazing. We also had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Lacy recently, who was fantastic. Take your fur babies here!

I am a travel nurse and i am constantly changing locations. Traveling with 2 dogs can be a challenge when looking for vet appointments. While in Lexington KY my girls needed vet attention. Tate’s creek animal hospital was able to see my pups in a timely fashion and the care they received was first class. Thank you to all the staff at Tate’s Creek for making me and my pups feel like we had been a client for years! ❤️

Dr. Sullivan has seen my dog since she was adopted as a puppy! She was great and super attentive through all the puppy struggles and now is a great vet to have for health prevention and maintenance with my grown up dog. We moved quite a bit further away, but we still make the drive to see her!

Dr. Sullivan and staff are all super friendly and take the time to talk you and give you options. My 13 year old cat was having thyroid and kidney issues and they got us all squared away with meds and some specialty food, my cat is doing wonderful.

The staff is knowledgeable, kind, and understanding when it comes to your concerns, questions, thoughts, etc on your pet's health. Dr. Sullivan took all the time necessary to provide my pet and I with a good experience. Everyone from the reception staff, vet techs to the vet... they all are wonderful and go above & beyond.

We just got our Aussiedoodle, Moose, and took him here to see Dr. Sullivan for his first vet visit! They are the best! They were so sweet, patient, and so helpful with tips, as we are first time dog owners!

First time visit for a newly adopted dog. I was so very impressed with how efficient the process was. Everyone we met was so nice. I feel very comfortable bringing my newest family member here for care. Would recommend them to all. Great job. Sophie enjoyed it as well.!

Very clean and friendly staff. They were also very quick and hands-on when it came to explaining the details of the visit and their recommendations for the overall health of the animals. I will definitely be going back!

Recently we had to say “good-bye” to our dog Rocky. Dr. Sullivan and the staff were so so kind during this process. It was very touching when I received a card from The Lexington Humane Society notifying me that Tates Creek Animal Hospital had made a donation in Rocky’s name. This is a wonderful clinic for your pets.

I had a great experience taking my newly adopted senior cat in for a wellness visit at Tates Creek Animal Hospital. As a first time pet owner I was a little nervous about the visit, especially because I couldn't go in with her due to COVID protocols, but the staff was very welcoming and did an excellent job of explaining everything to me and took the time to answer all of my small questions about my cat's behavior. I will absolutely be bringing my pet back!

Even though this vet is a little more pricey than some others, it’s for a reason! I absolutely love them and will bring my dog here as long as I live in Lexington. They sent us a welcome card when we joined and are always willing and able to fit my dog in for emergencies. Truly appreciate them.

I’m always very happy with the care that Dr Sullivan and all the staffs give to my kitties! They were especially helpful to me recently when Mella was being stressed. She was so much more content on the way home!! Thank you!!

One of the hardest things I’ve had to do was say goodbye to my beloved Dachshund, Wally. I recently moved to Lexington and did not have a vet, so I called the one closest to me. The silver lining of an awful day was the compassion, grace and caring nature of Dr. Sullivan and the staff at Tates Creek Animal Hospital. I started bringing my other dog there and they are incredibly professional, friendly and care about my fur babies as much as I do. I would recommend Tates Creek Animal Hospital to anyone in a second!

This was my first visit for my puppy Buster and everyone was very courteous and helpful. They all loved my little boy and he was so good during his exam.

I have been taking my cats here for years and I love it here. They truly care about your animals and don't try to price gouge you.

I just got a puppy and had to take him for an initial exam/booster shots. During a pandemic, I was so unsure of how to do curbside and how this visit was going to go. They were so punctual (in and out in about 30 minutes) The vet tech came out to my car and was so friendly and willing to answer all questions. Not only did the tech call me once my puppy was in there but the doctor also took the time to speak to me on the phone and address all aspects of the exam and also answered all questions I had regarding having a new puppy in general! Great experience!

Unfortunately, our first experience with TC Animal Hospital came at the end of our cat’s life. She had a very swift decline and needed the compassionate care that Dr. Sullivan ultimately provided. We had just decided to switch from one of the major/nationally owned veterinarian chains in town after several negative and impersonal experiences with the staff, and we are so glad we did. We were torn up about whether euthanasia was the right choice for our cat. We called and were able to be seen the very next morning. Dr. Sullivan and the staff helped us to know we were making the loving choice in letting our little Cleopatra go. We felt informed about our final choice and comforted by the care and patience of everyone at the clinic. Our cat passed quickly and peacefully in our arms with Dr. Sullivan’s help. After cremation, the staff sent us a wonderful sympathy card personally signed by everyone at the clinic. We really appreciated the compassion shown to us and our baby by everyone at TC animal hospital. Though we are no longer pet owners, we would recommend this group to anyone and plan to take all future pets here.

World. Class. Care. The staff is so friendly and accommodating and Dr. Sullivan is a dream to work with. She is always willing to work with you on treatment options and keeps you informed every step of the way. She even calls to check up on your pets days after their appointments! Everyone here truly cares about animals and their well-being. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Our dog was able to be seen quickly for an acute problem, and Dr. Sullivan and the staff were wonderful - as always! We are grateful for her thoroughness and excellent care.

Verry friendly, my dog is a new rescue and has bad anxiety/trust issues with new people. They made it a comforting environment and we were seen the day I called. Highly reccomend. My grandmother has used them for ages, and has never coped a bad word to say.
