Petitude Grooming Salon Lexington, Kentucky

I used Petitude for the first time yesterday and couldn't be more pleased . My fur babies looked wonderful and the staff is so friendly! I highly recommend.

Our Springerdoodle is 2. She looks fantastic every time we pick her up from Petitude. I highly recommend this place for quality of work and customer service.

Do not go here they ripped fur off of a long haird cat without even tellingthe owner they were doing any such thing they hurt an animal and refuse to answer for it.

Amazing groomers with wonderful, caring staff. I take my German Shepherd and Great Dane here and while they can be a handful, they are always beautiful when they leave!

We've been taking our maltese to Teresa and Debbie for at least eights years. They have shown nothing but love and respect to our little Oliver. We have recommended them to our family and friends. I absolutely trust them with our dog.

My mother took her cat to be groomed. (She had used this groomer a couple of other times and had been pleased.) When ask, mom told the groomer not to shave her stomach if she didn’t have to. When Deb completed the grooming she brought “Kitty” to the car. She did not tell mom anything about the session. When mom got home and saw what a horrible job had been done, she called back to complain. Deb told her that Kitty had mats and that why she looked the way she did. I called to complain to the owner, Teresa, today. I was told, “your mom said not to shave her”. I said exactly! She proceeded to tell me that Kitty had not been shaved - her hair had be pulled out while removing the mats! Deb PULLED Kitty’s hair out and the owner, Teresa, defended her for doing it. They brush the mats out to the point of pulling the hair out! This is abuse! It should never happen and should never be allowed to happen! Just know that this grooming salon believes this type of torture and abuse to your pet is ok. I would love to post pictures, but don’t have an option on here.

It was my first time taking my husky here and they did an amazing job! She was shedding really bad before her appointment and she is so fluffy and smells so good. The owner was very sweet and friendly! Highly recommend!!

They have always provided quality care to my babies, including scheduling them when dogs would not be present to ease their anxiety. These ladies outdid themselves this week! One of my boys has been having extreme health issues that were turning into hygiene issues. Petitiude helped me figure out a grooming method to solve this issue and were excessively kind to my baby and me during this rough time. I want t take time to say thank you!

Absolutely love Teresa & Debbie. They treat my dogs like their own! Quick, reasonable price, and amazing work! Highly recommend!

So the one time I got service there I had a great experience. Recently I called to set up a hair appointment and the lady answered the phone with a huge attitude. Maybe call it bad attitudes. Any way, not only was she rude and pretty condescending they said there were no records of me or my dog even being there. Not going back again. Makes me sad because it’s close to the house and a couple friends work there but I chose not to be treated less than.

The professionals at Petitude spoil us rotten!!! Our Cavachon, Buffett, is terrified being away from home and they are so good at getting him in and out quickly and he always looks so handsome when he’s done. I can’t recommend this salon enough. Lily my yorkie loves going to visit Theresa! She’s so sweet and loving with all pets! I high recommend her for all you pets need wether it’s a haircut or just a bath, her blueberry perfume and dog wash she sells is amazing too!

I went to Petituide about a year ago to get my dog's matts out. They took my dog and shaved him completely. Afterwards he wouldn't walk for 2 months.

Love Debbie and Teresa! My pups have been going to them for about 4 yrs now and it's been always great! Wouldn't take them anywhere else.

The ladies at Petitude are the best! They always take great care of our dog Chloe. She always looks amazing when she leaves and is treated like family. The owners are very friendly and go above and beyond to accommodate clients. I highly recommend Petitude!!

We had a coupon for a pet was and groom from the Humane Society , but the lady at Petitude had a bit of an "attitude " when it came to scheduling our new adopted pet. We still have the coupon...went elsewhere.

Amazing! I recently adopted a year old dog with many fears who needed his nails trimmed. They were able to get him in that day and treated him so well! He actually let them touch him to get his nails done plus they were able to give him a quick sanitary and eye trim. They both are wonderful and I can't wait to schedule an actual grooming session for him! :) Thank you!!

I can not speak highly enough about this place! My dog has had a lot of anxiety about grooming after several not so great experiences at bigger salons and this was a completely different experience! You can tell the groomers actually know and care about the dogs and when I came back to get him he was even wagging his tail, which has never happened before!! We will definitely be back!

My cats Cain and Gray Kitty just got a lion cut there today. It is the BEST grooming they have ever had. Very pleased. A little pricey but worth it.

We have a Bijon and a Aussiedoodle that we have been taking to Petitude for several years now. There are several groomers in Versailles where we live but we choose to drive into Lexington because of the great service and the handsome dogs …

Im responding to Mr. Edwards review from today. I'm the gentleman that was standing behind you. I just want everyone to know that you were being very rude to these ladies threatening to write a review only because they were trying to explain to you that your dog was matted and both his ears were infected. It is people like you that abuse the rating system and try to give businesses a bad rap when they're trying to do their jobs. This is a great place with caring individuals that work there. I've been bringing my dog here for years and I'd give them 10 stars if i could.

Done a great job with my mini aussie

I’m not sure what their grooming is like, but as far as customer service goes I am taken aback. I called to schedule an appointment for my puppy, as I have a coupon for a free bath and brush that the Lexington Humane Society gives when you adopt an animal. My puppy just reached 12 weeks of age so he is only just now available to be groomed at most places, seeing as most places require animals that they care for to be vaccinated. Upon answering the phone I explained that I was interested in getting my puppy groomed within the next two days, as the coupon expires soon. The lady on the phone annoyedly snapped and said, “Well why would you wait until the last minute to use a coupon?” I have never been treated so rudely over the phone over a simple inquiry and can only hope that this is not a true reflection of the business itself.

The employees here are fantastic with animals! I highly recommend them.

Owners were very rude when I called to make them aware of an injury to my dog while in their care. My dog's name is Corduroy.
