This was my 1st year bringing my fur children Luna,Miso and Raskal to Norwood, and I can honestly say that I am smitten by the loving care the Vet gave to the babies. Even when we faced issues with Raskal loosing control of his lower legs, the Vet gave me the good, the bad and the ugly of what could happen and what I may face ahead. I needed these to weigh out my options , and the doctor stood by my choices whatever I chose, so we decided treatment and guess what Raskal is walking again, just more like the old man he is, but he's walking. I stand behind Norwood and highly recommend them

Noone takes better care of your animals.

I simply walked in to schedule an appointment for my cat. As I looked around the office, it appeared clean and not chaotic. I warmly said good morning and told him I was new to the Knoxville area. My first in impression of the veterinarian was not good at all. He was sitting at the front desk I didn't get warm greeting back. He was very short and a bit on the sarcastic side! I was very put off by his demeanor. The sad part of this he never took down my phone number to contact me for the appointment I set up. If this is how he treats complete strangers, I can't imagine how he treats some of his patients. As a health care professional I take pride in having a good first impression. Unfortunately, I will take my business elsewhere.

The vet here is stuck in his old practices, and does not take your thoughts about your pet into consideration. He treats his employees poorly (frankly just quite rude) and has to manspain everything. I brought my dog in because he had an upset stomach for a few days (and this was after seeing an emergency vet) and he made me pay $36 just for a syringe and to be told to buy pepto bismol. He kept telling me my dog wasn't feeling well because I feed him table scraps, but my family and I do not do that with any of our dogs. Even after almost yelling at him that wasn't the issue, he still insisted it was my doing. Did not even give a real exam. I went to another vet shortly after and was given probiotics and antibiotics that actually treated his condition. The doctor doesn't actually care about the animals, if he did he would look into the root cause of the issue. Also, treat your employees better.

I love Dr. Tabery and his entire staff! He is very serious and straightforward but take no offense. He genuinely loves and takes excellent care of his patients! My dog gets very nervous around new people but Dr. T comes in and just loves all over him and Zeke loves him back! They are very accommodating and are overall angels. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

I found an a abandoned kitten 2-3 weeks old. Dr. Tabery and staff were very helpful in telling me what I needed to do to help this baby thrive. I am very thankful for their wise advice and guidance.

The doc is great. He reminds me a lot of myself....grumpy with humans but loves animals. If you are sensitive he will probably get under your skin because he is very honest and blunt. Personally, I love it. His prices are more than reasonable.

In one short visit he save the life of my pomeranian was he warm and fuzzy with me NO but he sure was with my dog and that's all that mattered Thank you Dr T and wonderful assistants

They are AWESOME!!!!! All of the staff was wonderful with my Gracie. The doc was straight forward with me and helped every step of the way. He saved my baby. If she had not gotten the excellent care they gave her she would not have made it through. I am so grateful.
