When Jackson came to the end of his illness, the staff and doctors were so helpful and sensitive in making us feel more comfortable in Jackson's final moments. They gave us plenty of time and allowed us to stay with him till the end. Precious people to be able to help with the process. Thanks so much.

I always have to wait in my car 30 minutes to over an hour just for them to get my pets. The pet techs and front desk are hateful and unprofessional. The services are too expensive. This is my last visit. My dog has been upset in the car for 30 minutes now. This is ridiculous. I had an appointment and was on time. I usually have to call the front desk a few times just to get someone to get my pets. The vets are great though, they just need staff that wants to work with the public.

Amazing service! They are always super quick to get us in and out and they take very good care of my elder dog. We had to schedule a surgery and within 2 days the surgery was completed.

I have used this vet for yrs. Everyone is so nice and very helpful. They are all so concerned about your pets. They are so loving towards them.

Whether we have an appointment or not, we almost always sit and wait for an unreasonable amount of time. Also, I understand Covid precautions, but it is now July 2021 and they still aren’t allowing owners in with their pets. Their site says they will allow one owner in with a mask for a scheduled appointment (not walk-in) but even with a scheduled appointment, there is always some reason why we can’t come in. Something definitely gets lost in translation when you cannot be in the room, speaking with the vet. Since the covid protocol, there have been several times when the vet calls us and tells us one thing (when to schedule the next appointment for, something else to have done at the appointment) and the person who comes to bring you your pet and checks you out says something totally different. It’s not efficient and does not bring peace of mind for pet owners. The vets themselves are pretty good, but all of the extra hassle has caused us to consider finding a new vet.

I have been a customer for 20 plus years. 5 of my dogs have had great care here. I love all the Doctors here they are wonderful. Very professional and have the best interest in your animals. I have sent several of my friends and family to AHAH. Can't say anything more!! Awesomeness!!!

I can't say enough good things about the entire staff. They each show compassion and care to every pet brought in. The doctors take the time to be thorough in their care. They don't try to take advantage and do tests that aren't necessary and tell you the cost before they do anything. Great group of people.

New to the area we were looking for a new vet as our 12 yo orange tabby seemed to be quite ill. My sister in law recommended AHAH. They were terrific and worked hard at finding out what was wrong with Murphy. In the end Murphy most likely reach the age to pass. After making the tough decision to have Murphy put down the Dr. And techs at AHAH were wonderful. They had a private room where we were able to be with our baby until he passed. A few day later we received a Sympathy Card from AHAH with a hand written note. So very thoughtful. I would highly recommend AHAH.

Such a friendly and caring place! They actually care about your animals and your concerns. It is such a genuine place with genuine people and that is very important to me. I just want to put in a word about a woman that answers the phone named "B". She is so pleasant and helpful! She is also very patient and caringly listens to all my questions and concerns. This woman deserves a raise! My husband and I think she's awesome. I definitely recommend ASAH!

Dr. Kendrick allowed an animal to suffer instead of pass with dignity and love. The animal had to suffer until she reached a compassionate vet who was able to help her pass in peace. That experience should never happen and this vet should be disgusted with his behavior.

Dr Kendrick and his whole crew are simply AMAZING. I talked to several staff during our visit and they were all friendly and helpful. Super affordable and helpful. Definitely recommend this clinic!

Outstanding service, company and care

I live near Karns, and I've taken every one of my pets all the way to Asheville Hwy Animal Hospital for care and also boarding. I do so because the Drs there are dedicated to quality care and quality facilities. My Gracie, a nervous, unsocialized rescue loved it there -- and would literally drag me into the clinic every time. That told me that she knew she was safe there, and she was apparently very fond of the staff! When I get my next pet, he/she will be cared for at Asheville Hospital as well. It's absolutely worth the drive!

Dr. Reich and the staff are kind, professional, and carrying as always to my dog, Ziggy. Explains everything in detail and makes sure your furry friends are always taken care of. They are always able to get you into the office in a timely manner, and all the staff are so nice and welcoming! Even with COVID-19 protocols are in place, they have found a way to ensure that all questions are answered and visit info discussed. Great place to take your pets! Highly recommended.

AHAC is the best. They take great care to make me and my pet feel well cared for. Very thorough and professional while being friendly too. I trust them for all my sweet four-legged babies!

I absolutely adore this veterinary clinic because it is a family owned and operated business it takes pride in their work. They treat your pets like they are part of their family. With everything going on right now, with the pandemic, they take very safe measures to make sure that they ensure everyone safety. I will continue going here as long as I stay in the vicinity.

I Had Quadruple by pass Surgery and needed to kennel My pups. These folk's were Awesome! I think Ive finally found a permanent Vet for Oscar & Honey Bear.

The place I will never go again that had me sign up for help so I did and they told me to be there by 630 I was 5mints late and that ack like that never talked to me and the ask how much I got approved for and I told them 200 and she said that would only cover the 125 visit and then 50for every 30 minutes we would be there the puppy could not even breath and that turned me away
